Peaceful Getaway

We had a wonderful 10 days at this beautiful duplex! It was very private, spacious, tropical oasis pool area. Only 5 min direct walk to beautiful, white sandy beach and lovely evening sunsets! We will definitely be back to stay here again!

Loved it

We had a great stay at Emerald Bay. It was an easy walk to the beach and the pool was so relaxing. The house was clean and so nicely decorated. It was just as it looked in the pictures. The couch with recliners was so comfy as were the beds. Loved having so many bathrooms and bedrooms. Great place.

Great beach house!

This is a wonderful house! So clean, updated, and accessible. A quick walk to the beach, and we loved the layout of the house as well. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. The owners were very accessible and quick to respond when we had questions. We would definitely stay at this house again!

Perfect beach house!

This house was exactly what we were looking for! Perfect space for 4 adults and 2 kids. Very modern updates, great layout and gorgeous outdoor space. We walked to beach every evening for the spectacular sunsets after the kids played in the pool all day. We used the outdoor shower a lot more than anticipated so it was a nice feature to rinse off the salt and sand. Quiet neighborhood just minutes drive to shopping and restaurants. Will definitely try to come back again!

Everything is close

Recommend golf cart. Best way to get around. 25 mph is top end limit. Fantastic place at a fantastic location. The place was nicer than even I imagined after reading the description. Get up early drive your cart to pier for sunrise and pass by donut shop on Pine on way home. Made fresh. Rented a boat for week too. Great decision. My new go to vacation. Anna Marie.

The property was beautiful, clean, perfect size and it easy to get to places. One suggestion is maybe a slightly later check out (11am) and maybe a slightly earlier check-in (3pm). By the time we woke up, got kids fed and ready, packed/cleaned up the entire place, we felt a little rushed. A 10 AM checkout may be a little too early. Otherwise, great experience.

Our Second Time At This Property

This was our second stay at this property. We were repeat renters for a reason! House was the perfect size for our spring break getaway. House is well kept and tidy. The garage housed two beach cruiser bikes, along with several beach chairs, umbrella, sand toys (not needed), and wagon. It's an easy, 5-minute walk to the beach. We did not find the need to rent a golf cart but did rent additional bikes for our crew. We had a few windy beach days, so we very much appreciated the fantastic pool and spa in our backyard. We enjoyed a few walks and bike rides to Pine Street for exercise, as well as to pick up donuts (Donut Experiment) and key lime coconut cake (Hometown Desserts). Overall, another great week on Anna Maria Island in your Emerald Bay property.

The best thing about the property is the comfort of the beds. Plenty of sleeping space and a lot of bathrooms. I wouldā€™ve preferred a much nicer detachable showerhead for shampooing and shaving but the soaps and shampoo were very nice. Since the washcloths were not set out, I wasnā€™t even aware that there were washcloths until my daughter looked under the sink. There were plenty of beach supplies and night lights for the pool and an outdoor shower. It would be nice if they were to add steppingstones over top of the gravel to get from the gate to the outdoor shower in bare feet. They have good trash pick up Service and cable tv. I had an overcharge from booking through a third-party website and it was corrected very quickly. Our pets were permitted and we used the grass across the street for potty breaks. Just be sure to clean up after your pups! Also, this home is approximately three blocks from the beach, and this area of the water was never very crowded. I ended up sleeping on the third floor since I have a bad knee, but I couldā€™ve slept on the second floor if I wanted to. I did Report to the property manager that the pool man added chlorine and not much else. We only swam a few times because we asked that he scrub the algae from the pool walls and pool seating areas and sun deck and skim the dirt out because we didnā€™t have a skimmer, Those never got done. We really wanted to pool to be our main hang-out, but unfortunately that wasnā€™t the case. Pools are most important!

This home is in an awesome location for beach and has a lot of room for large family. Home needs a lot of TLC. Bar lights couldnā€™t be used flickered, ripped skirt in one bedroom, bathroom toilet holder broke, missing toilet paper, dish sponge, dish washer and laundry soap. Also pool area was not checked we found wet towels old empty cans.

Perfect Location

Short walk to a beautiful beach entrance and beach area that was never too crowded. The house was adorable and we loved having the pool for during the day and would walk to the beach for sunsets. We had an issue with our code at check-in, and the property management company assisted with the issue immediately. Overall very good stay!

This is a high 4-star review. Most places that I rate 4 stars I would not return to. With Emerald Bay the issues are easy to compensate for once you know them. I would def go back! The place is exactly as advertised. Very short walk to the beach. Pictures are accurate. Pool and spa are nice. Great natural light. Beautiful kitchen. It's kind of a split level so there aren't as many stairs as it seems. And no crazy rules like don't set the AC below 78 like I've seen at some beach places. We had great service in terms of responsiveness to questions. They even brought us a new blender, same day, when we couldn't find the pitcher to the old one. I really appreciated that for keeping up with my green smoothie habit. We did not use the bikes but it was great to have them. We felt very safe in the area. It was great for our family and our dog. Good walking area but some sidewalks flood out when it rains. The beach chairs provided are in ok shape. The backpack straps don't work on all of them and some are pretty worn. I suggest that as soon as you get there, take them to the pool deck, rinse them in the shower, and let them sit in the sun. They can get a little musty. Cleaning was pretty good. It's really helpful to know how a place is appointed. The rental company provides a good amount of info but cannot tell you everything especially since they are not there when the place is cleaned and changed over Here are my thoughts (of course your experience might differ). 1) We were not provided any laundry detergent. Fortunately I had brought a few Tide tabs with us but it would have been helpful to have more given that there aren't a lot of extra bath and kitchen towels. 2)not a lot of extra bath towels but PLENTY of beach/pool towels. Only ONE kitchen towel. More would have been helpful. And some old musty sponges were left . 3) a few dishwasher tabs were provided. 4) decent cooking supplies but not many baking supplies if you plan to make a cake or something. 5)we needed to buy trash bags and extra paper towels. If you like liquid hand soap rather than hotel-size bars, buy that. 6)also would be helpful: kitchen cleaning spray, broom and dustpan or stick vacuum for sand The documentation of the pet fee (as to whether or not it was charged) on billing documents could have been more clear. I'm giving the benefit of the doubt and have been told the problem was fixed.

Great value, great location

The den, with the twin bunk beds was crucial for our stay. Proved to be quite handy. 3 of our adult kids didnā€™t seem to mind at all. Pool was well maintained. Short walk to the beach. The extra towels and well stocked kitchen were pluses. One of our smoke alarms went off and after notifying management, maintenance came by and replaced all batteries. Great family week. Look forward to visiting again. James

Fantastic location, 2 blocks from the beach and within walking distance to restaurants, ice cream, etc. Really nice pool and hot tub. Property manager was really responsive and easy to communicate with her. Wagons to pull all the beach gear and a stash of beach toys were provided. Also had 2 beach cruiser bikes that we enjoyed riding. We rated 4 stars instead of 5 for following reasons: Although the mattresses were fine, the bedding was really uncomfortable and needs an upgrade. Sheets were pilling and fitted sheet was too deep for the mattress, so every time you moved the fitted sheet pulled off the mattress. We had to fix it several times through the night. This is an 8 person rental, but there are only 6 beach chairs and beach towels. Luckily we brought a couple beach towels. Pool was really nice, but deck didnā€™t have much space. This didnā€™t impact our review, but kitchen could use Tupperware. Well stocked otherwise, even had a slow cooker. We really enjoyed our stay and this is a very nice rental. Upgrading the bedding and getting a few more beach chairs and towels would be helpful. We love AMI and this is a fantastic area to visit.

Great beach house!

The house was great. Loved the decor, the layout and the pool/hot tub was fantastic. The location was good, too, with an easy walk to the beach- maybe 1.5 to 2 blocks???- and not too far from the restaurants and shops on Pine- maybe a 5 minute drive??? I read reviews about the beds being ā€œloudā€ and didnā€™t find that to be the case. We did find that the top floor bedroom was bright, even though it had blinds, so if youā€™re sensitive to that be sure to bring a sleep mask. It didnā€™t bother my husband, but I wore a mask and was fine. Really nice how all the bedrooms/bathrooms have their own space. The house could use an ice cream scooper- but thatā€™s about it. Iā€™d highly recommend it - super clean and management was great about any questions we had. Terrific stay!

Perfect rental!

My husband and I rented this property for an anniversary trip and brought along our 7 month old. We were so pleased! Itā€™s our third time on the island but first stay at this property. From cleanliness to decor to pool area to location from the beach it was perfect! It was spotless inside and out, had everything we needed and then some, adorable inside and out, wonderful spa and pool with easy controls. It was a short stroll to beach access and it wasnā€™t a super busy stretch of beach either. Weā€™ll definitely stay again!

The house was in a perfect location and was set up for a truly wonderful family vacation!

The ladies managing this property truly understand the set up for a family vacation. The home with all the special touches from the kitchen, bedrooms and especially the out door extras by the pool and for the beach with bikes were outstanding!

A wonderful property with everything to make this house feel like you were at home!! Minutes from the amazing ocean!!! And a wonderful experience with the property owner!!!
