Enjoy two of the world's finest resorts, the Mauna Kea and the Hapuna Prince, at this 2 bedroom 2 bath luxury 2nd floor condo at the "Kumulani at the Uplands" of the Mauna Kea resort on the Big Island of Hawaii. This peaceful gated community is on the Hapuna/Mauna Kea Resort property. The condo sits above the 4th fairway of the Hapuna Prince golf course from which you can enjoy unobstructed beautiful ocean views, golf course views, and sunsets. The holiday fireworks shows are spectacular from the 400 foot wrap-around lanai. This condo has everything needed for a wonderful stay on the beautiful Kohala Coast of the Big Island of Hawaii. Enjoy Hawaii paradise at the top rated beaches in the world, Hapuna Beach and Mauna Kea Beach. These are the only large white sand beaches on the Big Island. Both beaches are only a couple of minutes drive from the condo.

- Located 30 minutes from Kona International Airport (KOA) with many upscale restaurants and shops either on the resort grounds or within a short drive.

This condo sleeps 4. The master suite has a king bed, en-suite bathroom with shower, large tub, and walk-in closet, and beautiful ocean views. The guest bedroom has a California King bed and a separate bath. A cabinet of books and cookbooks is provided as well as a "well stocked" kitchen that a gourmet chef will love.

Available with your reservation is an extension of our membership in the popular Club at Mauna Kea Resort, which allows you to enjoy the amenities of both luxury Hotels located here – Mauna Kea Beach Hotel and Hapuna Prince Beach Hotel. You may choose the amenity package for an additional fee which is paid directly to the hotel with your guest registration that will be sent to you separately. We provide you with beach chairs, beach towels, boogie boards, cooler, and beach toys.

Amenity Package privileges include:
1. Charging privileges like hotel guests
2. Free preferred parking with keycards
3. Beach access with lounge chairs, towels and umbrellas
4. Fitness center at both hotels
5. Pools at both hotels
6. Beautiful oceanside tennis courts at the Mauna Kea

The Mauna Kea and Hapuna resorts feature:

- Two championship golf courses
- Swimming pools overlooking the beach
- World renown oceanside tennis facility
- A fantastic range of dining opportunities
- Large and modern fitness center
- Rental includes the option to purchase an amenity package pass to the Mauna Kea and Hapuna Prince Beach resports
With purchase of the amenity package you have unrestricted access to both the Mauna Kea Beach and the Hapuna Beach Hotel facilities with key card parking at the private parking areas. The Mauna Kea/Hapuna amenity package has been revised per the chart below. Please note that this is a daily fee per home or condo (not per person) up to 20 days and a flat fee per stay for designated periods thereafter. Note all fees are plus tax.
Renters Up to 20 Days: $ 120 per day (subject to changes)

The Kumulani B3 condo is registered under Hawaii State law for GET and TAT taxes. The numbers are: GE : 169-507-8400-01 and TA : 169-507-8400-01. The condo is also registered with the County of Hawaii as an approved Short Term Vacation Rental. STVR# PL-STVR-2023-000818.

Great Condo - Thank You!

My family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids) enjoyed a great stay at this condo. We will definitely be repeat customers. We especially enjoyed the cleanliness of the condo and the cozy living/great room. The property manager was also very responsive and helpful prior to, and during, our stay.

Great place, host, ease, and fun!

We've been coming here now for a few years and really enjoy the condo as it's always clean, well kept, functional and easy. The good part for us is that it's a 3 minute drive to the hotel, but it's also just a tiny away from all the crowds of the hotel and beach, so at night the view is amazing, it's incredibly comfortable, and super easy to get to either Mauna Kea or Hapuna in less than 3 minutes. Best of all worlds., like our home away from home...

Best of both worlds

The condo was perfect for our family of 4 to spend a week over Thanksgiving. The condo is peaceful with beautiful views off the balcony, and it had everything we needed. Having access to both resorts was a huge bonus. It was the best of both worlds. Can't recommend it enough!

Paradise on the Big Island

The condo is probably our favorite vacation rental stay ever - and we travel quite a bit! The pictures don't do the place justice when you get a perfect sunset every night! We loved the access to the Mauna Kea and Hapuna Beach which was part of the amenities package. However, it also meant we scrapped our Big Island plans to just hang out at these wonderful resorts the entire time! Condo is modern, great outfitted kitchen. Well running AC and appliances. Special mahalo to Bob who took such great care of us during the unfortunate fires that were happening at the time. We cannot wait to come back!

Considering the resort access you get here, this place really is amazing. Condo itself was flawless and had great AC. Location is 10/10. Getting the resort access is a must.

Fabulous condo with amazing views & amenities!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this condo! Spacious, very clean and equipped with everything we needed to enjoy our vacation to the fullest. Bob was super responsive and even dropped off 2 additional boogie boards so we could all enjoy them, which was so appreciated. The amenity package is so worth doing - awesome way to experience 2 of the best beaches on the island. Would highly recommend and definitely come back!

Hapuna condo

The condo was everything that we expected. There is a beautiful view over the golf course and ocean. The property is tastefully furnished and very comfortable. It feels like home. We have always stayed at the Hapuna hotel and this is now our preferred option.

Couldn’t have been better

We were a little skeptical of all the 5.0 reviews, as most places have even a few drawbacks. But upon arrival it was clear why this property gets consistent 5 star ratings. It was better than the photos. The view from the lanai was spectacular, we spent much of our time at the condo there. The place was perfect for our family of 4 and was a true respite. We loved how quiet it was and how close it was to the two nicest resorts and beaches on the island. It was also perfectly located for trips to Waipi’o and Poulou lookouts and hiking. It was very well stocked with everything we needed. Comfortable beds and overall just a great place to stay. If we come back to the big island this is where we will stay again without hesitation.

Kumulani Gem

We've been traveling to the Big Island since 1984 and this is our first time staying in a condo. This lovely rental is clean and comfortable, with a fully equipped kitchen and gorgeous views. We enjoyed breakfast on the spacious lanai each morning, afternoon swimming at Kaunaʻoa Bay and afternoon Mai Tai's at the Hau Tree. The MKBH amenities package is an added plus! Mahalo, Bob for sharing this bit of heaven on earth! Looking forward to a return visit.

Great Family Experience

Was our family's second time staying at this property in the past four years. We would come back again! Condo was fully stocked with everything we needed. Unit was clean and everything worked perfectly. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the lanai watching the golfers and the ocean - not to mention our daily happy hour on the lanai watching sunsets.

Comfortable, quiet and amazing views

Great stay in Mauna Kea

We loved being away from crowds with easy access to the civilization and great beaches for swimming and boogie boarding within 5 mins drive. The place had everything we needed and more. Bob was super accommodating and helpful. We found our perfect place for future stays on the Big Island.

Wonderful stay

Lovely, peaceful property, gorgeous view and well-equipped condo with a spacious balcony that had everything we needed and more. Bob was very kind and communicative. If you like to cook, you'll find the kitchen is beautifully stocked. Everything worked well and was very clean. We paid extra for the access to the Mauna Kea and Hapuna resorts and happily used them every day. Beds were comfortable, A/C worked well and there was plenty of space for the four of us. Wouldn't hesitate to book here again.

Because it is located on the Mauna Kea hotel grounds, which in our opinion has the finest beach anywhere. We love the diversity and different climates of the big Island. We love driving to explore different parts of this wonderful Island. We also enjoy sitting on the beach and just enjoying it.
