This timeless lakefront home is the perfect location for your family getaway. With over 3,000 square feet, multiple living spaces, 4 bedrooms (high quality linens & towels included) with 2 queen beds, 2 twin beds and 2 sets of bunk beds, 3 full bathrooms, family/gameroom, wrap around deck and huge multi-level dock that sits just inside a no-wake cove providing the perfect spot for swimming, floating, and kayaking. Upon arrival you will find the beds already made with linens that are professionally cleaned and sanitized offsite along with fresh towels in each bedroom and bathroom. Additionally we provide laundry detergent, color-safe bleach, dish washing liquid and detergent, hand soap, toilet paper and starter paper towels and napkins. We thoughtfully designed this home so that your vacation can begin the moment you arrive. This home offers stunning sunrise, sunset and mountains views. With a beautifully landscaped private lot, fire pit, endless decks and a multi-level dock. This getaway is one you'll dream of coming back to year after year.

Dock
Enjoy lounging, sunning, fishing and playing on the enormous multi-leveled dock. Relax in the sunshine on the upper level or one of the two lower-level stationary docks. Then take a break in the shade under the gentle breeze of the outdoor ceiling fan. Ready to hit the water and float around? Head over to the floating dock and jump in. If you're looking for a bit more excitement leap into the water from the upper-level jumping platform which is a guest favorite. This incredible dock has endless spaces and uses, but one of the best is taking in the beautiful sunrise and sunset. The gentle slopping staircase down to the dock is enclosed on both sides by hand railings making for a safe walk for all ages. Guests may secure their boat to the floating dock.

Deck
The multi-leveled wrap around deck on the home is a wonderful place to take in the view, lounge or enjoy dining while looking at beautiful Smith Mountain. The outdoor dining table comfortably seats six and is a great place for a meal or morning cup of coffee. The lower level of the deck, located directly outside of the family room, has a hammock swing with a peaceful view of the lake -- a great spot for reading or quietly relaxing.

House - Main Level
This beautiful 3,000 plus square foot home has an spacious open concept floor plan on the main level with a floor-to-ceiling natural stone gas fireplace as its centerpiece. Flanking the fireplace is a wall of windows allowing for a 180 degree view of the lake. With a deep over-sized couch and three additional armchairs -- two of which are swiveling gliders -- its the ideal room to gather, relax and enjoy the spectacular view in the company of family and friends. The dining area is also located on this level with table for six and an additional four bar-height stools located at the counter. The well-appointed kitchen is the perfect spot to prepare meals while still engaging with your family and friends or taking in the gorgeous view. Also located on this level are two charming guest rooms and a full bath with a tub/shower combination. Guest room one has two twin beds and guest room two a queen bed.

House - Upper Level
The upper floor of the home boasts a lovely loft that overlooks the main level and has one of the most beautiful views of the lake. This is a great spot to relax and gaze at the water, read quietly, or play cards with a loved one. Also on this level is the huge master bedroom with a private lake-view balcony and grand master bath outfitted with a stand alone shower and over-sized jetted tub.

House - Lower Level
The lower level hangout has a bright, light-filled rec room with a second natural stone gas fireplace and two sets of french doors leading to the dock. Included in this room is seating for the entire family to enjoy a movie night, listen to music, play one of the many available board games or family-friendly Wii games, or compete in late-night LED-lit Foosball tournament. Directly off of the family room is a kitchenette which has a second full-sized refrigerator to handle overflow food, drinks and snacks. A small table makes it a convenient place for the kiddos to have a snack. The third full bathroom is also located on this floor and offers an oversized walk-in shower. The washer and dryer are located in a closet within this bathroom. The fourth bedroom, the bunk room, is connected to the full bath and is outfitted with two sets of bunk beds -- a favorite hang out space of the kids.

Outdoor Entertainment
We're happy to provide three 10' kayaks. In addition, we have numerous floats, pool noodles and life vests available. The no-wake cove is a peaceful, safe place to swim, fish, float and kayak.

Indoor Entertainment
The family room is well stocked for a fun-filled family night or rainy day. More than a dozen board games and movies, puzzles and a new LED-lit foosball table promise to keep your family entertained. If you would rather read a book, we have over a hundred books available for your enjoyment. We also have a Roku available for streaming.

Grill
Brand new Weber grill just outside the kitchen comes complete with directions for use, and offers plenty of room for burgers and dogs, steaks or that fresh fish you just caught from the lake.

Fishing
If you've never fished Smith Mountain Lake, you're in for a treat. Filled with large mouth bass, catfish and some of the best striper fishing around, all you need is a pole and a little skill. And if you're looking for a little help, we have recommendations for a few terrific local fishing guides who can help make sure your fishing is fun and fruitful. We have caught both bass and catfish right off the dock. They were delicious!

Fire Pit
What is a trip to the lake without a night lakeside enjoying a fire, family, friends and 'smores? The fire pit is located on the large side yard near the water and we are pleased to provide ample firewood for your enjoyment and marshmallow toasting!

Boating/Jet Skiing
Bring your own boat or jetski or rent one at one of two nearby marinas (Mitchell's Point Marina and Parkway Marina) that are a short drive and even shorter boat ride when it is time to refuel. You may tie off your boat either on our floater dock or along the sailboat slip.

Parking
We have a large circulator driveway with an overflow parking area to the right of the driveway - please, no parking on the grass. Additionally, please note that we have added a security camera that overlooks the driveway for added security.

Area Attractions/Dining
There are numerous restaurants on the lake. We frequently dine at Mitchell's Point restaurant for casual lakeside dining -- always a tasty meal and just minutes from the house by water. We also like to head to Mexico Vajeo located at Crazy Horse Marina for another delicious meal that is a favorite of the kids. Crazy Horse Marina is just 10 minutes by boat from the house. Bridgewater Plaza has many dining and shopping options and is about 20 minutes by boat.
