Two rooms include open-plan kitchen, living room, room with newly renovated bathroom with spa shower (Jun 2018).
Surface area: 52 square metres/559 square feet WITH AC

Our nice and sunny apartment is located on the Pest side, in the sixth district, near to Liszt Ferenc sq and Oktogon sq. Fully furnished and equipped with washing machine, refrigerator, freezer, cable, TV, Internet /Wireless /AC /Travel Baby bed on a silent street, close to metro, tram, night bus.

The apartment is located on the 4th floor of an elegant, stylish building with elevator, which has been renovated inside and out recently. Kitchen is fully equipped, bathroom is newly renovated (June 2018) with spa shower. Two minutes from bus/tram/metro station, or two minutes on foot with fitness center, post office, shops, church etc. (for the urgent demand you find three 24/7 shops some walking minutes away).

The beautifully furnished apartment is conveniently located in downtown Budapest within walking distance to the world-famous Budapest State Opera House and the Franz Liszt (square) Music Academy. Convenient to many of Budapest's great restaurants, museums, theatres, Saint Stephen Basilica and Parliament buildings to name just a few...
The apartment is quiet and fully equipped with all comforts! for one to four persons.
One from the best you can find in the main street center Budapest, and for people who want to stay in a wonderful place!

Additional services: bed linen provided, towels provided, cleaning service available.
Everything included: Linen Towels, Pots and plates, glasses, electricity and water bills. No other hidden costs!

Airport pick up by FOTAXI:
From 1 September 2013 a new Taxi Decree was introduced in Hungary regulating the price* of the taxis at a fixed tariff in addition to the one-off basic fee and waiting fee. A ride from the Airport to the city center should typically cost as of May 2022 around Base tarif: 1000 HUF/km , and 400 HUF/km (waiting time 100 HUF/min) depending on traffic conditions. New rate update as of 9th of May 2022.
Taxi drivers speaking at least one foreign language are in service with large, category ‘A’ cars younger than five years. All cars are equipped with a POS terminal, therefore credit cards are also accepted.
Reservations can be made in person at the FOTAXI booths located at the exits at Terminals 2A and 2B. At the taxi rank in front of the stands, taxis are parking continuously waiting for passengers.

Great apartment and wonderful hospitality

The apartment was perfect for my family of three and the location couldn't be better. The hosts were the ultimate in hospitable and I would definitely rent again and come back to beautiful Budapest

Perfect for two

Stayed here on the busy Sziget festival week and couldn’t have asked for a better place. Close to everything, easy contact with host, and just an overall comfy stay. One bed, one pull out that was extremely comfortable. The only issue we had was the shower was a bit confusing. But it was manageable. Thanks for the awesome stay.

Great experience !

We had a great experience ! The appartement was really nice and clean. The airco and the bathroom are fantastic! We stayed with 4 people and that was just enough. The sleepbank is a little small when you have long legs, but the other bed is great ! We really enjoyed our stay. The communication with the housekeeper is also very clear and nice. We would definately recommed it !

The confirmation was exactly as we wanted it to be. (sorry for missing to confirm this from my side). The flat is fully equipped, including the kitchen (looking and cooking), bath room, and bedroom (plenty of space in- and out-side the armoire). Parking was relaxed during year change. But put your car away (e.g. Pollack Garage 10€/day). Everything is in walking distance, including opera and the best viola maker of B. BTW, it was a good idea to keep all doors in the anteroom shut. All staircase doors to the court are kept open in winter.

Lift breakdown

Good things: the apartment is very clean. The mother of the owner is really nice. The apartment has many things, frying pans, crokery, pottery, etc. Bad things; fourth floor and lift did not work in the whole stay. The lift did not work when we booked the flat and the owner did not alert us. We asked for a compensation and the owner did not attend the request because she said it was not her responsibility. Fourth floor without lift should have other price. Attention! Ask for the lift before booking. Doorgate smells very bad due to the garbage containers.

All the conveniences of home!

What a perfect location for our 12-day stay in Budapest! We could walk to major attractions or take the bus, metro or trolley to get anywhere around the city. Shopping for a few grocery items and great restaurants--just around the corner. The apartment was lovely, very clean and well organized. We had all the comforts of home and at the end of each exhausting day, we would return to a very comfortable bed and a great air conditioner. And wifi was reliable and strong. Alexandra's mother welcomed us at the front door and gave us a thorough explanation of everything in the apartment and explained how things worked--modern appliances throughout and a beautiful, new bathroom. On our departure, we had an early morning flight and she was there again to pick up the keys and make sure everything went well for us. Communication with Alexandra before our trip was excellent. She responded immediately via email to our questions and provided us with any information we might need. We highly recommend this property and, if we have the opportunity to return, we will surely select this apartment as our preferred place to stay.

Good place to stay in Budapest - nice renter ladies

Dear Piroska & Alexandra We were happy that we were allowed to check in so late in the eve. Piroska explained everything to us with the calmness of an experienced mother, willingly and patiently answered all our additional questions about the area, food and e.g. Thermal Baths. The location of the apartment is ideal for exploring Budapest. It is conveniently located on the edge of the center in a side street. After midnight it is very quiet. The folding bed is suitable for people who simply need an undemanding bed for their sleep. This does not satisfy pretentious sleeping habits, it is simply useful. The double bed in the regular bedroom is very comfortable. The folding bed converts from a sofa into a bed and is located in the living room, either the living room or the second bedroom, which also houses the kitchen. It would have been nice if there had been some water in the fridge upon arrival. The tap water is drinkable, but with chlorine added and not a delicacy. And for all those who are curious and open-minded, here a special tip: there is a small bar just around the corner, an absolutely magical place. Nice people, sophisticated, unbelievable what and who is there and a very idiosyncratic furniture. It reminded me of the movie "Bell, Book and Candle" with Kim Novak. This magical place in the film came to my mind when we drank our last glass of wine that day there... only the magical cat was missing compared to the film, but the quantum of magic was completely there!

Stay in Central Budapest

A compact very well equipped apartment, thoughtfully supplied with most things you might need except that if you want to use the washing machine then bring your own detergent. The apartment is very well situated in a quiet street but near to the Metro and bus stops and also a very good, reasonably priced, restaurant, Menza ( it’s very busy so best to book a table). Also very convenient for the Opera House and the Liszt Ferenc concert hall. To sum up, an excellent place to stay but probably best for a couple rather than more people.

Alexandra's place was fantastic!

The property was clean, comfortable and in a great location. The property has everything you need to make your vacation comfortable and easy. There are many great restaurants nearby and lots of shopping options. Public transit is close by and easy to use. We will return to this property in the future.

Excellent location, but not really 2 bedroom, and no laundry detergent.

The apartment is perfectly located and very clean. There are two beds, but not two bedrooms. One bed is a fold-out futon in the living room that isn't very comfortable. There was no detergent for the washing machine and we were told it wasn't provided. I'm not sure why it would be listed as an amenity if you can't use it. Overall, no major issues, but minor inconveniences that could be avoided with a proper listing.

Great location in Budapest.

Location was great and the flat accommodated us well. Marble shower was dangerously slippery without a handicap bar. Linens were very good and the bed was quite comfortable. Would stay again.

très bon séjour à Budapest

Appartement propre, élégant et très confortable. Literie très reposante. Emplacement idéal pour faire toutes les visites par le métro, en bus ou à pieds, tout en n'étant pas directement sur une grande artère de circulation. Pour se préparer un petit déjeuner, le supermarché SPAR est à 150m, pour un repas délicieux et de très bon rapport qualité prix le restaurant MENZA est à 60m du logement. L'accueil est chaleureux, et la maman d'Alexandra fait de son mieux pour comprendre et se faire comprendre de ceux qui ne parlent pas hongrois. Adresse à recommander, surtout si on n'a pas l'intention d'aller à Budapest pour s'installer devant sa télévision.

Lovely Stay

Convenient location, spotlessly clean apartment, brighter than it shows on pictures. Piroska was very helpful in getting us situated and communication was quick and easy. Lots of little touches to make our stay easier. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Fabulous apartment in great location!

Beautiful historic building and lovely, well equipped apartment. The owners mother is delightful and we wished we spoke Hungarian so we could really chat with her. Everything you need is in this very clean, modern apartment. Great location so easy to get on transit, near lots of great restaurants, and easy walk to many tourist destinations. Check in and out was easy. Highly recommend.

Well Equipped in Excellent Location

Everything we look for in an apartment downtown in a major city. Property manager was very helpful and informative. Apartment had everything we needed and was newly renovated and clean. Great location for walking everywhere we needed and wanted to go.

Beautiful modern apartment on very quiet corner in best Budapest location

We really enjoyed our short time in beautiful very modern stylish and very quiet apartment. Everything in the apartment looks brand new, and Alex's mother, who manages all the details, did a great job of introducing us to the apartment and the neighborhood. Definitely make sure that you visit her recommended nearby bistro 'Ket Szerecsen' and try their wonderful chocolate souffle, its worth a trip to budapest in itself. Also look up a wonderful nordic bakery called Nor/Ma over by kalvan square, their cardamon buns are also worth the trip. Budapest is a wonderful walking city and this apartment is perfectly placed to easily get to anywhere, just hop on the M1 metro that's only two blocks away. Definitely get a ticket and validate before entering the Metro station because when we were there there were ticket checkers at every station we went to, and they mean business. We highly recommend the apartment, the food, and the city a wonderful place to spend a vacation. Please note that you will need to sign forms when you arrive that commit you to paying up to EU450 if you lose the key to the appartment, I'm not sure this is enforceable, but a bit of an eye shocker when you first get to the apartment. Also if you decide to leave early in the day, you'll need to pay a EU15 fee to ensure someone is there to check you out, not extraordinary, but just something to add into the total cost when comparing apartments.
