To the ground floor, guests can easily soak up a spot of holiday indulgence to the living area, which oozes a carefree ambience in which to unwind and entertain with guests. Surrounding the ambient warmth of the open fireplace, the stylish leather sofa suite enables guests to cosy up in the winter months and enjoy a favourite film, to the SAT TV provided.

Next to the sitting area, a fabulous dining area for 8 is adorned by a striking light feature and spectacular lake views; for that instant ‘wow factor’. An iPod docking station is also on hand to make sure your dinner party hits the right note.

Leading through from the dining area, the fully-equipped contemporary kitchen diner is suitably stylish; with chic slate grey cabinets complimented by integrated appliances that include a cooker hob, oven, frdige, freezer, dishwasher alongside a kettle, coffee machine and toaster.

The villa was simply made for entertaining; with the basement home to a striking wine cellar. Here guests can savour the perfect wine tasting evening; alongside the ambience of a roaring fire and candlelight.

Outside, the private sunny garden offers a lovely setting for hosting evening drinks at sunset and for savouring unforgettable lake view moments in the summertime, with an ‘alfresco’ BBQ or two.

A contemporary bathroom fitted with a power shower features to the ground floor, whilst upstairs a chic family bathroom with bath tub and overhead shower perfectly complements the principal sleeping accommodation. Modern laundry facilities also feature within the villa, for added convenience.

Outside, the tranquil lake view garden paints a scene of heavenly holiday bliss; with a sunny terrace and large lawn to enjoy.

A private garage easily enables guests to keep a car here, whilst the nearby amenities of Menaggio are just a 6 minute drive away. The beautiful central lake town offers a wealth of supermarkets, delicatessens and grocery shops to complement a self-catering stay; whilst the array of authentic Italian restaurants and charming lake view cafes here provide the perfect excuse for soaking up a relaxed day in the sun.

The picturesque lakefront promenade leads to the family-friendly ‘Lido di Menaggio’; which is home to a paddling pool, a full-size pool, a beach lined with sun loungers, a volleyball court, a park, pizzeria, cocktail bar and more. Mini golf and another children’s park provide added amusement for younger guests, whilst the power boat rental, lake swimming opportunities and kayak rental here all provide the ideal way to get out on the water.

A host of boutique shops will keep shopping fans busy in the morning, whilst the nearby resort town of Bellagio (just a ferry stop away) and the fashionable Swiss lake capital of Lugano (reachable by bus or car) offers the perfect excuse to shop till you drop!

Menaggio provides the perfect base from which to explore the other famous resort towns of Varenna and Bellagio on the eastern shore, and is also within easy reach from the popular ski resorts of Piani di Bobbio and Madesimo.
