Las Olas Amazing views In Front Of Great Surf

Our condo is a wonderful, 1 bedroom on the 4th of floor of the Las Olas condominium complex. Right in front of La Roca and just steps from Zippers surf breaks. On the beach, with a pool and 3 jacuzzies. One of the few swimming beaches in the area.

Kitchen has all the necessary amenities including a refrigerator, beverage refrigerator, dishwasher, oven, stove, toaster, coffee maker, etc. Cooking utensils and dishware are provided as well. You will have everything you need to enjoy your surf condo on the beach in Mexico. Living room has flat screen TV and futon sofa twin bed. Patio in in front with ocean views. BBQ on patio, and furniture set. Bedroom has king bed.

Ultra Relaxing

The condo was very easy to find,and when we got there it did not disappoint.The unit was very clean,and very well stocked.The views were incredible,the pool and hot tub were greatThere is some road noise coming from behind the condo,if it bothers you just have another cocktail! Las Olas is a ways from downtown SAN Jose we used Uber’s a lot . 120-145 pesos will get you pretty much anywhere you want to. I am looking at renting a 3 bedroom in the same complex this coming October This unit and host were exceptional I would highly recommend to anyone.

We spent the weekend, and it was absolutely wonderful! The place was impeccably clean and tidy, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Great birthday trip!

Wonderful trip overall! The condo could use a few upgrades- some pots and pans were so scratched they could be replaced and the door code box didn’t always work. The ad also says the condo is 4 min walk to Palmilla beach, but I think that’s a typo. It’s a 6 min drive. Still close, but not walkable. We had a blast and will definitely be back!

Great area!

We enjoyed our stay in this condo. The beach and restaurants were awesome! The condo was great for two of us and the shared pool and hot tubs were nice. There was a bit of road noise at night. We had a great time!

Property Owner Really Cares!

We stayed here for our minimoon and unfortunately a hurricane shifted 90% of our plans. It was out of anyone’s control, but the way Stephany handled things will result in us booking a future stay with her. This unit was perfect for a couples getaway! A picture perfect view of the ocean and pool area. The unit we stayed in was clean and had everything we needed. The location of this unit is 10/10. Amazing surf right out front, great food options nearby and very close to the art district in San Jose Del Cabo!

Great view and ocean

The condo was just how it looked online. The view is amazing. Great pool, surfing, and beach. Located right between both downtowns so easy to get to lots of restaurants and activities. Highway behind condo is, at times, loud. Desperately need new bed pillows and better patio furniture. The mattress is comfortable. Would be happy to stay here again.

First time in San Jose

We definitley enjoyed our visit and stay at Las Olas condos in San Jose. The view was incredible from our balcony - loved watching the surf, surfers and humpback whales breach. The grounds/landscaping were beautifully maintained, The pool, hot tubs and patio furniture new, very comfortable and clean. The beach was right at our doorsteps. The weather was perfect in March. The condo is close to grocery stores and lots of restaurants some of which we could walk to. There is a highway directly behind the condo which is quite noisey during the day but did not disturb us at night. The 24/7 security was appreciated. Contact with Stephany was prompt and no issues with booking, paying and checking in. She sent us helpful information prior to our stay regarding reccomended restaurants, grocery stores etc. We had a fun,relaxing holiday and would recommend this condo to anyone considering this location.

My husband and I had a wonderful and relaxing time at Las Olas. Our room had a great ocean view, it was clean, & trendy! Comfy bed! We had literally everything we needed to relax. We didn’t cook at all; instead, we walked by the beach to Zippers & El Pescadito for our main meals. We shopped at WalMart for craft cerveza & easy snacks (we had a car rental). Lots of great surfers and whales hanging around. 😊 Our personal suggestions: Bring binoculars, water shoes for the beach, and wine/beer tumbler the pool area. Enjoy!

Wonderful location and accommodations!

Our communication with the property manager was what helped make this stay great. She was quick to reply and helped with any requests we had. The property location is ideal for surfers and beach goers. The condo is comfortable and has just enough of what you need to cook, clean and enjoy your stay. I would love to stay here again.

Perfect!

Could not have asked for anything better! A pool would have been nice, but I’d take a big cut in cost over a pool especially considering the ocean is right there. Amazing view of the ocean, surf, sunrise, such a cute place, love the furniture, ambiance. Nice giant bed! I only slept in about 1/3 of bed 🤣🤣 super stoked on the surfboard locker. Would most definitely stay here again!

Nice Place VRBO App Disaster

This didnt work out as planned. My family of 4 had Covid leftover American airline credits expiring end of March so my 1 daughter and I decided last minute to use them and fly to Cabo (Other daughter had lacrosse). Booked air tkts and the condo for 2, 3 days before the trip. My wife then decided to ditch lacrosse and join w my other daughter.. now 4 of us. I trided for 2 days to contact via the app that it would be 4 total. App failed and said “Oops something went wrong try again later!” Texted w property manager and she was helpful but we did not know 4 people would be a problem. I did not try to hide that we had 4 people and relayed this mssg but not until we landed due to short time period and app failure. Well upon arrival security escorted us over to the “ Homeowner management office” for a full inquisition… the woman treated us like we were trying to fool them and sneak in with 4 people. Told the HOA approved a new covid law that 2 was the max allowed. I had no idea as there was a pull out and bed in the room. Had we known we would have stayed somewhere else. Anyway after much attitude and a $400 FINE levied, I felt leveraged to agree to… late in the day… nowhere else booked to stay and a long journey. Not good. The failure really was the app which could have prevented this misunderstanding. We have had many stays w VRBO and their competitor without issues. Being treated as a mischief the 1st hour ever in Cabo was not pleasant. Seems the HOA would rather not have “ renters” there. The views are nice.

Beautiful quiet condo with an amazing view!

My husband and I vacationed for our honeymoon here for the first week and we couldn’t have been more comfortable! Check in was easy, the view was beautiful! We saw whales right off the balcony every morning of our stay. Stephany was great at getting back to us with questions we had about the area. Overall it’s a location we will be recommending to everyone, it was just perfect!

location, location, location - sun & surf galore

My husband & I returned to San Jose del Cabo after 25years. It has changed a lot. We found the Las Olas Condo on VRBO and everything sounded ideal for our trip. And IT WAS IDEAL for our 10 day stay. :) We look forward to booking with Stephany again in the future. Either this one bedroom (which was not updated like her 3 bedroom). There were so many things we enjoyed about the one bedroom: - comfy king bed - 4th floor view (I could see my husband surf) - keyless entry to the condo was wonderful - incredible sunrises - full kitchen - new gas gill on patio - surf locker (if you surf-you will love this) - surf shop directly across the road- my husband rented various boards - completely secure grounds - entering from the road, as well as enter from the beach. The grounds security is remarkable. - hot tub - tennis & pickle ball court - Zipper's beach front restaraunt had live music and decent food. It was a little spendy if you are on a budget but fun to sit out by the ocean. Just a short walk down the beach from Las Olas. - breakfast & dinner on the patio (lunch time was too noisy w/traffic to sit outside on the patio). I had read the reviews about traffic noise and was aware of that. It definitely is a thing. We brought a white noise machine and did not find sleeping a problem. The owner, Stephany was exceptionally helpful and accommodating. The taxi driver, Fausto was wonderful and reliable. We visited at Spring break when a negative covid test was required to leave Mexico to return to Alaska. We found that experience convenient and only $35 at the nearby Hospiten. We did not rent a car during our visit. Rather opted to taxi . Fausto even taxied us to the marina early one morning where we fished and caught benita with Richardo. I recommend it. My 58 year old husband surfs and there a several surf breaks in front of this condo. Beaches and various condos down the beach were not very busy. I kept hearing the Canadians were not coming due to covid restrictions. It was pretty quite and the guest and residences at Las Olas were very nice. We look forward to planning another trip and hope to bring others with us on our next trip.... maybe... it was fun just the two of us. Oh -I need to learn some spanish. The locals were nice and they spoke good english. Thank you for our time at 401.

Great place on the beach

Very nice place, gated and secure. Loved being so close to great beach, great view of the Sea of Cortez from our balcony. Relaxing, friendly people. Condo nicely furnished. Had most things we needed. Was great being able to have balcony doors open at night and fall aseep to sound of the waves. Not sure if water was safe to drink, did not see any filter system under sink so played it safe buying bottled water. Pool was heated and nice for a swim, hot tubs great. Enjoyed live music and food at Zippers on the beach ..close by short, walk either from the street or via beach to the condos . We were happy we had rented a car to drive into San Jose Del Cabo to go to the Jazz Festival which was awesome! Stephany was great in accomodating us with a early check in and late check out as well which was grately appreciated. Enjoyed our stay for sure!!!

Great little condo right on the beach.

You will love this place. It's right on the beach and has everything you need. The view is fabulous! The pool, hot tub and grounds well kept. We found all the local residents, guests and staff to be extremely friendly. We appreciated the gated and private parking. Inside, the condo was well equipped. We will definately return to stay at Las Olas

I arrived a couple hours earlier than check in time but they kindly let me in. Also had to shorten my trip because of an emergency at home and they considered it at bill time when they didn't have to. WRT the place itself, you can see the rock and old man right from your balcony, doesn't get better than that to sneak in a surf session at the right time!

Amazing

Our stay in Cabo at Las Olas has been everything we could have asked for. It’s so close to the town of San Jose which has everything we could have needed. The beach out front of the condo has been perfect to relax and read a book as well as surf and swim. The pool area is lovely and well maintained. The only thing is kids under 13 can’t use the hot tub even with an adult. The condo we stayed in was very sweet and had Mexican style decor which we liked very much. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Our daughter slept on the pull out couch and she didn’t mind it but I would say that’s the one thing to be upgraded. It’s a little rustic. We had one issue with our front door but as soon a I sent a message about it, it was fixed right away. I honestly can’t wait to come back. LOVED IT HERE!!!

Great Stay - Recommended for Cabo

We enjoyed our stay in the unit and loved the complex. Right on a nice beach, multiple surf breaks in front for all skill levels, nice pool and grounds. Very quiet and relaxing space, great location central to both areas in Cabo. Great option if you do not want to be in a large resort or crowded area. Rent a car.

Would not stay here again

The noise from the highway is ridiculous. It is right behind you and you can hear it from the balcony overlooking the ocean to the bedroom in the back, where you cannot open a window because the traffic would be deafening. Also the place is cheaply and inadequately supplied. Not a place to unwind.

My name is Stephany and I manage the vacation rentals for my family. I grew up in San Diego, went to college in New Orleans and married a man from Wisconsin, so we have roots spread across the United States. I grew up visiting Cabo often because my Grandmother lived on this property in a palapa for many years. I have many fond memories of being in Cabo with my family throughout the years whether it was snorkeling and being afraid the puffer fish would explode, my dad eating the eyes off of our freshly caught fish we were eating for dinner to gross the kids out, or walking down the aisle of my Aunt's wedding covered in toothpaste to soothe all of my itching mosquito bites. My parents were both born and raised in Southern California and my 2 brothers and I all grew up immersed in the surf culture. So, the incredible beach and surf break right in front of our property at Las Olas is greatly appreciated in this family!

Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade

Since the late 50's my family has had a strong connection with the Los Cabos area. Not only because of the large amount of ex-pats who've frequented these white sandy beaches, but because in the late 1960s my grandmother, granny Annie, purchased a plot of land nicely situated between San Jose Del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas. This location has given us such fond memories, days before any other development was aspired on the beach, long before the transpeninsular highway, intl. airport and Cabo Wabo. Before, romantic stories drifted northward from Hollywood celebrities, describing welcoming fishing villages along the southern cape. With Mediterranean like waters, and charming locals welcoming all to remote destinations. We had this destination to visit. Now, Cabo has even more to offer. We may look back fondly upon the days before development, but progress has its perks. The comfort Las Olas condos provides is incomparable to the days of palm thatched palapas and humming bird sized mosquitoes. So enjoy our condo, we do with every opportunity.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

Las Olas is appropriately named 'The Waves.' We are located on the beach in front of two renowned surf spots; Las Rocas and Zippers. Great surfing, snorkeling, swimming, and just lounging opportunities are bountiful within literally steps from the condo. We're located an easy 20 minute drive to Cabo San Lucas home to Sammy Hagar's Cabo Wabo, and 10 minutes from downtown San Jose Del Cabo home of an ever growing art district, and named the most beautiful Plaza in Baja California by numerous tourist guide books. Great dining opportunities await you in both locations, and for a crazy night on the town look no further west than the marina district in Cabo San Lucas. Dazzeling ocean views are always in view, whether preparing dinner in the kitchen, sitting back on the couch, or having a drink on the patio, that big ocean just keeps shining away. (I've even seen grey whales playing with their young from the kitchen counter).
