Between Chania and Rethymnon, at the historical village of Alikampos you will find Querini Villa Maria. It is built with respect to the architectural of the region and equipped with modern amenities that harmonize perfectly with the tradition of the countryside.
Together with unique sounds of nature and unobstructed views of the natural beauty of the island, the Villa offers you comfort and privacy during your stay.
Situated to visit both the south and north side of the Island as well as Chania and Rethimnon and above all quality holidays, Querini Villa Maria is the perfect destination.
The villa covers an area of 110 sqm separated in two floors. On the ground floor there is a living room with fireplace, fully equipped modern kitchen, dining-room and a W.C. The second floor includes a 16 sqm double-bed bedroom, a 13sqm bedroom with two single beds, and a big bathroom with bathtub. It is designed to accommodate families, couples or a group of friends, no more than 5 persons.
Querini villa Maria is operating with the authorization of the National Tourism Organization, with license No: 1336228

A great accomodation

We really liked the villa. The furnishings are valuable and tasteful, the equipment is very good. The pool and garden are also great and you have your privacy. Manolis is a great host, super friendly and very helpful. We felt very comfortable and would like to come back.

Amazing house - perfect pool

Are you looking for a nice house in a small village, far away from other tourists - this is the perfect spot! Extremely nice host, who gave us a lot of great tips to restaurants. A car is needed and you can reach a beach and restaurants within 10 minutes by car. I can truly recommend this villa to everyone,

The villa in the olive trees

Peace and calm in a beautiful setting. The white mountains surrounding the valley and a host really helpful and generous. Thank you again Manolis for letting us taste your mother’s delicious moussaka. The villa is very well situated to visit Hania in the north and near the impressive route to the south. Great stay at Villa Maria

We had a lovely week staying at Villa Maria. The Villa is well equipped and clean and perfect for our family of 4. The Villa is well situated to visit various beaches on the west of the island. We hired a car which I would suggest is needed as the property is location is in a small village with local amenities were a 10 min drive away. The property owner, Manolis is a very kind and generous host, our welcome pack was fantastic, he gave us an extensive list of restaurants, beaches etc to visit. He also provided a home cooked meal and ice cream during the week which was a welcome surprise! He couldn’t have been more helpful! I would recommend the Villa and hope to return!

Beautiful house, lovely host

Thank you very much again for our beautiful holidays! Manolis is a lovely host. We arrived really late, which was no problem at all. Manolis welcome has been very warm. The fridge has been filled with fruits, vegetables, drinks and other food. Manolis gave us loads of requirements for restaurants, beaches and so on. The house has been very nive. The environment ist calm and with a car you can reach bigger villages in cities within 10 minutes. Thank you again!!

The best ever!!!

A wonderful holiday! We arrived after dark on a Sunday evening. Manolis had recommended a central pick up point near the villa for us. That worked great. He then led us into the villa and gave some important and helpful information. That was great. But when he opened the fridge, we were amazed. Cola, water, beer, vegetables and a fantastic delicious meal from his mother. Also, a raki with honey on the table... We have never been received like this before. That was just overwhelmingly friendly and caring. The accommodation, the pool, the location, the condition, everything was great. The holiday was a pleasure and Manolis, the landlord, played a big part in it with his unobtrusive friendly attention. Thank you very much!! And many thanks also to his mother who can cook really delicious!! This was Greece at its best and most endearing. At the next Crete vacation we will be back at Manolis! Susi and Uwe

Wir hatten hier einen wundervollen Urlaub. Manolis als Vermieter hatte uns persönlich in Empfang genommen und alles am und im Objekt gezeigt und erklärt. Er ist ein absolut sympatischer Mensch. Zu unserer Überaschung war der Kühlschrank schon mit einigen Leckereien und Getränken gefüllt. Außerdem gab es noch Kuchen, mehrere Brote, Raki und Olivenöl. Im Verlaufe unseres Aufenthaltes brachte er uns auch eine sehr leckere Moussaka, welche seine Mutter zubereitet hatte und einige Tage später auch noch Eis. An der Villa gab es rein garnichts auszusetzen. Alles top und sauber. Der Garten und der Pool sind ebenfalls sehr gepflegt. Alikampos selbst ist sehr ruhig. Alles in allem ein perfekter Aufenthalt für uns. Danke Manolis, wir kommen wieder.

Quelle chance d'avoir choisi ce lieu !A 53 ans j'en ai fait des lieux, des locations etc....Manolis est de loin l'hôte le plus accueillant, généreux, disponible, aimable, que j'ai rencontré !Sa maison est propre et jolie, la piscine avec une suoerbe vue dégagée, on y est complètement préservés de vis a vis. Tout est confortable et prévu et si vous avez besoin de quelque chose que vous ne trouvez pas Manolis sen occupe avec beaucoup de joie.Prevoir une voiture car c'est à 8 minutes des premiers commerces et 10 minutes de la plage.Mais au moins c'est au calme.Nous reviendrons c'est absolument certain.MERCI ENCORE MANOLIS

Erstklassig!

Wir wurden von Manolis sehr herzlich empfangen. Die Villa lässt keine Wünsche offen. Alles war perfekt, sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Lage ist perfekt , man hat Sonne von morgens bis Abends. Wer Ruhe und Erholung sucht, ist dort genau richtig. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden die Villa ohne Bedenken weiter empfehlen. Ein Auto sollte aber unbedingt vorhanden sein. Vielen Dank noch mal an Manolis und seine Schwester Maria.

TOP in allen Belangen!

Schon die Begrüßung war ungewöhnlich. Unter anderem gab es ausführliche Ausflugstipps und Leckereien, so dass wir zunächst tatsächlich schon versorgt waren. Auch im weiteren Verlauf war der Vermieter ansprechbar und brachte sogar eine Moussaka von seiner Mutter vorbei! Lecker!Es gibt auch ein eigenes Fotobuch mit Ausflugstipps. Das Haus ist top: gepflegt, sauber, in absolut ruhiger Lage mit genialem Ausblick. Unsere Kinder haben den Pool sehr geschätzt!Für uns ein optimaler Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen in Westkreta.Unbedingt weiterzuempfehlen!

Toller Urlaub

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit. Das Haus und die Gartenanlage waren ein Traum. Ganz toll ist der Pool, vor allen für Kinder, da er auf einer Seite nur 90cm tief ist. Manolis ist ein fürsorglicher und netter Gastgeber. Von einem gefülltem Kühlschrank bei Ankunft, über Mamas Moussaka bis hin zu Eis waren wir bestens von ihm Versort. Absolut zu empfehlen, wir kommen gerne wieder. Danke Manolis

Einfach perfekt!

Auch im Jahr 2023 treffen alle vorherigen positiven Beschreibungen vollkommen zu: Das Grundstück ist total gepflegt, nahezu uneinsehbar und bietet der Familie auch abseits des Pools Raum für verschiedenste Aktivitäten. Die Aussicht ist grandios! Der Innenraum ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sehr sauber, es wird regelmäßig (nach Absprache) geputzt und Handtücher sowie Bettwäsche werden gewechselt. Der Besitzer kümmert sich um buchstäblich alles und ist immer erreichbar, ohne im Geringsten aufdringlich zu sein. Wir fanden das Haus mit allem ausgestattet vor, sodass wir erst einmal nichts einkaufen mussten. Außerdem wurden wir von Manolis mit wunderbaren Erzeugnissen aus der nahen Umgebung versorgt und verwöhnt. Seine Ausflugs- und Restaurantempfehlungen waren ausnahmslos Volltreffer. Absolute Empfehlung!

Schöne Villa in ruhiger Lage und ein herausragender Gastgeber

Die Villa Maria ist eine von 2 nebeneinander liegenden Villen, die im kleinen Dorf Alikampos liegen. Die Villa ist sehr gepflegt, gut ausgestattet und geräumig. Obwohl sich die 2 Villa unmittelbar daneben befindet genießt man durch die Ausrichtung der Häuser uneingeschränkte Privatsphäre. Im kleinen, gepflegten Garten befindet sich ein kristallklarer Pool (unbeheizt) Liegen und Sitzgelegenheiten. Man hat einen wunderbaren Blick über die nördlichen Ausläufer der ‚weißen Berge‘, bei klarem Wetter müsste man das Meer sehen können. Abends geniest man hier das Zirpen der Zikaden, manchmal machen die frei umher laufenden Schafsherden durch Glockeb-Bimmeln auf sich aufmerksam, sonst hört man… nichts! Fantastisch! Um sich zu versorgen ist ein Auto notwendig, ob Alikampos gibt es im Grunde nichts. Der nächste (kleine) Supermarkt liegt ca 8 km entfernt in Vrises. Die nächsten Städte sind 25 (Rethymno) bzw. 35 (Chania) entfernt, zum nächsten Ort an der Küste (Strand) fährt man etwa 15min. Man sollte die Entfernungen und Zeiten für Fahrten nicht unterschätzen, Kreta ist groß, die Straßen häufig sehr kurvig - es dauert länger von A nach B zu kommen als man bei Betrachtung der reinen Km-Zahl meinen möchte. Wir haben in 2 aktiven Wochen ca. 1900km zurück gelegt. Besonders erwähnen muss man den Gastgeber: Manolis. Eine solche Gastfreundschaft habe ich bisher noch nirgends erlebt. Die Kommunikation mit im per Mail und WhatsApp klappt hervorragend und schnell, wir wurden persönlich begrüßt, er hat sich viel Zeit genommen und uns mit Tipps und Empfehlungen versorgt, sie er zusätzlich auch als Nachrichten mit Links schickte. Aber noch mehr: wir fanden im Grunde einen gefüllten Kühlschrank: Milch, Eier, Saft, Feta, Gurken,Tomaten,Brot, Toast, dazu Bier, Wein, selbst in der Familie produziertes Ölivenöl und Raki mit Honig. Unglaublich! im Laufe unseres Aufenthaltes wurde 2 mal wöchentlich komplett gereinigt, bei der Gelegenheit hat uns Manolis teilweise auch etwas vorbei gebracht. Kurz: ein wundervolles Urlaubsdomizil mit einem Gastgeber, der seines gleichen sucht.

In der Abgeschiedenheit eines Bergdorfes

Es war so , wie schon alle vor uns berichtet haben. Das Haus ist perfekt, Betten sehr komfortabel und Manolis als Gastgeber nicht zu toppen. Ob voller Kühlschrank,Wein oder Essen von der Mutter und als Krönung noch Eis aus der Eisdiele.........wir haben uns rund um wohl gefühlt. Danke Manolis für alles

Super séjour

Tous étaient parfaits. Location très propre au coeur des montagnes dans un petit village typique. Piscine assez grande (environ 8x4) avec douche extérieure. Literie très confortable. Un grand merci à Manolis pour toutes les bonnes adresses données et aussi toute la nourriture fournie à notre arrivée pâtisseries fruits légumes pâtes boissons (vin bière coca eau lait)puis pendant notre séjour, du jamais vu ! Stunning Villa, Great Location, Amazing Hosts.

Stayed for nearly 3 weeks in Villa Maria in Apr/May 2022. Family of 4 with 2 small children (3 and 1). It was absolutely perfect for what we were after. Villa Maria: - Well laid out. All the rooms are large and have aircon. Beds are really comfortable. Large smart TV in lounge. Had everything we needed. - Really well equipped kitchen, with food processor (great for the kids food), large fridge/freezer, all required utensils and bbq outside. - Perfectly clean, and cleaned twice a week to a really high standard. - Excellent pool. It started quite cold, but warmed up really quickly and was swimming in it in May no problems. - Brilliant outside space. Nice lawn and patio for eating. Kids really enjoyed the garden. - Well stocked with towels and wardrobe space. Books downstairs etc. The best hosts (Maria and Manolis) I have ever experienced from a Villa. I could text them with any questions and got an instant response, plus they made some great recommendations of restaurants and places to go. They know the entire island and really helped us make best use of our time. Their mother even cooked us some meals which were superb!

Herausragender Host und tolles Haus!

Was soll ich noch schreiben, alles Positive wurde bereits erwähnt und ist nicht übertrieben! Manolis ist ein überaus sympathischer Gastgeber, der uns jederzeit hilfreich zur Seite stand und mit Informationen versorgte. Das Haus ist großartig, sauber und liegt in einer schönen Gegend, die Ausflüge sowohl in den Nord- als auch in den Südteil der Insel zulässt. Ein Umstand, den wir genutzt haben, um dem Wetter angepasste Ausflüge zu unternehmen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und werden sicher wieder kommen! Hervorragend

Das Haus und der Pool entsprachen der Beschreibung. Das Anwesen war sehr sauber und hatte eine schöne, abgeschiedene Lage und doch nah zu einem sehr schönen Strand. Fantastisch war die Betreuung durch Manolis: tolle Tips für Ausflüge, Strand und Restaurants. Wirklich toll war die Betreuung und Versorgung für die ersten Tage mit Obst, Gemüse, Käse, Süßigkeiten, Wein und Raki. Und die tollen Aufläufe von seiner Mutter. Auch Seife, neuer Spülschwamm, Tücher und Seife war alles vorhanden. Man konnte toll in den Urlaub starten. Wir hatten schon viele Ferienhäuser aber so eine Betreuung und Ausstattung hatten wir noch nie. Nochmals vielen Dank an Manoli

Amazing house & host

It was the 4 of us staying at this property. Before and at arrival the host has been just been comforting us - thanks again. What is meant by “basic kitchen stuff” actually means a well equipped kitchen and a fully stuffed fridge with regional products. Apart from that we received an arrival gift including first class olive oil, a bottle of raki and Rosé & regional bakery treats. Everything was clean and the rooms had proper comfortable beds in both rooms which we appreciated a lot! Air condition is working greatly. The location has an amazing view on the mountains and invited us to have an absolute great time! It is sheltered from other houses so you really enjoy great privacy. Close by you can find a winery which we recommend going. The next beach is 20min by car. We all definitely recommend visiting this location.

Eine sehr schöne Zeit auf Kreta verbracht

Unser Aufenthalt in der Villa Maria war von Anfang an sehr angenehm. Wir wurden von Manolis mit einem vollen Kühlschrank und einigen Leckereien empfangen. Das ganze wurde getoppt von den zahlreichen Tipps für Strände und Tavernen sowie der Moussaka seiner Mutter. Zu erwähnen ist, dass das Ferienhaus sehr abgelegen ist und die Zufahrt nach und durch Alikampos (sehr kleines Bergdorf) holprig ist. Das ganze hat uns nicht sonderlich gestört. Wer einen ruhigen Urlaub fern vom Massentourismus verbringen möchte, ist hier genau richtig. Der Pool sowie der Außenbereich sind fantastisch und so gut wie nicht einsehbar. Wenn wir das nächste Mal Westkreta besuchen, ist Manolis unsere erste Anlaufstelle.
