Cozy, recently remodeled log cabin. Perfect fishing spot w access to the east river. Huge backyard right on the river. 3 br/2bath. sleeps 6+ comfortably. plenty of room for parking multiple vehicles. right off cement creek rd so easy access for mountain biking, 4 wheeling, dirt biking right out the door. gold medal private fishing right in the backyard. (guests do have access to fish) backyard has grill and a large fire pit. complete with wi-fi and direct tv. Hot tub right on the river out back. there are 2 security cameras on the property. Both of them are outside. One covers the front yard and the other covers the area by the hot tub

Perfect setting

The setting is amazing - the sound of the river is the only noise you'll hear. We had campfires, sat in the hot tub, and just relaxed. Owner is fantastic as well - I'd highly recommend this place.

Amazing!

We loved this little cabin! It has plenty of room for any amount of people. It is away from a lot of people and has a great view of the mountains and river. Hot tub is huge so if you have a lot of people it’s perfect! Great cabin and great stay!

Wonderful unique cabin!

We had a wonderful time in this unique cabin. It was rustic, yet clean and was equipped with everything we could possibly need. The river was awesome and it was so relaxing listening to it while sitting in the hot tub. We will definitely be back!

The house was warm, comfortable and inviting!

My partner Kim and I had been looking forward to our stay at the rustic riverfront cabin for weeks and it did not disappoint! We enjoyed the eclectic feel the artwork and design of the cabin conveyed. It felt like we’re stayjng at someone’s home and not just a vacation rental. The views were amazing, the rooms were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed! Our dogs loved the property and managed to find a few friends in the neighborhood that would come over to play. We definitely plan on coming back! Thank you again Michael for allowing us to spend time in your home. It truly is quite special.

Great hot tub by the river!

We had a great time in Crested Butte! This cabin is just outside the town, so it's not a bad drive up to the mountain. The hot tub is AMAZING! It's right next to the river, so each day after skiing we'd jump in and enjoy a glass of wine while taking in the beautiful scenery. Mike was great to work with -- anything we needed, he was very responsive with information. Since he didn't have someone coming right after us, he allowed us to take our time checking out on the last day. That gave me a chance to get all the laundry done without having to worry with it the night before, which was a huge help!

Secret Stash South

If you ever visited the original Secret Stash on Elk Ave this cabin will give you the same feel. Nothing elaborate here but extremely cozy and comfortable. Tucked away yet right off the highway in South CB. Nice deck overlooking the river and a wonderful view. If you have dogs they will love it. Our Golden's loved running all over and playing in the river. The owner, Mike, is very attentive to any needs or questions you may have but also equally respectful of your privacy. This is a neat place that I hope to return to next summer.

Loved the location - right on the creek. Hot tub was awesome and used frequently!

The pictures are accurate...eclectic atmosphere. Worth noting that the loft is a small space and the mattress is not that great. Finding the right temperature setting was a challenge but if done right you will be plenty warm. I was a bit concerned on fire safety as no smoke detectors noted and lots of creative wiring. The plants were impressive. Overall a good experience but would have expected better finishings (eg, Door handle rather than nail in the pocket door, standard height sink) for the price.

FANTASTIC ! FANTASTIC !!!

We can not say enough good things about this Home or the owner Michael. The views are breathtaking ! We thoroughly enjoyed all of the art, everyday we would notice something we didn't see the day before ! It was such a treat. Did I mention the views from every window in the house ?! The hot tub right on the river was amazing ! The owner Michael was quick to respond to any question we had even though he was out of the country and later I realized that I was sending him messages in the middle of the night yet he still responded in a timely manner, he could not have been more hospitable ! Thank You for sharing your gorgeous home and we can not wait to come back

A true Colorado experience

I grew up in rural Colorado, and this property made me feel immediately at home. Its wooden spiral staircase, and its ladder to the loft, made it unusual amd wonderful... it is staying in a home, not just a house. Staying by the beautiful creek was another big plus, as the sound of it bubbling by gives it the sense of true mountain life, making the time there a little bit magical. The world artwork and big leafy plants also added a vibe that made the experience more meaningful than a typical sterile rental property. The beds were comfortable and super clean, and the kitchen had everything anyone could need. The bathrooms were a bit older/dated, which my parents commented on, but they were clean and had everything you could need. We did not use the hot tub, but it looked awesome and beautifully located. We wanted to be in CB South, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. We would rent it again!

Nice house

Typically when we have vacationed in Crested Butte it was in a private cabin on Lake Irwin. This is no longer an option so we decided to try this cabin out on the river. It is not far from downtown CB which we really liked. It was easy to run into town for dinner or shopping. The cabin itself is very nice and modern - especially compared to what we've stayed in before. I didn't realize that the kitchen is on the top floor and you access it by a somewhat narrow spiral staircase. If you have an elderly family member or in our case, a very large dog, it can be somewhat challenging to go up and down. The kitchen, bedroom, loft and sitting area on that floor though are very nice and open. The shower water pressure is awesome and we really liked the large bathroom setup. The "master" bedroom is on the bottom floor with easy access to the river and hot tub which was great. Probably our favorite things we enjoyed was the hot tub at night. So nice to sit out under the stars and listen to the river. It is very nicely maintained and large enough for all 6 of us to hang out in. The yard isn't as nice. It would have been nice to have maybe more grassy areas or at least a deck on the bottom floor. Lots of dirt which makes it hard to keep pups clean after hanging out in the water. There was a dog from across the river that came over as soon as he saw us out. Very nice dog but we had 4 of our own so it was a bit much. We took him back across the river once and my son spoke with the owner, but it didn't really help - Pete just came back. He is a SUPER nice dog but If you have pets that don't like other dogs, this could be an issue. Also, if you bring your dogs I would keep them in sight and not wander into the neighbors yard. Just a word of advice.

Awesome place in to stay in Crested Butte.

We had a great stay and the place was perfect. It was a short drive to town and to the mountain, and the house had plenty of room for us. The hot tub was great, and we can't wait to come back again!

Peaceful and relaxing mountain escape

We stayed for a long weekend and can’t wait to come back. The property owner, Michael, was easy to reach and responded to questions quickly. The house was very clean and the hot tub was everyone’s favorite.

An amazing eclectic decor that tells stories of travels and peoples

Stunning views of the river, close to excellent and beautiful hiking, and easy quick trip to Created Butte for dinner. Would rent again in a second.

Fantastic hideaway!

The property is perfect for a family getaway. It’s remote, but only a short drive 7-8 minutes into town. We hiked near by, my husband also fished right off the property which he loved. The house has all the amenities you need. We already recommended this house to other family members. Thank you!

Great experience

The owner was great and easy to communicate with. House was clean and as described. Great location with easy access to Crested Butte and Gunnison. We took UTVs on trail rides everyday and cement creek was some of the best ridding. Great trout fishing everywhere in this area. My kids really enjoyed having the river so close. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

River retreat

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely log home on the river and especially enjoyed our views of Red Mountain every morning. The hot tub was also fantastic after a full day of hiking, fishing or ATV'ing. The owner is fantastic, very easy to communicate with attentive.

Best House In CB!

If your looking for a warm cozy place to call home for a few days, this is the place. Some days it was even hard to leave the house because of how much we love this home. The home has great views and amenities such as the fire pit, hot tub and large TV in the living room. The property owner was very attentive and made the check-in and our process easy. Further we love the location of this home as it is private, but just a few miles from town. I would recommend this home to anyone looking to stay in CB!

Eclectic

Enjoyed staying in this home on the river! Eclectic international decorations adorn the entire home. Very interesting. Had a little hiccup getting the keys from the lockbox, but the property manager was readily available (at about 9pm) and everything went smoothly after that :)

Didn’t want to leave!

What a perfect mountain property. The views from the deck are absolutely stunning...perfect for morning coffee or an evening cocktail. Downtown Crested Butte is a short car ride away, and there is easy access to a lot of great hikes. We cannot wait to come back!
