Amazing Waterfront Home! Westside of San Juan Island!! Whale View Haven!

This remodeled home that sleeps 6, located on the Westside of San Juan Island, is the perfect getaway for groups or couples wanting to relax and enjoy what the island has to offer.

Enjoy watching wildlife off the water-view deck as the local birds enjoy the bird feeders, and maybe spot a harbor seal playing in the water below. The renovated gourmet kitchen boasts 2 ovens, stone counter tops, stainless steel appliances and fully stocked cookware. The kitchen is situated to enjoy the expansive views while preparing your meals. You may catch a glimpse of a passing Orca Whale while pouring your morning coffee!

The primary bedroom located on the main floor has a King size bed and a grand view of the water. The picture-window in the primary bedroom can be opened up to enjoy a cool breeze as you wake up. The main floor queen bedroom also has a view of the water. Between the two main-floor bedrooms in the hallway you will find the full bathroom.

The downstairs extra sleeping room feels like a separate wing of the home with a sitting area, an attached bathroom, and a Queen-Sized bed overlooking the water.

A perfect getaway for a few couples or small family with older children. Families with small children should use caution with this high bank waterfront.

This house is equipped with mini-split heat/cool systems in the main level TV/Dining area and in the downstairs area only.

There is NO Cell Coverage at this property. Long Distance is provided. The Wifi supplied at this property is adequate enough for making calls on your personal cell.

**For safety reasons the wood burning stove is not available for guest use.

Pets are not allowed at this property.

Special stay on San Juan

Fantastic House would absolutely stay again! Fabulous location to everything on the island! Full kitchen was great, living space comfy, views amazing, beds cozy. Bathrooms clean-plenty of linens. Many serving dishes for in house meals. birds and deer a plenty.limited opening windows. limited clothing space in drawers in two bedrooms & no closet in 3rd bedroom and second bedroom closet filled with homeowner belongings. The location is everything when coming to san juan island! amazing views from most rooms. very comfortable stay, plenty of room for me and 2 teens. well stocked kitchen and plenty of hang out space. we will be back

Perfect location

The house gave you easy access to all the parks and marinas. Sitting on the deck was peaceful and rejuvenating. Seeing the Orcas one evening was a plus as well. Highly recommend.

Million Dollar Views!!

Girls trip to San Juan Island was perfect with the lovely whale viewing house on the west side of the island. The relaxing views of the water, whales, sunsets, birds and ships going by kept us entertained for hours. The house is in a quiet neighborhood, well laid out and had everything we needed for our four day stay. I would highly recommend this property!

Absolutely Fantastic!

Super clean and comfortable property, amazing view, right up the Strait from Lime Kiln State Park. We saw two pods of orcas, J and L, a Minke whale, sea otters, porpoises, and lots of jumping salmon. We truly hope we get the opportunity to visit again next summer.

Waterfront Retreat

Great location, nice, clean place. We had plenty of room for all six of us; however, the hot water is very limited. Showers were about five minutes. Other than the water issue, I would recommend this rental.

Excellent September Vacation

The house is located with an excellent view of Haro Strait and the deck is great for an evening meal. We've vacationed several times on San Juan, Orcas, and Lopez, and think this was one of the best places we've stayed. My only caution might be renting this house during warmer months. Almost none of the windows open, so towards the end of the day the west facing living room/bedrooms can get pretty warm.

Absolute perfection

This property is gorgeous inside and out. The floorplan allows lots of space for the family to spread out, while still feeling cozy. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need and the view making cooking meals a dream. The hosts thought of every detail to make our stay an absolute dream. From toiletries to more than ample towels, staying here truly felt like being home. Even the bird feeders are well appointed! Access to the water's edge would be a challenge for little ones, but for our grown family, it provided hours of tide pool exploring. Island cellular service is spotty, but the internet at the house allowed a fast connection. The property is a very short drive to Roche and Friday Harbors, but is tucked away and feels very private and secluded. We spent hours researching to find the perfect house for our daughter's graduation celebration vacation, and this was definitely the one.
