"Almost Seaside," decorated in the style of Seaside, Florida with bright sunny colors and a fantastic lakefront setting. The best location on Cedar Creek Lake, on open water on the sunset viewing side of the lake within 5 minutes of the restaurants and shops of Gun Barrel City, less than 80 minutes from Dallas and within 30 minutes of First Monday in Canton.

This spacious 2,800-sq.-ft.4-bedroom home comfortably sleeps 10 with 3 queen-size beds, 2 full-size futons, 2 full baths, and 2 separate living areas.

The boathouse has an upper party deck perfect for watching the gorgeous sunsets, or relax in the shade of towering trees on the back deck or the upper balcony.

Indoor and outdoor dining tables each accommodate 10, with everything you need in the fully appointed kitchen.

Note: The rate of $295 is based on 1-4 people. Each additional person is $10 per night.

Total Relaxation at the Lake

The photos just don't do it justice. This house is so cute and we had so much fun staying here. We spent almost all our time outside either on the chaise lounges on the back deck or playing in the water with the kids. We even ate most of our meals outside on the extra-large outdoor table. It feels like you're in the country when you see the huge backyard, towering oak trees and picturesque open water. I instantly felt all my stress melt away, and I was amazed at how well I slept on the comfortable mattresses. The air even feels cleaner out there. The owners were great. They answered every last question, and the house was spotless. Thanks for a totally relaxing vacation!

It was an amazing trip. Everything on the house was well organized. Loved the view of lake from dock. Bill is a very amazing owner. He was very cooperative. Would love to visit again

Almost Seaside was great

My friends and I had a nice weekend getaway at this house. It looked just like the pictures and had everything we needed to be comfortable and to make all our meals. My favorite part was sitting on the lawn chairs on the second story deck during sunset.

Amazing Labor Day Weekend

Another great weekend at "Almost Seaside", this was our second time and it was just as great as the first....... Very relaxing and spacious..... Everything we needed was there and close to all the restaurants and Bars...... We had a great time with family and friends in the area and lots of lake time.....

Family Vacation

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. We we're comfortable in the home. The only thing I didn't like was that there were a lot of sliders. I suggested to the owner to get the property sprayed.

The house was everything we expected and more. Very comfortable, great location. It’s 5 houses from our friends home, which made it perfect for us. We will be back Labor Day! Can’t wait !!

Wonderful place!

My adult son, daughter and law and I stayed over the weekend. Very nice. Home is beautiful and we liked that rooms were separated from upstairs and downstairs. The living areas were big and comfortable. We played some of the board games the owner had left. Due to very hot weather, we didn't spend much time outside but they do have a beautiful property.

We full enjoyed our stay. The house was spotless and accommodated our group of 10 perfectly. We brought our own boat and the dock was was already occupied with a boat so space down at the lake front was limited. Overall good time.

Fantastic family weekend

The property was awesome! We had such a great time celebrating my mother's 78th birthday! There was plenty of room and the lake was gorgeous! We will definitely be back!

Super cute!!!

LOVED the house! House decor was super cute with all the colorful fish and beach vibes! Right on the lake. We all went fishing off the dock and caught some catfish. Every one had a great time. House was clean, spacious, with plenty of seating and sleeping space. Had everything we needed!! (except bug spray lmao) Was in the area for an event this weekend and this was the perfect spot to come back to and relax! Lovely neighborhood, lovely back yard and amazing wrap around porches with awesome views! A FANTASTIC place to go to when needing to get out of the big city! Also, multiple people getting ready for our event and the showers never ran out of hot water!!! ❤️ Always a plus! My only complaint which has nothing to do with this property or it’s owners is that the neighbor is currently doing some type of construction in their back yard and would start the power tools around 7-8am during the weekend, and the other neighbor was doing yard work with a loud lawn mower today which all had me awake pretty early my entire stay... kinda annoying for me, my friends slept right through it though... but at least being there was pleasant enough to where I didn’t mind being awake!! Just kinda tired. Other than that it was generally really quiet. I rate it a 9.8/10 and would 1000000000% rent it again if in the area!!!!! Owners, Thank you so much!!

Great waterfront location

Great location, boat dock with sun deck was perfect for watching sunsets. Kitchen had all needed stuff for us to cook all our meals. We had a great time.

Great Thanksgiving Get Away

We stayed here for Thanksgiving and had a great trip. The house is roomy and the kitchen had everything we needed for our feast. Plenty or towels, bedding and games. The only thing we would change is the wifi is not consistent and there is only 1 TV with a few stations.

Great weekend getaway!

We celebrated my dad’s birthday at this home. The home is in a great location on the lake, its layout is perfect for large families, and the hosts were very helpful. No complaints—We will look to book here again if we go back to Cedar Creek!

Family lakeside fun

This house was great for 5 of us and we enjoyed the views, even when the weather was messy. Well stocked with family games and an upstairs sun room is great for hanging out with family. Just what we needed!

We live in Austin and discovered Seaside, Florida in the summer of 1990. We've been back nine times since then and love all the family memories we've made there. We named our home "Almost Seaside" because we wanted to recreate that Seaside vibe of total relaxation and nonstop fun with family and friends much closer to home. It's a wonderful escape from the fast pace of the city.

We fell in love with this home because of its openness and amazing location. The water views are incredible, especially the sunsets. It comfortably sleeps 10, with plenty of areas to gather together or to seek out some quiet space just for yourself. After a day of swimming and boating, it's so peaceful to relax on the deck and gaze out at the water. And we're just an hour from downtown Dallas and within 5 minutes of the most popular restaurants and bars on the lake.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

The colors are bright and happy. The kitchen has everything you could possibly want, and there's a large grill outdoors. The indoor dining table seats 12, and there's also an outdoor table that seats 10. It's a perfect place to reconnect with friends, or to spend fun times with your parents, kids or grandchildren.
