it was great to have the family come and visit with friends and enjoy the beach and trails. it worked well using our place as a base. we would have them stay again for sure

Mark was visiting family up here so we saw very little of him But the suite was left, clean and tidy, and so we have no complaints for sure We were very happy to be able to offer our suite so he could meet up with his extended family We would love to have him come visit again

The apartment was really comfortable and the location was very quiet. The hosts are super friendly, the bed was very co fortable and tne kitchen was well appointed. We'd definitely stay there again.

It was lovely to have Sheryl and her daughter come and spend some time in our suite. They had a great visit to our coast and hopefully they will come again.

Nice little getaway

Beautiful yard and place to stay. Marilyn and Micheal were super friendly and helpful when asked what to see and where to eat. Would stay there again.

It was a pleasure to have them in our one bedroom suite. They were quite interested in the Coast and wanted to see as much as possible. We would definitely have them come and stay again.

It was great to offer the suite so Casey could complete the work needed to for his job. We would have him back any time for work or just to have a holiday. He was hardly here and was very respectful and tidy of the suite and its contents.

The hosts were so kind and helpful, we were blessed to have them hosting us. Very comfortable and spacious, truly felt like home away from home.The deck has a beautiful view, very serene, and at night the stars out were amazing!Short drive into town, very convenient.Hope to be back in the spring!!

Great place from which to explore Gibsons and the Sunshine Coast. Marilynne and Michael were wonderful hosts - they were very informative and welcoming, and their suite was well appointed and had everything we needed. We will be back!

It was great to have the three of them come and spend some time here on the Coast. I think there is still more for them to see when they decide to come back ! They were great guests and we would love for them to visit again.

Good location, easy to get to and to access other points of interest from. Lovely to sit on the porch in the evenings and mornings. Quiet location.

Great time in Gibson’s

Very grateful to have found this wonderful spot so close to many great beaches and downtown Gibson’s. The hosts were kind and accommodating- checking in to make sure we had all we needed and to help us with directions, if need be. We particularly appreciated the kitchen space to make nice meals. Thank you so much!

Great hosts, lovely setting, well appointed space.

Very friendly, helpful hosts who provided lots of info about the area. Quiet spot, well located in Gibsons and very spacious for two people - one of us used the bedroom, the other the living room pull out and we were both very comfortable. Deck was great to sit out on and admire the view. Hosts have thought of anything you might need from kitchen gadgets to board games. I would stay here again in a heartbeat - hope I get a chance to return soon.

Comfortable, very clean, roomy

The very descriptive 5 star review two years ago, "Spacious and peaceful" by Chris B., is still spot-on. I'll add that we had one young adult sleeping on the pull out sofa bed (said it was fine), and a loaf of bread we bought at the SuperValu supermarket bakery was unexpectedly amazing.

Hi Sharan sorry about the mix up of the fridge but it all got worked out sooner than later. The coffee pot plastic handle just gave out. Now we have a new one ! Hope you had a safe trip home. take care Marilynne

Treetop breather

Exactly what was needed; quiet location to regroup and call home even for a few short days. Friendly hosts, comfortable beds and very well stocked kitchen. Close to IGA to grab groceries, cidery just up the street. Some of the best beaches within 5 min drive, close to lower village and access to shops and restaurants (Mad Hen is our go to). Big expansive deck that we used to chill, read, paint by number and star gaze at night. Highly recommend.

The hosts were great and check in went smoothly. The unit had a well-equipped kitchen and was quite spacious. The furniture was fairly comfortable and it was great to have a washer/dryer in the unit. Something not mentioned in the description was the long and very steep driveway, which my car could not handle as it kept hitting bottom. There were also stairs down to the unit with a gate that opened towards the stairs. It was very awkward to get my luggage and bike up and down the stairs.

The property is hidden, and google maps doesn’t send us to the right place initially. The host Marilynne called me worried that we got lost, we got! She was helpful since the beggining by sending us the instruction to her house, we got lost because we trusted google maps! Anyway, the house was clean and have everything we needed for our stay. They even have a barbecue in case you want to use it!We had a great time at Sunshine Coast and both Marilynne and Michael were amazing with our little interaction since we were out exploring most of the time.

Great hosts, great rental

Michael and Marilynne we're, hands down, the most helpful hosts I've ever encountered in years of staying at vacation rental properties. Noting my mobility concerns when I arrived, they unpacked everything in my car and carried it all down the outdoor stairs to the rental suite for me! The suite is clean, well stocked with the basics and very comfortable. It has its own huge deck and a view out to the water. I couldn't be happier with my choice of rental!
