Beautiful Lambert’s Cove Home with panoramic water views

Custom built in 1997, this beautiful Vineyard home offers panoramic views of the Elizabeth Islands and Vineyard Sound and is located off of Lambert's Cove Road, just under a mile from desirable Lambert's Cove beach. In addition to the breathtaking water views, the sunsets, viewed from the expansive deck, are nothing short of spectacular.

Designed as an ''upside down'' house to take advantage of the water views, the first floor includes three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. There is a screened in porch off of the master bedroom, helping to bring the ''outside in.''

The second floor, with its open floor plan includes the kitchen with solid pine cabinets, dining room, family room, and a half bath. All natural woodwork throughout. The cathedral ceiling on the second floor adds to the airy feel of the house.

The finished walkout basement includes an additional bedroom as well as a family room with full futon and a full bathroom.

Some of the amenities offered are: dishwasher, washer/dryer, cable TV, Internet, outdoor shower, a screened porch, and a gas BBQ grill.

Lovely gardens adorn the property.

Hardwood floors throughout, beautifully decorated with artwork from various Vineyard artists, light, airy, everything you want in a vacation home.

Fantastic home near lamberts cove

We truly enjoyed staying at this lovely home at the top of Longview road. We spent evenings admiring the sunset, and the days at the beach as well as the hiking / walking trails around Duarte pond. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Summer vacation

We had a wonderful time at this lovely house. My grandson loved the outside shower and didn’t want to leave! The beach is close and beautiful. Vineyard Haven is close as well. We loved everything about the house. There was plenty of space for the whole family. I would love to stay here again.

Perfect Lambert’s Cove Location

We have always loved Lambert’s Cove and Bonnie’s house offers the perfect house to enjoy this marvelous beach. The house is well appointed and easy to navigate. Bonnie was always available to answer questions and help with any issues we encountered. We would definitely stay here again.

Sun Worship Family Outing

Our family had the best time. The house was made for entertaining. The view was majestic and we spent all of our evenings worshipping the sun as it said goodbye. This is an upside down house and we only went below to shower and sleep. Lamberts Cove beach is the best beach on the island and the house is allowed a parking pass which grants you access to this semi-private beach. Bonnie and Harty were very responsive as there was a day that the internet went down in West Tisbury. The grill was awesome! The deck was amazing and we lived this house!

Lambert's cove and lovely house

The house is very friendly and set up with love and every convenience for those who stay in it. The sunsets were spectacular and the Lambert's cove beach a delight. We bought the $50 car pass and did get spots at beach parking each day as we went early. It is a 0.9 mile bike ride to beach and up hill on the way back. Weather was great. The LOMI to compost was interesting and we used it daily. Clearly the little things to make your stay memorable and convenient are all set up. Generally nights were cool enough and we woke up every morning early to sun and the our grandchild arising. Excellent stay.

lovely, peaceful haven

This is a lovely home-- our family really enjoyed our stay there. It is set in a peaceful, woodsy setting with Lambert's Cove Beach less than a mile away-- a quick bike ride to get there, and the home provides 4 beach passes. You will have to purchase a beach parking pass for the week if you want to park your car at that beach. The second floor of the home is a show-stopper-- high vaulted ceiling with beautiful wood beams and open concept, gorgeous views of the sunset and water from the deck off the family room. The kitchen was well equipped and all the appliances worked well. The home was a perfect size for our family of five, with the large open space on the top floor and lots of nooks and crannies throughout the other levels to provide privacy if you wanted. The owner, Bonnie, was probably the most attentive owner we have had through all our years of renting homes. She is very quick to respond to any questions throughout the entire process, and clearly cares about her home renters. We would definitely recommend this home!

Awesome views

Stunning view of the vineyard sound - such a treat to have dinner and drinks, after a day at Lambert’s Cove beach, another gem, which is very close by, and perfect for the kids. The house is lovely, nicely appointed. We loved our stay and looking forward to hopefully come back next year. Bonnie was very helpful and accommodating.

Wonderful vacation home!

This house is wonderful! The deck and views are amazing. There’s plenty of room for a family of 8 to spread out and enjoy. On the nights we cooked, we ate outside on the deck to enjoy the view and sounds of nature - so peaceful. The sunsets were amazing. The inside dining room table was great for family game night. Lamberts Cove is a 2-3 minute drive. You can walk it - 29 mins / maybe one mile on paved road. The location is 20 mins from town - oak bluffs and edgartown and is secluded from noise and traffic. The house is on a hill and there is a great breeze. It was vey humid and hot on the day we arrived and used the fans in each room to cool the house down. There is a wonderful screened porch snd My dad fell asleep there a few nights ! There are 3 1/3 inside bathrooms plus an outdoor shower, which made life with 4 teens so much easier! We met one of the resident frogs in the frog pond. He is adorable! This is a wonderful home for a fabulous family vacation! We will be back!

What a great sunset!!!

This is a fantastic house to stay while on the Vineyard. There is lots to do within 10 minutes of the house. Bonnie was fantastic to deal with, she was orgnized, responded quickly to questions and made the check in process easy. The sunsets from the deck were amazing. I would not hesitate to stay in this house on my next visit to the Vineyard.

Wonderful Private Home in Great Location

First off, Bonnie is amazing. She is so great to work with, and truly cares. She went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing time at her house (which we did). The house is beautiful, spacious (great open layout), modern, and well appointed. Tons of windows everywhere that can be opened to feel the vineyard breezes. The screened-in porch off the master bedroom is a gem (no better way to wake up in the morning), and the view from the enormous upstairs deck is incredible (especially the sunsets). And loved the outdoor shower, of course! We were five adults and space was never even close to an issue, and the driveway has tons of room for parking. I can't say enough great things about our stay. If you're looking for a great private quiet experience within an easy commuting distance to the rest of the island, I recommend this house without hesitation.

Wonderful Experience in Wonderful home

We have been coming to vineyard yearly for about 6 years now. We have stayed in a few different rentals but this was by far the best one. Just a beautiful home in a great location and what a view from top deck. House was perfect for me, my wife, 2 young kids and dog. Bonnie was extremely responsive with any questions we had. Highly recommend.

Beautiful "great room" with kitchen, living room, dining room, and deck. Great sunsets. The hosts Harry and Bonnie are very helpful and responsive.

A fabulous vacation!

We spent two glorious weeks in this delightful West Tisbury home. Having stayed on Martha's Vineyard many time, we can honestly say that this home is our new all-time favorite. The water view from the deck is fantastic, and the sunsets are extraordinary. The house is beautifully decorated and inviting. We could not have asked for more. Highly recommended.

Welcome to our home. It’s been a respite for us for over 18 years and now we’re happy to share our lovely space with you. I hope you will enjoy it as much as we have.
We bought the property in 1996 because it was the only piece of land available near Lambert’s Cove. We had no idea we had a view at until the frame was built and we were able to walk up to the deck. The view took our breath away. We built the house upside down to take advantage of all that beauty. In winter, blue ocean can even be seen from the screened in porch. So cool!!!
We wish you a wonderful vacation on our most beautiful island. Please make sure you walk the beach and if you bring your dog, please take him/her to run the beach in the morning.
We also have a little pond in the yard. We affectionately call it “frogworld”. We think its one more wonderful feature of our house.
The view from the deck is extraordinary. Don’t forget to look up at the stars. What a show.
