Beautiful Beach Property

We enjoyed a wonderful family vacation on Ocean Isle at The Dream Catcher. The house is lovely and Laura Ann, our beach house manager, was very attentive from start to finish. Would definitely recommend Luxury Lodging by Laura to anyone looking to stay in the Ocean Isle area.

Amazing house, Great location

The Dream Maker was beyond perfect for our beach wedding and my extended framily vacation. Words cannot express how incredible our experience was at this crazy awesome home. Perfect stay for large family summer reunion

The Dream Maker was the ideal accommodation for my seven siblings and our 20 combined children of all ages. It was extremely clean and well-equipped. We loved the pool area tiki bar, the sizable pool and the short walk to the beautiful beach. The beds were comfortable and the temperature was perfect for sleeping. The bunk rooms were ideal for the kids. Having sea turtles hatch while we stayed was a fun surprise for the kids!

Family week long getaway

We had family and friends in for a week and chose this fantastic location. The view of the beach was spectacular, and the access to the beach was convenient. We had a couple of things come up, like the smoke detector batteries began beeping, and we didn't follow the directions exactly on the elevator (despite that they are posted perfectly), but the property management was so responsive and quick to handle everything. This house made our trip perfect and so comfortable. I highly recommend it!

Beautiful and well appointed house

The property was beautiful , the rooms and beds extremely comfortable Laura the property manager was terrific to communicate with . Including when the elevator needed reset . Since I had a broken ankle it was appreciated so I could spend time by the pool with our friends

Dream maker 2023 OIB vacation

My family has been spending a week at OIB since the mid 1980s for at least 30 of the last 38 years. The challenge has always been to find a property to comfortably accommodate my expanding family. This year’s group included 13 adults and 10 children from ages 11 months to 7 years. We all loved our stay at the Dreammaker. Wonderful beach access,great pool and deck area,beautiful large kitchen, and plenty of room to spread out. Liz,our property manager, was easily accessible. We are planning to return next year😊

Perfect for our retreat

Loved everything about this gorgeous house!! Location: Perfect! We had 30 people and had the time of our lives. 50 people for beach wedding. Big open living space w awesome kitchen. Cooked every night except for the wedding and Hung out around tiki bar, swam in pool and played games. Laura gave the best service. She has certainly perfect the beach wedding program. Could not be happier w our decision to rent this beautiful home. Family and friends came in from 6 different states. Cannot imagine a better set up for a beach wedding house. We will be back!!

Perfect family beach retreat!

Our experience at this 10 bedroom oceanfront home was nothing short of incredible. The pictures simply do not do justice to this absolutely gorgeous property. It exceeded our expectations in every way, providing the perfect setting for our large group of 27 people from 6 families. The large pool, tiki bar and oceanfront decks were used day and night. We played games around the pool and even ate a couple dinners at the patio tables around the pool. The large kitchen (and outdoor grill) had everything we needed for cooking our group meals. Loved the large, open floor plan where we could all eat meals together and hang out. Liz and Laura from Luxury Lodging By Laura manage the home and were always quick to respond to any questions. The home was extremely well maintained and very clean. I cannot recommend this property enough to anyone looking for a luxurious, clean, and stunning beachfront retreat. We loved The Dream Maker so much we are thinking about hosting our daughter’s wedding here in October. This place truly deserves all five stars!

A True Dream Maker!!

From the moment that I daughter became engaged, she knew that Ocean Isle was the place for her wedding. We were very lucky that this house was available for the date of the wedding. It was in the process of being completely remodeled. Laura, the owner was extremely helpful in providing us answers with any questions that we had. We were fortunate enough to see the renovation process in our visits. WOW!! From the moment that we arrived, we were amazed at the BEAUTY and FEATURES of this property! The house is EXCEPTIONALLY decorated and very accommodating for all of our guests. Everything about it was AWESOME! With it being located on the oceanfront, the views were absolutely breathtaking! It is the PERFECT place for a beach wedding! Laura Ann, our wedding event planner truly knew every detail about this house and did a PHENOMENAL job. We highly recommend her!! This property is rightfully named "The Dream Maker" because it helped make our daughter's wedding a DREAM COME TRUE!

Dream family VaCa

We stayed at the Dream Maker 8/20-8/27 for our family vacation. 17 adults and 9 children (ages 2 mo-8 yrs) had plenty of room to spread out and to gather together. The home was very clean and well maintained. The elevator was serviced our first day there and worked during our stay. There was a problem with the washer, and Liz had a new one on the way the next day. The well equipped kitchen was large enough that multiple people could be working in there and not be in each other’s way. I will say the smaller side of the oven was too small to fit a half sheet pan so it wasn’t very useful. We loved relaxing around the pool at night and even with music playing it didn’t disturb the kids sleeping on the second and third floors. We all had a great time in this lovely home!

Misleading website, NOT a Luxury wedding venue, bulk sleeping quarters in poor.condition.

Rented property for two weeks 8/6-8/20/22. For two family reunions. The Website is misleading, this is not a luxury wedding venue, more like bulk sleeping quarters in poor condition. Luxury Loding by Laura , Terrible management. Serious problems with house never received a phone call, just emails with excuses, delay tactics, and even falsely accused us of damaging their rundown in disrepair elevator that never works. No qualified person inspects the property to see that all is working or worse they inspect and don't care. They do clean the property and pool well. 1.) Elevator does not work. The elevator fix provided by Luxury Loging by Laura, reset the electrical panel curcuit breaker five times a day. This fix does not work. Elevator will not come when called, door will not open so trapped inside and need to use the manual door lock release to get out, door will not open so need to insert tool in door peep hole to unlock to use elevator. Elevator stops unlevel to floor and then will not run at all. Mgt solution it will take 4 days for technician to repair even when told elderly in house who can't climb steps. 2.) Dangerous trip hazard, third floor deck, multiple people tripped on 1 inch protruding deck board. 3.) Second floor deck door broken won't close and temporary fix serious cutting hazard. 4.) Water temperature set at scalding/boiling hot. Hazardous burn danger for children and adults. 5.) Grill was filthy, rusted, and broken, with the grease trap on the ground and grease everywhere. 6.) Viking dual oven, large side, Oven Turned off after a couple hours while set at 400°. Ruined a traditional family dinner. 7.) Cabinet style microwave replaced with counter top unit that does not fit and exposed metal can cut todlers hands. Also, looks terrible, certainly not luxury. 8.) All matresses are memory foam. They are uncomfortable and most of our family complained about them. Bed sheets slip off constantly, a common symptom for memory foam mattresses if you do not buy oversize sheets. Extremely annoying. 9.) Half the blinds missing open closw rod. day at property, one of our family members was in the restroom and could not close the blinds, missing the rod for closing. 10.) Some toilet flushers installed wrong, you have to flush up not down, annoying figuring that out.

Perfect for our Wedding!

The Dream Maker beach house was the absolute perfect location for our Fall 2020 wedding! About 28 family members enjoyed the house, pool and beach with room enough for all! Another 20 family and friends joined us for the Wedding! Plenty of room to spread out and lots of outdoor space steps away from the beach! On property gazebo was where we said ‘I do’s’! It is a beautiful, spacious house and property! Laura and staff were attentive to our needs and questions! Definitely would recommend!

Family Vacation

Our whole family including 30 adults and 17 kids stayed here over the summer and it was the best vacation! We all had an amazing time and the house was perfect. Very clean and well kept. We had a few things come up, that always happens, but the property manager responded right away and would do everything she could to fix any problem. Great place to vacation!

Wonderful

The Dream Maker lives up to its name. We had a family reunion with 14 adults and 11 children there. Everyone had fun hopping waves in the ocean and playing in the pool. The kitchen was well equipped and there was plenty of space for all of us to prepare meals and then sit down and enjoy them. I would definitely consider staying at the Dream Maker again. We had a wonderful experience!

Great Location, Great House for Retreat

Laura was awesome and communicated with me the entire process. The house is beautiful and well kept. Kitchen is well stocked, beds were comfortable and plenty of space for everyone. We had 46 and never felt crowded. We can’t say enough about our time there and are working on the next trip there.

Perfect family retreat

Our big extended family of 26 from Michigan, North Carolina, Atlanta and Ohio had an amazing time at The Dream Maker!! The house is direct oceanfront and so easy to get to the sand. In the past we have stayed at some other beach hoses where we had to walk forever just to get to the beach even though the other houses were oceanfront so we were so excited about the location!! The house was spotless!! We loved the very large open floor plan that allowed us to gather together but also enjoy some time to ourselves. The kitchen, main living room and dining room are all open to each other so we played games and all hung out together in the living room every night-it really was the perfect floor plan for us. We cooked almost all of our meals at the house and the big kitchen is so well stocked...they even have a Viking gas range with 2 ovens which was a real treat when cooking for a crew our size. We hung out at the pool and tiki bar during the days and walked on the beautiful flat beach. Ocean Isle was WONDERFUL! The owner and her house manager Laura Ann could not have given us better customer service-they were both fabulous!! They were so kind, responsive and helpful. The bedrooms had the MOST comfortable beds-better than my bed at home-so I might need to stay longer next time!! We are definitely coming back to The Dream Maker!! Love AMY from Dublin

Amazing Venue Wonderful Place for a Family Wedding

The Dream Maker was a stunning home and the perfect place for our wedding! We live in Ocean Isle Beach, but my entire family was coming from Ohio and this was the perfect place for a family gathering and wedding. My family had the most amazing time relaxing together, enjoying the beautiful views and beach time. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to get married. We would do the same thing again without any hesitation!

Absolutely AMAZING experience

We absolutely love the Dream maker! We had 30 family members from around the country come together for our annual beach trip. We have been doing this for the last 25 years and this home beyond exceeded our expectations… And that’s saying a lot with this group.. The floor plan is wonderful w an abundance of common space to come together to visit, cook meals and just hang out… The kitchen is spectacular Complete with two refrigerators, a double gas in Viking stove and freestanding icemaker not to mention loads of counterspace.! The bedrooms are beautifully decorated and the mattresses are so comfortable we asked Laura, the owner, where to buy one for ourselves. The pool area might be the best I’ve ever seen. There is a tiki bar where we visited and played music on their fantastic sound system each evening and each night a different family member play bartender at the tiki bar while the children swam in the pool. The location of this home is amazing with private beach access right off the pool area Onto a flat wide sandy beach.The staff at luxury Lodging By Laura from booking to leaving was so quick with responses and so easy to work with. We came for a family gathering but I can definitely see why so many people do beach weddings at this house. It completely blew away all of our expectations and we cannot wait to return.

What a wonderful Thanksgiving week with family!

We truly enjoyed our stay with extended family over the Thanksgiving weekend! The kitchen was amazing and had everything we needed to cook a fabulous Thanksgiving lunch for everyone. This truly felt like home, and Laura was wonderful to work with from the beginning to the end. The kids and adults alike enjoyed the heated pool and watching the deer run down the beach a few mornings. Thank you so much for your hospitality, and we hope to return soon.
