Happiness isā€¦. a fun-filled riverfront vacation! Look no further this is the perfect family vacation home. Located on the banks of the New River close to Jefferson this three-bedroom, two bath home sleeps up to 10.

Inside this two-level home the main level offers a cozy living room with satellite TV and gas log fireplace. The warm country kitchen and dining area is tastefully decorated with mix and match antiques and modern accents which has brought a feeling of being right at home. Just down the hall you will find two bedrooms and a full bath with tub and shower. The master bedroom features a king bed and doors that open to the deck and view of the river below. The guest bedroom offers a comfy queen bed.

Downstairs youā€™ll love the den with TV and fireplace, ping pong table for the family to enjoy, full bath and another guest bedroom with two sets of bunks.

On the lower-level deck, youā€™ll find a brand-new hot tub for ultimate outdoor relaxation and enjoyment as you take in the beautiful river views.

So, come sit on the open deck and enjoy the cool mountain breezes. The sights, sounds and smells of summer are as much as part of the ambiance as the comfortable easy chairs and well-used game table. From morning coffee to casual suppers and long cheery evenings with family and friends youā€™re sure to make memories of a lifetime.

For some winter fun, head to one of our three most popular ski resorts: Appalachian Ski Mtn, Sugar Mtn, or Beech Mtn.

Note: Pets allowed with a $75 per stay per pet. Airbnb/VRBO will only automatically charge one pet. The host will add an additional $75 for each pet if you are bringing more than one pet.

Thanksgiving Trip

We enjoyed our stay! Location was great! Only complaint was bunk bed room.. it was really hard to open and close doors, had to be done from the inside to open, as bunk beds block door. We had 11 year olds staying in there so it was okay, but just warning for those with younger children. Would definitely stay here again!

Great location and views for river tubing.

Great place to stay on the river with great views and close to West Jefferson. Hot tub was a plus and the game room was nice. Spent more time in the river tubing and in the downtown west Jefferson for dinners and shopping. The house was not as clean as I thought it would be. Floors and under tables and corners of rooms were dirty. We had to wash sheets as they all looked dirty and in the bunk beds was a Smirnoff Ice behind the pillow. The sheets looked much better after washing. Then hot tub had sand in it when we uncovered but overall nice hot tub and great location of it. Grass needed cut so you could enjoy more of the outdoor area between home and river. Definitely worth tubing the river but this home was pricey for the cleanliness of it.

Beautiful location

Really beautiful location. House was ok. Sleeps 10 but only had bathroom linens for 6, which was inconvenient. Would definitely stay here again!

The property was great, just as described. Location was perfect for Tubing at Zalooā€™s. Had a couple great evenings by the fire. Only negative was the cleaners missed some items in the basement while cleaning.

But when we got there the lot beside of the house had a mini camping area that was not in the description.When your on the porch or in the hot tub, you have people almost in the back yard. Great part of the river

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The road in the front of the house was very busy, but we knew that before we rented. The house is old but again we knew that before we rented. The back deck and backyard were perfect. One day we started at the house and floated down the river and another day we started up the river and floated down to the house. There were great spots in both directions not far to leave a car. We would stay here again.

This property is located on a busy highway with a very short driveway. If you're bringing pets, they would need to stay leashed for safety. Also not shown in the pictures are three rustic camp sights next to the property, significantly diminishing any sense of privacy for all parties. Everything at the property was operational (plumbing, electrical, HVAC) except the vacuum cleaner. However, the state of the kitchen was surprising. The interior of the oven was dirty, drawers were stuffed full of utensils and junk, and I felt like I had to wash everything before using it. We own a vacation rental that is deep cleaned and organized at least annually. It did not feel like something similar was done at this house. The grass had not been mowed in what looked like three to four weeks causing concerns about ticks, snakes, and stepping in holes when attempting to walk down to the river, which I did. Although we brought this to the management company's attention, this was not remedied during our stay and made the yard impossible to enjoy.For the price, I wish I had paid closer attention to the previously published negative reviews.
