Create your own private cabana on the sugar sand beach with our comfy beach chairs and umbrellas. At the end of the day, wind down with your favorite cocktail as you watch the sun dip below the horizon from your own private rooftop terrace…its 5 o’clock somewhere...

Sunplace is located within Indian Shores, a charming, laid back, family-friendly community located on a pristine beach. Walk to one of the nearby restaurants, rent beach cruisers to go exploring, hop on the trolly to one of the neighboring beach towns, or take a short ride into St. Pete and go shopping on Beach Drive. We are centrally located between St. Petersburg, Clearwater, and Tampa. Universal, Disney World, Epcot, Hard Rock Casino, and Bush Gardens are just a short drive away.

The rental includes everything you need for a great vacation, including towels, linens, beach gear…even sand toys for the kids. Come relax, reflect, and recharge! We will take care of the rest.

Please note this small building does not have an elevator and the condo is located on the 2nd floor.

We loved the accommodations and the direct beach access. Wonderful beach, great views. Wish we had known that pets were not allowed on the beach as that kind of cramped our style a bit. A grill on the property would be a fantastic addition.I would definitely recommend to friends!

Everything about our stay was amazing! The perfect location, the beach chairs and umbrella, cooler, beach towels and the most amenities (soap, paper towels, etc ) we have ever had at any rental. Would definitely stay here again!!

Beautiful condo with direct beachfront access. The owners have very clearly put a lot of thought and love into their place. The decor is so fun and fits so well. Clean, everything you need provided to just hit the beach. Excellent communication throughout. Definitely recommend!

We loved the location and the condo was beautiful.I really wanted to say we would come back but we probably would not. This was due to the smell of the condo, the potential presence of mold, the major accumulation of dust on the ceilings and decorative items and the ant problem. We did wash our clothes before our trip home but had to rewash a couple of times with extra vinegar because the smell did permeate the clothing/luggage/toys. I hate even having to comment on this because we truly had an amazing vacation and the condo was stunning and perfect for my family. My brother was able to bring an air purifier and dehumidifier which helped slightly but the issues are deeper and need proper handling.

Perfect stay at the beach

"Our stay at this beachside condo was absolutely fantastic! From start to finish, everything was exactly as described, exceeding our expectations. Communication with the owners was incredibly easy and helpful, making the entire process stress-free.A true testament to their excellent service was when I accidentally left my jacket behind. The owners were incredibly accommodating, offering several convenient options to get it back to me – a gesture that was genuinely appreciated.Inside the condo, comfort was key. The beds were wonderfully comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep after long days by the ocean. And speaking of the ocean, the view from the condo was simply amazing, offering breathtaking vistas that we enjoyed constantly. Being just steps from the beach was the ultimate convenience, allowing us to easily maximize our time on the sand and in the water.Finally, the instruction book provided was remarkably helpful, answering all our questions and making our stay even smoother. We had such a wonderful experience that we will absolutely be staying here again on our next beach getaway!"

Fantastic! We could sit on one of the 3 decks and watch our 12 and 13 year olds play on the beach. Felt very safe. You are close to Clearwater with the crowds and activities, but you aren’t IN Clearwater with the crazy crowds. There’s no pool, but no one missed that at all! Great food options close by. Well appointed rental with all we needed including beach chairs and boogie boards. Liunge chairs on the top deck were torn up and should be tossed, but again, no one cared at all. When we had a question Jen was quick to respond. Definitely recommend!!! We’ll be back.

This place was super cute, pet friendly, and right on the beach. Pretty much anywhere in the condo you can see the ocean which was a huge plus. Great for a little weekend get away. Very close to cute coffee shops and salt rock grill which was delish!

The owners were the best. They were always there for me when I had questions. The view is the best. The beach was not crowded at all at this time of year in April., 2025. There were 5 of us. If you want steps to the beach and umbrellas and chairs and sand toys.it’s all there.

Great place!

We stayed for 2 weeks, amazing views, quiet, clean and everything you’d need. Wonderful sitting on the balconies each night watching the sunset. Management was great, very prompt if I had any questions. Highly recommend this place. Also Crabby Bill’s all you can eat crab legs on Wednesdays is def worth it. Guppy’s is so good as well.

Great stay

We enjoyed this property so much, once again! This building is perfect for families or groups who want to be *right* on the beach. The manager/owner was very accessible and helpful. Perfect downtown condo

My family of 4 stayed in the gorgeous Condo! Was close to everything and was perfectly described. They had board games which we played every night, and a shuffle board that the boys loved. 2 beautiful balcony’s and stocked with everything you would need. We would definitely return. Dawn was very communicative with us and it was perfect.

It is a lovely condo with a beautiful ocean view and convenient beach access along with a shower right outside the property in the garage. The twirly stairs inside the condo are cute, though a little precarious for younger kids/babies. I loved the beach supplies as we didn’t need to bring our own. The rooms, towels etc were adequate for our stay and the number of people we had (6 adults, 1 child). Having a washer/dryer was a great plus! Loved the beach towels that were sand-proof and water absorbing. Also loved the 2 balconies & terrace, amazing sunset views!

My wife is from California and I am from Michigan. We met on a random road down the Pacific Coast Highway and the rest they say is history. We live in Tampa (just a short drive away) and are the proud parents of Finn who keeps us pretty busy.

My wife and I have always felt connected to the water and after Finn was born we found ourselves the beach constantly. I had been coming to Indian Shores since I moved down in 1998 and fell in love with the laid back family atmosphere it had to offer. So after searching for nearly two years...we found Sunplace. We fell in love instantly and knew this is where we wanted to make our family memories together. Since our schedules never let us use it as much as we like...we wanted to share it with others...to let our guests get a better understanding of why we think this is one of the best places on earth! Enjoy!

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

A large majority of the gulf front condos are cookie cutter - two bedrooms and two bathrooms with a small balcony located in a huge building. We wanted to buy a property that had character and was welcoming to our family and friends. We believe this property is one of the most unique on the beach - offering a tremendous amount of privacy with all the modern conveniences. But don't take our word for it...come see for yourself!
