Villa Elysium is a contemporary villa close to the ancient City Kingdom of Kouklia. Perfect for relaxing and recharging the batteries. An elevated position affords superb panoramic views of the surrounding olive and orange groves, nearby coast and Palepafos Museum. Located just 5 minute drive from both Secret Valley and Aphrodite Golf Resorts and the nearest beach at Mandria, the villa is just 15 minutes away from Paphos town and airport. Villa Elysium has a large pool terrace that faces the sun all day, front and rear dining areas and private landscaped gardens on all sides. Shade available at all times. There are plenty of sun loungers for everyone, umbrellas, tables and chairs, and Outback Gas Barbeque, Outside sofas and chairs for the evenings around the lit garden and swimming pool. The first floor master bed room has a fully furnished sun terrace with fantastic sea views and overlooks the 8m x 4m kidney shaped private swimming pool, great for that early evening sundowner or a place for the cool air in the evenings. Internally the villa has been carefully furnished and well equipped to provide a home from home. A comfortable lounge with smart TV, DVD, Bose and Google speakers. Open plan fully fitted kitchen with all luxury appliances, including American fridge freezer providing continual ice and cold water and Nespresso coffee machine, a-joining dining area with full air-conditioning. All Bedrooms have fully fitted wardrobes, mirrors, bedside tables and lamps and hair dryers .Each has its own bathroom.A superb location for a tranquil break, or active holiday, whatever you choose. Fully compliant with the Cyprus Tourist Board.

Overall, the property met our needs as a family of 4 for a 10 day stay. It's a 10 minute drive from Paphos airport, following the directions provided. Clean and tidy on arrival, with a lovely bottle of fizz to welcome us. Kouklia village is close by, with a small well stocked supermarket and a selection of restuarants. We recommend The Meeting Place - good value for money and tasty food. You can walk to the village in about 15 minutes but its easier to drive and park in the free car park.Outside, the pool enjoys sunshine all day long and the whole space is set up to sunbathe, dine and relax. Theres a great selection of pool toys provided.Niggles - no drainer to the kitchen sink and no dressing area in the main bedroom, I prefer to sit and do hair and make up rather than stand.Finally - and I appreciate this is totally out of the control of the villa owners - there is a wedding venue in the village. They played loud party music until 11.30 - 11.45pm on 8 of the 9 nights we stayed. So no peaceful evenings sat outside for us. Maybe we booked at a busy time?

Had a fantastic stay at Villa Elysium

Had a fantastic stay for 2 weeks in this villa. Whole process was so relaxed and owners were so friendly and helpful on the run up to our holiday and even when we were away. We definitely would recommend visiting and as a family that visits Cyprus every year this has been definitely the nicest villa. We will return next year cthniblvilla

Lovely relaxing holiday!

Just home from 11 days at Villa Elysium. Was so lovely to be able to stay in one of our favourite villages in Cyprus, within walking distance of the village centre. The villa was perfect, very well equipped and comfortable. The outdoor space was very inviting and great for the evenings we stayed in. Great communications with Margot and John, who were always available to contact if needed. Thanks for having us, look forward to being able to stay again!

Fabulous villa!

The villa is lovely, it is so well equipped (home from home). The local village Kouklia is a short walk away and has a couple of nice restaurants, Gabrielles being our favourite. Cyprus night on Thursdays in the village is a must! A short drive from Paphos, we would recommend the Paphos harbour restaurants. Coral Bay beach is only a 35 minute drive away which is nice. A very quiet peaceful location. All in all a great holiday! Thank you Margot.

Great Stay in Villa Elysium

We found the villa was very comfortable and well equipped. We were there with our daughter, son in law and 2 young grandchildren who were all impressed with the facilities. Our grandchildren particularly liked the pool and despite the early season spent a lot of their time in the water. We liked the nearby village of Kouklia and it was nice to walk to the nearby tavernas and have a drink or a meal.

Beautiful villa

Great communication with the owners who were always on hand to answer any questions. The villa was perfect for our needs and the outside was stunning-the days were peaceful and calm with amazing views. Great location for walking up to Kouklia for fantastic coffee and cake at The Meeting Place and dinner at Thanisis. Fantastic.

Fabulous holiday

What can I say about this little gem?! Just that we had an absolutely fabulous couple of weeks in a modern and very well equipped villa in a great location for walking into Kouklia and taverns, bars etc. However the soft garden furniture was so comfy you didn’t want to get out of it! We needed to speak to Margot and John about the TV but it was sorted out within no time at all......so helpful and communicative. Thanks for a lovely holiday! We will definitely return! Fantastic Time

We love coming to stay at Villa Elysium. Its in a great location, the villa is immaculate and the owners are continually investing in the property. The villa is like a home from home with everything to make your stay here easy. Its a very short walk to the centre of the village where there are some nice tavernas if we don't want to stay in. We cannot recommend this villa enough, although we would like to keep it a secret so that we can return whenever we want to . J and J Bristol

Great location, lovely views in a quite local area perfect for a family get away

Villa Ellysium had everything you’d need for a wonderful relaxing holiday. Whilst we chose to adventure all over the island the villa provided all we needed to pack our own lunches and travel to all corners of Cyprus. We where particularly thrilled to have helped release baby turtles on Lara beach!! Snorkel’s & fins for kids meant we could explore places like the Blue Lagoon without having to hire extra, we took our own adult ones from home. The villa Provided a great base, was clean and comfortable with plenty of space for a family of four and two more. The pool provided welcome cool downs from heat on days that where over 40. The local village of Kalooklia a 5 minute walk away had a wonderful traditional feel with plenty of Taverners and drinking spots. We would highly recommend staying here.

Fabulous chilled out holiday!

The villa is in a perfect location for a chilled out holiday. If you need something a little more busy then Paphos centre is only a short drive away. It is also located conveniently near to Paphos airport. The locals are all friendly and helpful. The villa itself is very well equipped with everything you need for a perfect holiday. The village is a short walk with several restaurants and a local mini market for essentials. A larger supermarket is only a few minutes drive. There are several beaches located nearby and we’re all quiet when we visited. Margot and John recommended several places of interest and restaurants to try which we found most helpful being our first visit to Cyprus. We enjoyed our villa holiday so much we booked again next year as soon as we got back!

Best villa in Kouklia

We have stayed in Kouklia village 4 or 5 times and can confirm this has to be the best villa we have stayed in. The villa is on the outskirts of Kouklia village and has awesome unspoiled views of the sea and surrounding hill sides. A short walk of around 5 minutes takes you into the village square where you will find Gabriels Taverna which was our favourite. We also spent time walking in the hills across from the villa where you can see active archaeological digs. The pool area gets the sun most of the day and by late afternoon there is welcome shade by the patio doors. On the balcony from the main bedroom upstairs you can watch the wprld go by and at night enjoy a quiet drink or two watching the bats catching their dinner around the light on the road (magical to see) or just to sit in amazement watching the starry sky looking for shooting stars. The villa has everything you need for a great holiday and is extremely well maintained by the owners. The large american fridge freezer is great to get an ice cold drinks on demand when you eventually manage to tear yourself away from the poolside. Although the villa is in a quiet area it only takes 20 minutes by car to Paphos or a couple of minutes to the beach. We have already booked next year and talking about the year after already. Thanks you Margot and John for a wonderful holiday experience.

A gorgeous villa in great location

Perfect villa for a family of 4 but could easily accommodate more. On edge of village , 10 minutes from great tavernas' but tucked away from the hustle & bustle. Extremely well appointed villa, fantastic kitchen absolutely everything we needed was there . Lots of helpful information provided by owners . We will definitely come back.

Perfect home away from home!

What a lovely villa, it really was a home away from home. Very well equipped and beautifully finished, inside and out. Perfect location on the outskirts of Kouklia with just a short walk into the charming town. I have never returned to the same location twice but I'm planning on making an exception in this case! Beautiful Villa in perfect, quiet location

From the moment we arrived, we knew that we had picked the perfect place to stay for a relaxing break. The Villa is immaculate inside and outside and has everything you need to make it a home from home. The outside areas provide stunning views over the countryside and down to the sea. You can walk from the door to country lanes or up to the village to some lovely tavernas. It is the best villa we have ever stayed at and we strongly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet getaway that is still close to some good amenities. As golfers it was also a perfect location - 5 minutes to Secret Valley Golf Course!

Lovely Villa

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Elysium and will definitely be returning. The owners were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The villa is very well appointed with good quality appliances, furnishings and great facilities too. The location is quiet and peaceful, overlooking some citrus groves and countryside. There are nearby beaches and plenty of places to visit. The village has a good supermarket and some popular Taverna's too.

Excellent villa, well maintained, clean and great

We have been to Cyprus 4 times and stayed in villas adjacent to this one and it has to be said this is the best one by far. It is within 5 minutes walking from the village square where you can spend the evening in the taverna's before strolling home to enjoy relaxing by the pool looking at the evening skies. The villa overlooks unspoilt countryside and if you enjoy some walking there are amazing walks which can range from 15 minutes to 2 hours. The villa has a real homely feel and is well decorated both internally and externally. The pool is cleaned on a regular basis - only point is that it gets deep quickly around half way across. I dont have enough space to say all the good things you get when you go but suffice to say, if you want quality accommodation, great location dont overlook this place and if you hadnt guessed - we will be back.

Fabulous Break

This was our second visit to the villa, and again we had a wonderful time. The villa owners are great, and nothing is too much trouble for them, so if you have any concerns I know they can put your mind at ease. The villa has everything you need for a relaxing break; it is well appointed, clean and comfortable, with plenty of room for the 5 of us and the pool is a fabulous asset in the heat. The location is great, just a short walk to a nearby village with great taverns and gentle family entertainment - do suggest you eat at Thanesis Place - but book a table for a Thurs, Fri or Sat night. We used Zephyros Adventure Sports for some sea Kayaking and got great service there too. If you want a peaceful break, with the option for the lively entertainment of Paphos, you couldn't ask for better. We will be booking again!

A luxury villa that is home from home

This is our 2nd stay at Villa elysium it is a home from home place with everything that you would need and more !!! Everything has been thought of so you can relax and enjoy the peace and quite of the villa and it's surroundings ,You won't be able to get the kids out of the pool !!! The views are fantastic, and gives it a rustic feel .The village is a short walk away with a few great restaurants and bars but still has that local village feel with some local entertainment on certain evenings. We stumbled upon this village 6 years ago when deciding where to go on honeymoon and have been hooked ever since . John and Margot are so kind and helpful by making sure the details are taken care of and recommend things to help your holiday be a little less stressful . Can't wait to go again !!!!

An idyllic holiday destination

As ever we had a really memorable stay. The villa itself was presented to a high standard, as ever and when coupled with the great weather it makes for a wonderful holiday destination. A short walk up into Kouklia gives the choice of several restaurants with good food and friendly service. A very peaceful spot to chill out but close enough to the motorway for trips into the Troodos or into downtown Paphos We would thoroughly recommend it!!!!

We were looking for a villa in Cyprus as we had enjoyed two previous holidays in Limassol and once we were shown this stunning position for 9 new villas that were to be built we knew that this was the place for us. Near the sea and the golf courses and close to the historic village of Kouklia.

This has turned out to be the perfect location, with sea views olive groves and stunning sunsets. The best place to relax away from the stresses of modern life. Kouklia has proved to be a friendly welcoming village and we have made many friends here and are always made to feel welcome.
