The Space:

Welcome to your home away from home here in Saugatuck! The first thing you'll notice is how sparkling clean the house is. That's because we partner the absolute best cleaning partners in the biz. Next you'll be amazed how much bigger the home is than it looks in the pictures.



The Main Floor is where the adults will spend most of their time, between the fully stocked kitchen, sitting area with smart TV, or my personal favorite the Four Seasons room with windows on three sides. There's also the king master suite and a queen bedroom on the Main Floor, easy for anyone who doesn't do well with stairs. Additional highlights:



~Seating for fifteen between the dining table and kitchen counter

~Large front porch w/ Adirondack chairs for sipping coffee in the morning

~Two car garage, driveway parking, basketball hoop

~Outdoor games (Bocce Ball, Corn Hole, Croquet, Horse Shoes, Whiffle Ball, Frisbee)

~Beach gear, including chairs, towels, and beach toys

~Patio area in backyard w/ couches and fire pit*

~Living room w/ wood burning fireplace*, 55" TV, and board games

~BBQ grill

~Fully stocked kitchen, including all the cooking utensils you will need, coffee station with drip and Keurig

~Half bath

~Laundry room

~Four Season Sun Room directly off the kitchen that looks out into beautiful wooded and landscaped yard. Sadly, the floor to ceiling windows can't be opened for the safety of our guests. Additionally, we've had too many noise complaints stemming from how well sound travels from this room with the windows open.

If you're tired or want to get some work done, head upstairs where you'll find the third and fourth bedrooms as well as a quiet office area.

If you're looking to play, head downstairs where you'll find activities that will keep your kids from ever having reason to say "I'm bored". This is also where the fifth bedroom is located.

The minimum age to book is 25 years old.



Guest Access:

Other than the locked “owner’s closet” that just has boring stuff in it anyway, nothing is off limits so make yourself at home. Feel free to use the 2-car garage, bikes, and backyard.



The Neighborhood:

There are so many great things to do in the area. Once you have made a reservation, you will receive a link to your customized guidebook, but here are a few of our favorites in the meantime:



☞ Take a hike at nearby Mount Baldhead Park

☞ Bike into town, grab a cup from Uncommon Coffee Roasters and explore the cute shops on Butler Street

☞ Head to Fenn Valley Vineyards for a wine tasting



Getting Around:

Most guests come and go by car, but if you’re flying in, Gerald R. Ford International Airport (GRR) is a 47 minute drive. There’s also the Holland Station for Amtrak. Once you’re here, most folks get around by car, but the bikes we have at the house are also a great way to get into town.



Other Things to Note:

Please remember that you’re staying in a house, not a hotel. Please treat the space, the surroundings, and the neighbors with respect. For us and our neighbors, the most important thing is to be seen but not heard, especially after dark. What that means is we adhere strictly to the quiet hours 10:00 PM - 8:00 AM. Noise and talking from the rear patio four seasons room with the door open carries very well, so if you are enjoying this space at any time, please keep your voices to a close, conversational volume. We have noise monitoring devices that will alert us if the noise is an issue. We also have neighbors who will alert us if noise becomes an issue.



Other than the need for our guests to play and enjoy the outdoor space at a reasonable volume, our house rules are pretty standard. No pets, no smoking, don't burn the house down. That kind of thing.



We DO NOT allow pets. We love animals and we know you love yours, but we cannot afford the cost to clean and maintain furniture and interiors associated with allowing pets.
