A deco jewel in the center of Budapest. Apartment located on the 4th floor of a historic building (Viktoria Palota) with a panoramic view of the Great Synagogue of Budapest and a stone's throw from ErzsƩbet tƩr.
The location of the apartment is central and close to all the main monuments, shops, bars and restaurants. The building is located between the DeƔk Ferenc tƩr square and Astoria with several metro lines, buses and trams to reach anywhere in the city.
The view from the living room for reasons of force majeure is not assured in the case of work on the facade or an advertisement, causes that do not depend on us. The only assured view, as described in the announcement, is that of the Great Synagogue.

Excellent location right off the metro (Budapest offers free travel on all metro for seniors citizens) Very secure. It has three separate locks to get into the apartment between the street level and the apartment. Large comfortable living room and Beds. All appliances functioned well. We were all disappointed that the view was greatly reduced. we could not see out of the very large living room windows that are pictured on the VRBO ad (it was the feature that motivated us to rent the apartment.). The owners of this building all agreed to have a very large advertisement hung outside in front of three stories of windows in trade for building maintenance. All understandable, but not the fact that he didnā€™t change the picture in the VRBO ad.If we left the curtains open, we had a picture of a very large womanā€™s head looking into the room. Then, at night the spotlights came on. The second concern was that the en suite tub was very unsafe to get in, was difficult to shower and required excessive care to prevent flooding the floor. It was 24 inches high and 12ā€ wide and didnā€™t have a shower but a hand held bar shaped spray. There was no plug for the drain rendering the tub unusable. Any water from the spray that hit the walls or its half shower door drained out of the tub instead of into it. There is no grab bar and is slippery making it difficult for older persons to negotiate safely. The owner was very responsive to our requests and apologized for the advertisement.

The property is excellently located next to bus, street car, subway and main train station in Budapest. There is an Aldi grocery store only a couple blocks away and the community is well lite and is very safe. The apartment is beautiful with a lot of custom wood working, excellent heating and air conditioning in all the rooms. Bathrooms are very nice and spacious with a shower in one and a soaking tub in the other. The kitchen was fully stocked with all you cooking needs you may every want but there are so many great resturants near the apartment you many decide not to cook. This is one of the nicest apartment I have stayed in over the last 15 years of renting places to stay when traveling. You cannot go wrong staying here. Enjoy your stay.

Great host extremely helpful, let us into the apartment and gave us a tour, so we knew how to operate things. Beds are extremely comfortable, Air conditioning worked great. Highly recommend. Steps away from the Great synagogue, and a must to go for a tour.

Trip in Budapest

The apartment is beautiful and spacious. The location is also very central and convenient, with lots of restaurants nearby, walking distance to major tourist sites, and 1 minute walk to subway line and buses. Krisztian is very good in communication. He took care of many of the requests we had. We stayed for 4 weeks and Krisztian went out of his way to install Netflix for us to enjoy. Overall, we had a great trip!

We loved the apartmentā€”it was comfortable and had everything we needed. The only downside was the large windows, which were covered by an advertising awning not shown in the online images. It masked the city view and remained lit in the evening, but we had seen mentions of this in other reviews. That said, the blackout blinds worked perfectly at night, and the double glazing kept out all the inevitable city noise. Beyond that, the apartment was a fantastic base for our week-long stay. The location was idealā€”easy to explore the city on foot or via public transport, with plenty of cafĆ©s and a couple of convenience stores nearby. The 100E airport transfer bus stops 5 minutes walk away and runs every few minutes, which was ideal. All in all we had a great stayā€” I would recommend you give the apartment a go.

Absolutely Fabulous Stay

We LOVED this property! It looks as though it was designed by an architect. Such beautiful, artistic touches. The location was great. We loved the cappuccino and pastries that was just next door. It was near many wonderful restaurants. I HIGHLY recommend this property!

Excellent stay. Lovely apartment exactly as it looks on site. Warm, well equipped and perfectly located to walk to all tourist sites. The interior of this property is beautiful; however, it is in a very unsafe building with broken windows. We rented this apartment from 12/24 to 12/31/2024. We only stayed there on the 24th, 25th and 29th because we did side trips to other countries. On the 30th, while we were out to get food, the apartment got forcibly broken into. All our passports, global entry cards, money and personal belonging, electronic devices and all the souvenirs that we bought on our side trips were stolen. The Hungarian Police was not helpful neither were the property owners. The property does not have any renter's liability insurance. Therefore, all the additional that we incurred, i.e., emergency passport fees, loss of my office laptop, our personal belongs and travel ticket exchange cost have been denied by Generali Insurance. I have escalated this matter to all the highest levels on US and Hungarian governments. The emotional trauma and my young children and my wife are beyond imagination. As a responsible person, i caution future renters of this property to take note of our awful experience. Worse, the property without any remorse, ask us to vacate the location on the 31st without providing us a place to stay knowing that we had no documents to travel back to the US. They told us that there were other renters who were checking in that day without telling them that a crime had been committed on the property the night before. Shameful.........

The property is beautiful & looks exactly like the photos. It was clean & warm. The location is excellent and easily walkable to main tourist areas. Lots of excellent bars and restaurants nearby. Perfect location

Great location in Pest that enables access to multiple districts within 15-30 minutes walking (and close to the metro and multiple bus/trolly lines too). Pictures are accurate, host is lovely, and yes there is a billboard over the main windows, but its semi-transparent and doesn't hurt the view. Ensure blackout shutters are closed and the bright lights highlighting the advert arent an issue. Clean, quiet (with the exception of the occasional siren which is expected in a city), this apartment sets you up well for a comfortable trip. Yes, the master shower might be slightly different than what you're used to, but it works well and if it's a real problem for you, the second bathroom has a rainshower head. There wasn't a plug for the bath that we could find, but if thats something you need, a quick note to the host will give you a quick answer. There is an elevator on site, extra throw pillows in the closet, kitchen is set up well. Would stay again.

Spacious Apartment with Character

My husband and I stayed at this grand suite for 5 nights in September. First, the apartment was spotless, and the soaring ceilings spanned the entire flat. The views from both the living room and bedroom were immense, and we were fortunate to have a few beautiful sunsets to watch during our stay. Although we did not use the second bedroom, the master bed was very comfortable, and the blackout shutters and shades kept it peaceful and dark in the bedroom. Also, despite being at the intersection of two bustling streets, we heard no traffic noise and slept soundly every night. To top it off, the couch in the living room was actually really comfy as well. There was great water pressure for the shower (we used the guest bath because of the rain shower head), and the kitchen was well stocked, with complimentary water, coffee, and wine to get us through our first few days. Within quick walking distance was a Spar grocery store, which made it easy to replenish what we needed. Krisztian, the manager, was easily accessible and extremely accommodating as well. Our travels this go-round spanned 5 countries and 7 hotels/VRBOs, and I have to say that this accommodation was one of the best! We would definitely stay here again and will easily recommend it to friends and family.

Wonderful suite was really wonderful!

I canā€™t imagine a better location in Budapest! All sights were very walkable. The living space was large and the two bedrooms were on opposite sides of the apartment. So there was a great place to hang out in the middle. It was very hot when we were there and the air conditioning worked well. Would loved to stay there again!

Beautiful apartment

The apartment is beautiful! The location is ideal for seeing all the sights. Krisztain, the host, was wonderful to deal with. The only negative is the primary master bath has a funky shower set up. You had to hold the water sprayer and water got all over the tub surface. You couldn't have a relaxing shower. But other than that, I highly recommend this unit.

Spacious, clean and well located

Loved staying here. The apartment is very spacious and the bedrooms are on separate sides which my teenager loved. There is also bathrooms on both sides so that was super convenient. You have everything you need to be comfortable and a full kitchen. The location is great, you can walk to pretty much everything. We recommend!

Great location

The apartment design is great (Comfort perfekt). Many attractions are within walking distance. The nightlife in the area is great. The landlord is helpful and accommodating. Only the parking situation could be impoved.
