A last minute cancellation makes this unit hosted by Coastal Properties LLC in Orange Beach, available for January and February 2026. This 7th floor unit has tile floors throughout and features a sofa sleeper in the living room as well a reclining chair. There are flat screen TV's in the living room as well as the beachside master bedroom and guest bedroom. There is a fully equipped kitchen and you will enjoy the gulf front balcony just off of the living room. Sunswept is situated directly on the sugar-white beach that separates you from the emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico. This Orange Beach condo is just six miles east of Gulf Shores, Alabama. You will find modern shopping facilities directly across the street. Churches, 10 first class golf courses, and fishing are only a short drive away.

Great getaway!!

We enjoyed our stay! Perfect for a short getaway. Many of the plugs were on switches so that was a little confusing, but we finally figured it out! We first thought the bedroom plugs didn’t work!

The balcony was amazing it’s right on the beach pool and walk way to the beach was great. The condo it’s self needs to be updated a lot of rust in didn’t areas There was no hair dryer in the condo the couch was not comfortable but the 2 spin chairs were great the dinning room table was great. The beds were comfortable as well

To many problems

Great spot. But. The popcorn ceiling was falling down in the kitchen we cleaned it up. The place didn’t not smell the best. This is not senior friendly needs to be updated. Had to go buy batteries for the remotes some outlets didn’t work. I would not go again it was not like they presented it. Wish I could get money back.

If you are looking for a no frills condo with a great view then you’ve found your place. This condo complex doesn’t have much as far as amenities go though. We had a maintenance issue in one of the bathrooms that was resolved quickly. Management company was very easy to work with and responsive.

Mother/ Daughter Beach Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our view from the 7th floor. Everything was clean. I especially appreciated the fan that was in the room since I forgot to pack my noise maker. Having a Walmart and a Dollar General across the street was very nice. The manager was super nice when we called to make a reservation for the room. The only problem was the plugs in both bathrooms quit working and there was no reset button. We reported it but they didn't fix it before we left. I would recommend Sunswept to our friends.

Overall nice place, no frills

Pros: -Great location-Great view-Right on the beach-Great pool area, very clean and neat. Lots of seating there. -besides the cons listed below, the unit was clean. Definitely nothing fancy, but that’s not what we were looking for anyway. Cons:-There was white stuff in the floor and in the cabinets, which after reading other reviews, I discovered this was the popcorn ceiling failing off. -some outlets did not work. -a new couch is needed!! It’s very worn. Loved the other two chairs though. -the tv in master bedroom wasn’t hooked up, there were just cords hanging everywhere and one plug in didn’t reach the outlet behind dresser.-only my husband was strong enough to get the deadbolt to latch on the door. Definitely a safety issue for those with small children. My toddler could open the front door if we didn’t have my husband to latch it.

Unit 703 needs a complete overhaul

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Good news-The view from the unit-The many channels available on the television, and the employees who worked in the office during the week.Bad news-Unit 703 is run-down and needs many items replaced. The homeowner obviously does not care how the unit is maintained. A few examples are: The popcorn ceiling is coming off throughout the unit, the trim is old and beat-up, the tile is broken and has large gaps, the cabinets were “upgraded” by using a white stick-on covering (that is coming apart). This unit is in worse shape than a one-star hotel. The pictures online do not tell the story.Safety issue—The deadbolt would not engageLastly, two pipes broke above and next to the unit. We had a floor fan running in the bathroom to dry the wet wall and ceiling.

Reviewer Comments: As always we had a great time we missed our usual unit 108 but we waited too late. this unit was excellent and we got to see the ocean from above which my granddaughter wanted. Unit was well kept and just what we needed. Only negatives were just one of the tables at the pool had an umbrella the other three did not and the condo balcony floor was very dirty and needs a good cleaning.....we will be back

Very Disappointed

Let me preface this review by saying that I am not typically a complainer, but I feel future prospective renters need to know the truth about this unit. AND I also think the host and management need to get busy making it better. This was the worst maintained and most dated condo my 2 friends and I have ever rented -- anywhere -- and between the 3 of us, we've been all over the U.S. and Europe! First of all, it needs a de-humidifier, BADLY. Everything in the condo stayed damp all week, and the vent covers and returns are all rusty. How much could it possibly cost to paint or replace them, and get a de-humidifier? Speaking of replacing things, the dishes in the cabinet were the same ones my grandmother had 45 years ago (no kidding), and some of the light fixtures and bed linens were outdated, faded, and worn. In addition, several light bulbs were out, and some outlets didn't work. There were cracked and broken tiles in the kitchen and both bathrooms, and both toilets need new seats. Some touch-up paint throughout the condo would do wonders for it, even the railing on the balcony -- which is the best part of it! It does have a great view, and the Sun Swept pool is nice. Since returning from our trip, I scrolled down to the bottom of the reviews and saw one from 7 years ago that says the front shower didn't drain well......guess what still doesn't drain well, SEVEN years later?!?!?!?! Absolutely unacceptable, especially for the price we paid.

Great location but I've stayed in better places.

So i Checked in on a Sunday the condo smelled of marijuana. Its a very strong smell so i was upset. I called a few numbers to report it because I didn't want too be charged for a smoking fee we do not smoke and my son is sensitive to smell.. I finally called the emergency number and left a complaint. After using alot of my own cleaner the smell was 'tolerable. Also after that i found small dog pooh behind a chair so i complained again because we did not bring a dog. The front office did send someone to reclean the next morning (monday) . I give it 3 stars for the location and clean pool.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First of all the Sunswept is one of our preferred places to stay.We only had one problem with this condo. The AC would not cool properly. There is definitely something not working properly. We did not report it because we didn't have time. This was a trip to see my son get married on the beach so we were basically only there to sleep. It was never completely cool and the unit ran almost constantly. The humidity in the condo was terrible. The floors were damp and the refrigerator had condensation on the door. The condo was clean with the exception of the floor which was sandy and when using a towel on the floor to wipe condensation it was pretty dirty. Sheets were nice and crisp. No problems with check in. Appliances are nice. Balcony is awesome!. We would stay here again if the AC is working better.Iintend to call the office and let them know so future guests won't have the same problem. We would stay in this unit again if the AC worked better. Otherwise we will definitely stay in a different unit here.
