Waterfront Village Beach House

This 3 bedroom 3 bath home accommodates 6 people. All bedrooms have queen beds with pressed sheets and down comforters. The large master bedroom has an in suite double bathroom that shares a large shower. The second bedroom has an in suite bathroom with shower. The 3rd bedroom has a bathroom across the hall with a bathtub/shower. All of the living spaces enjoy constantly changing water views. The kitchen is fully equipped with brand new appliances, blender, microwave, coffee maker... the essentials to create a gourmet meal. There is a huge deck that is about 10' from the beach. A BBQ sits just off the deck and you can watch the view while cooking.
We have Wi-Fi and a smart TV. If you have a Netflix, Amazon video or other movie account, you can use your passwords. We have basic Direct TV, along with a collection of DVD's to enjoy on the Blue Ray Player. A good selection of books and games are here for you to share as well. A gas fireplace makes the home cozy on cold days.
Located right on the water in Lopez Village at the opening to Fisherman's Bay. Enjoy stunning western views of San Juan, Shaw and Orcas islands. You will love watching the daily "parade" of boats coming in and out of the bay. The house sits on a low bank beach with easy stair access. On low tide you can walk the beach for miles. It's a treat to watch the seals play in the water and to see the Eagles fly by. Enjoy a beach fire and watch the amazing sunsets. The house is a moments’ walk from restaurants, shops, Holly B's bakery, coffee shops, art galleries, book store, bike shop and grocery store. Also a short walk to the Saturday Farmers Market open from end of May till Labor Day. The ferry landing is 4.5 miles away from the home.
Lopez is a very special island offering so much for a visitor to do. Bike riding, beach-combing, hiking, golfing, fishing, crabbing and kayaking are among the many things you can enjoy. The possibilities are endless on this picturesque island that is a mix of lovely pastoral inland settings coupled with amazing beaches, sunsets and boating activity.
The owners are a neighbor and they take great pride in this property and want you to enjoy it as much as they do .

Judi and Brian are really wonderful people and very welcoming. We have stayed here before and will return again. It is a really well appointed and relaxing home. We had a wonderful week in this beautiful spot! The weather was gorgeous, and the house is situated in the perfect spot...close to town and right on the water. A perfect place to stay on Lopez! In town, on the water with a stunning view, very well appointed for every need, and as comfortable as home with all the perks of a hotel. Plus, Judi was so great to communicate with. Looking forward to my next visit already.

Special Birthday Celebration 70 Years Around The Sun

When I turned 70 I wanted to celebrate all the things I cherish in life. My children joined me, hopped on the ferry and we arrived at Judi & Brian's Beachfront Haven on Lopez Island. I have been dreaming of sitting on the deck and reading in one of the wooden lounge chairs, overlooking the water and watching all the sea ducks and seals float by. The house is full of comfortable furniture, wonderful artwork with marine touches and windows all facing west over an incredible view of San Juans. Everything your heart desires is within walking distance and we stumbled on a high school fundraiser for Valentine's Day Crab Dinner that was so delicious we will remember it forever. The hosts are most gracious and helpful, and leave us treats and special touches that make our stay a dream come true. I can't forget that feeling of waking up in the morning looking out over the sandy spit across the opening to Fisherman's Bay, fog blanketing the trees beyond and eagles soaring overhead, blessing us. This home is a treasure and every time we come we have memories that keep us filled with happiness. I cannot recommend another place more to spend time with loved ones and celebrate life.

Love it!

We have stayed here at least five times and it is great. The house is really nice, well stocked for cooking, beautiful views of the sound, and walking distance to everything in Lopez Village. Judi and Brian are very nice and helpful. Lopez island is very peaceful and chill. Great place to spend quality time with friends and family! Highly recommend!

Perfect little beach house

We loved this house! It was way bigger in person than we originally thought, it was super clean, it was fully loaded with kitchen stuff and the view from the back porch and back windows made it worth every penny! We loved the island and everything about our stay! We will definitely be back!

Perfect place to stay in the village

Wonderful beach house right in Lopez village and Judi is an excellent host. Sit on the large deck and watch the boats go by. The house is meticulously tidy, the beds are all comfortable, and the compact but functional kitchen has modern appliances and is well-stocked.

AMAZING house on Lopez!

I wish I could give this house more than five stars! To start with, the location can’t be beat. It is right on the water and a minute or less walk into Lopez Village where all the shops, restaurants, and grocery store are. It’s on a quiet dead-end road and extremely private and quiet. The house is even better in person than the pictures look. The lawn is perfectly manicured and the house is meticulously maintained. The ceilings are all vaulted which makes the house super spacious. The house is very tastefully decorated and the bedding and towels are top-notch. The owners have thought about every possible thing you could need while staying there and has the house fully stocked with these things. This house has its own private beach, and the owners have provided chairs, firewood, and everything you need to get a fire started as well as sticks to roast s’mores. The sunrises and sunsets from the huge patio are breathtaking. There were so many places we wanted to go and things we wanted to see on Lopez Island but we really didn’t want to leave the house as it was such an amazing place. We loved sitting out on the back patio and watching the boats come in and out of the bay, the seals swimming in the water, and the eagles soaring overhead. The hosts, Judi and Brian live right next door and totally gave us privacy, but were always there if we needed anything (which we didn’t because they had everything so well stocked and maintained). I would DEFINITELY stay in this house again.

Exceptional VRBO stay

Really terrific location, right downtown within walking distance to everything (no car needed), house has wide open views and was clean/spacious. Overall, really exceptional home to stay at for weekend!

Perfection!

The house is absolutely perfect. My family and I have stayed there multiple times and will return as often as we can. It’s warm and inviting with elegant amenities. This visit was for business and the folks who joined me for meetings didn’t want to leave. The home is large enough for an entire family and cozy enough for just one person.

We are both native Seattleites, graduated from UW, have 2 great kids and have been coming to Lopez for 50 years and we love it here. Our great grandparents homesteaded on Lopez in late 1800's. We split our time between Seattle and Lopez and plan to retire here. We love the laid back friendly community. This is the perfect relaxing getaway from the city. There's a reason they call it "slowpez".

The perfect house to create lifetime memories. The location in the village yet private and quiet and just steps from the water. The western facing view gives the best sunsets on the island. You get to watch the boats parade in and out of fishermans bay all day long. Ever changing sea scape and ecosystem. We feel very fortunate to be able to share this unique property with you.
