We call it 'OBO (Ocean Breeze Oasis)' because of the refreshing sea breezes it offers all year round.

The Ocean Breeze Oasis is a large, ground level, ocean front property featuring absolutely fabulous 180* views from its front living and dining room windows.

And, since the shared patio is right on the South Mission Beach Boardwalk, it is an easy walk directly through the sandy beach right down to the ocean waves.

Look at our pictures and imagine yourself relaxing with a beer or glass of wine on our large oceanfront patio ....... maybe experiencing a GREEN FLASH at sunset ...

Without leaving home, you can be sitting right here ..... people watching on the Boardwalk or gazing at the rolling waves of the ocean ...

By about 5:00, the day-tourists begin to leave and, soon, the ENTIRE beach belongs to YOU ......

As locals, sitting on the oceanfront patio in the evening or walking along the deserted shore by moonshine are the BEST and most unique aspects of staying at the beach ....

Inside the Ocean Breeze Oasis, the tastefully decorated, spacious living and dining rooms provide a wonderfully relaxing and comfortable setting for a most enjoyable and memorable vacation on the ocean.

Original white oak hardwood floors and vaulted wood-beam ceilings add to the rustic charm of this 1400-square-foot unit.

Encompassing most of the north wall in the living room is a HUGE, Used Brick (working) Fireplace.

A built-in Bookcase filled with beautiful coffee table books, finishes that side of the room. The cabinets beneath contain numerous games, puzzles, paperback books, playing cards, and other fun activities.

In the roomy Master Bedroom, you will find a Country French dƩcor with vaulted wood beam ceilings, a California King Bed, a wall mounted Smart TV, Quimper Wall Planters, a vintage glass topped, built-in Vanity and two large closets.

The second bedroom features two antique, hand-painted twin beds and several of Suzanne Nicollā€™s unique artwork designs are on the walls.

The beautifully tiled second bathroom is found in the third bedroom which contains a Trundle Bed decorated with a Black & White French Damask comforter with pillows. In this bedroom are also a small desk and bookcase, along with a built-in dresser.

Vintage abalone sea horses adorn the walls of this second bathroom.

All the bedrooms are furnished with either Italian linens or 100% Cotton, high thread count sheets. Cozy down comforters, duvets and pillows are sure to offer you all the comforts of home ā€¦ or BETTER!!

No need to bring beach towels for your stay at the OBO!

Huge, soft 100% cotton beach and bath towels ~ embroidered with OCEAN BREEZE OASIS ~ are stored in the Linen Closet for your use.

Our Laundry room, fully stocked with laundry soap, is located very conveniently INSIDE the house.

Although small, the Galley Kitchen is equipped with EVERYTHING you might need to enjoy meals prepared at home ā€¦ā€¦ā€¦.. of course, that includes a gas barbecue outside.

We want you to be comfortable and have fun during your stay at the OBO!

The ocean views were spectacular! We loved this property. It had everything we needed and more. Really appreciate the high quality bedding and towels. Plenty of room for our family of five. It was homey, welcoming and we really appreciate the richness of character. Loved the nod to history. The kitchen was well equipped. This location is ideal for families. Thanks for the hospitality!

The views are amazing and waking up every morning to the sound of the ocean was a plus! The home truly felt like my own home. Itā€™s spacious and comfortable. The cons were the beds were a little hard for my taste and the cleanliness wasnā€™t detailed. Other than that, it was a good experience.

Fabulous Location

This beach home has character with a massive brick fireplace. The open-concept kitchen allowed all of us to eat as a family and play games. The patio with umbrellas provided gorgeous views of the ocean. The entire home was spotless and the kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook many meals. We would easily stay at this rental in the future.

Perfect!

We loved the location, right on the water. We saw beautiful sunsets from inside the home, as well as on the patio. There was plenty of room for the 5 of us. The kitchen was small but very well equipped and plenty of seating. There were plenty of towels and beach chairs. The location was perfect for our plans downtown (Balboa Park, Padres game, Old Town) and farther North (Torrey Pines, Encinitas, etc). Our car didnā€™t easily fit in the garage when another car was there, but there is plenty of nearby free parking. The upstairs folks overlapped for a few daysā€”they were lovely, and didnā€™t really have any noise issues. The owner responded very quickly to our call concerning a WiFi issue. We had a lovely stay!

OBO was excellent!

Property is an excellent place for a family stay. Had wife and I plus two teens and there was plenty of room to spread out. Amazing location right on the beach near Belmont Park. Tons to do and really enjoyed our stay despite hitting some colder temps for our stay. Highly recommend!

Perfect beach location

The house is great! Lots of room and very clean. The beachfront has a great vibe and is very relaxing. We had no trouble getting our small SUV in the garage. Highly recommend.

Beach house

Our stay was amazing! Unbelievable views in the perfect location. Jim was super responsive and made the check in process so easy. He even had some lamps on for us when we arrived, since it was late and dark upon arrival. Such a warm and cozy place. Weā€™ll definitely be back. Thank you, Jim.

Mission Beach Birthday

Rented for sister-in-law's 70th bday. She wanted to stay on the beach and this place fit the bill. Check in was on time and smooth and never used the car after. Could walk to everything we needed - restaurants, stores, entertainment, etc. Even rode the rollercoaster and bumper cars Place was as advertised. Liked most everything. Didn't like the lights not having switches (had to plug/unplug) ,and didn't think we should have had to wash towels - especially with a 10 am check out. But overall would recommend

Great End of Summer Stay

We had a great time at this house. The house had everything we needed including a bbq, beach chairs, beach towels, boogie boards, corn hole, games, puzzles, etc. The house was clean and had plenty of extra pillows, blankets and bath towels. The kitchen was a little tight but we used the bbq and ate out mostly. We were on vacation so the small kitchen didnā€™t bother us. The location was perfect and was just south of Belmont Park. Thereā€™s a little less foot traffic than weā€™ve experienced north of BP. The weather was perfect and the water was surprisingly warm. We definitely recommend Saraā€™s Mexican Food if youā€™re looking for quick take out. It was literally a 4 minute walk. The house is within walking distance to a lot of restaurants and bars. The owners were really easy to work with and we would definitely go back again.

Omg, I donā€™t know where to begin! This place is perfect! The views, the location, the space! We stayed 5 nights and we barbecued 2 of those nights. We had everything we needed there! All we had to bring was our clothes and our food! I will most definitely be back! Iā€™ve stayed at a lot of beach houses and this one is definitely my favorite! The only thing I will do differently next year is stay longer ! Thank you for your hospitality Jim! Hope to see you next year!

When I was young, my family & friends used to vacation at Mission Beach, because we always enjoyed the beautiful setting & fabulous weather. Later, when my wife, Susan, and I were raising our two children, we too chose to have our family vacations at South Mission Beach - always staying on the ocean front.

Several years ago we were fortunate enough to purchase our own ocean front condo, Ocean Breeze Oasis, which we stay in occasionally but mostly offer as a rental.

We take great pride in maintaining and improving the property with personal touches, unlike a hotel. Our hope is that others will share the same type of wonderful experiences so that you too can enjoy staying at Ocean Breeze Oasis and create similar fond memories for your family.

South Mission Beach has the nicest beach ā€“ it is cleaner, has a wider beach with better sand, and offers a closer/friendlier community atmosphere. Also, in our opinion, the weather is the best in the U.S.

O que faz essa propriedade ser Ćŗnica?

Our unit has a rustic charm because of the oak hardwood floors and the high wood- beamed ceiling which makes it very cozy and comfortable. Another gem is, because the condo has very large front windows and the floor is 3-4 feet above the ground and not on a slab, it offers an incredible view of the waves and beach from the large front windows ā€“ you can watch surfers, sail boats, ships, parasailers, various forms of sea life (dolphins, seals, etc.) and beautiful sunsets.

All of this helps create a relaxing beach experience that is hard to beat!
