Hi family, The towel rack has been put up now.. the house was freshly painted and they had not been re-installed. We did not want to disturb your stay and ask to come in to re-install. As for the hair in one bathroom, I do wish you would have told me when you found it. It’s such a simple and quick fix. I could have sent the housekeeper over immediately. Thank you for the 5 stars. Hi Daniel, Y'all were really great guests. Thank you for leaving everything in great shape Y'all got everything right!!!! A couple of years ago, a guest recommended we leave the checkout information on all the doors. We have had alot of "thank you" for the reminders!!! Hope you had a safe Trip home. Linda

We are glad you were pleased with the cleanliness of the house. Nancy works hard to ensure this for every guest. While y’all were there Garden City had a “double shelf” storm that felt like a hurricane! It did blow off quite a lot of shingles from the roof. We did wait until the end of your week before fixing the roof- We did not want to interrupt your vacation. I’m glad it only took 2 hrs to complete. Y’all are welcome anytime!! Linda and Dennis

I don’t know where to begin with this guest, his true charter presented immediately and at the end of his visit with the damage and revenge he left due to his anger. He was asked to leave 10 min upon arrival due to the vulgar language, scary anger and accusations. VRBO was called with a 3 way call. VRBO recorded the call at my request because I knew there were going to be problems during the stay. The housekeepers were sent back over to remove the wagon full of beach toys and the cooler we leave for guests to use during their stay. The “knat was removed from the counter and we did not honor his request for A brand-new stove top, oven or to have painters come in and do touch ups. He did not like the way the flat top cook top looked because it had been used by someone else … This guest called me back and ask me not to make VRBO find him another place. He apologized and asked to stay and said he was happy with the place. I again got VRBO to do a 3 way call again and to record his voice saying all was good and he was happy and there would be no more problems. I also directed VRBO to their platform to see he decided last min to bring a pet and would pay the pet fee when he arrived. All was good until Wednesday when we came over to collect his pet fee. He refused saying we interrupted his dinner and would pay it tomorrow morning. He left that night in the cover of darkness. The next day, he was requesting his money back. VRBO was given the voice recordings and the message from the guests account about the pet, VRBO closed the complaint and did not refund his money. As for the trash cans, we were just helping them out with the housekeeping of removing trash. Most people don’t want to deal with trash while on vacation. My last point about the reply, now-a-days people think that the uglier you are to someone the more you are going to get in return. ( kinda like when someone bullies someone) that’s just not so, people are apt to “give” if they are respectful and have a true legitimate complaint. Also, stealing the alarm system from the bedroom and putting kitchen trash down the toilets shows your true character.
