This spacious, beachfront, two bedroom condominium is conveniently located just around the corner and down a short hallway from the elevators and features a remodeled kitchen and dining area. Tastefully decorated throughout, this peaceful retreat is the perfect spot to enjoy your SANDESTIN® Golf and Beach Resort beach vacation. Breathe in the fresh breezes coming in off the emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico from your spacious private balcony overlooking some of the nicest beaches among Destin and South Walton's renowned sugar white sand beaches. Then head down the elevator to a relaxing day by the resort style pool complete with separate kiddie pool, seasonal snack bar and hot tub or to your choice of one of many adventures on the resort or off.

At the end of your day, relax in the cozy living area with a large flat screen TV and upgraded sleeper sofa, or one of the two roomy bedrooms. The master bedroom with a flat screen TV, king size bed and en suite bath complete with dual sink vanity has wonderful view of the Gulf of Mexico and Destin's famous beaches. The guest bedroom has a flat screen TV, two full beds with a spacious bath and separate vanity area making it easy for one person to take a shower while another gets ready. The second bedroom also has awesome views of the beach and coastline.
Westwinds is the nicest building on SANDESTIN® Golf and Beach Resort beach. It is directly beach front and has many amenities that will keep you and your family returning year after year. The fitness area overlooks the pool and beach, so it is easy to work out or even do a little cross training while on vacation. Perfect Location

Great place to stay. Views of the pool and beach. Very secure resort and clean. Wish beach chair service was included but they did have chairs in the room for us to use. Will be coming back next summer.

We will be back!

We loved our trip to Westwinds and will be booking for next year! Heated pool, close to the beach, and shuttle takes you wherever you need to go. Property was clean and very quiet.

Family Spring Break

We had a great stay despite poor weather. The condo was perfect for a family of 5! We had everything we needed in the condo. The pool was heated and comfortable for the kids even in cooler weather. We will be back!

Beautiful Sandestin Unit

Renting was easy. Quick response from property manager when booking and excellent communication of all pertinent information for our stay. The unit was beautiful and had easy access to the pool and beach. Would love to book it again for a future stay.

Just as described

The condo was as described. When we arrived, the smoke alarm needed a battery and management was very prompt to replace the battery. That was the only time I had to contact them that week. The cleaning company kept the resort very clean. We had a great stay and would consider this place again.

Our stay was just alright

The unit was average. Nothing was awful, but it wasn’t great either. The beds were very uncomfortable. We had to re-wash every dish we used as everything was dirty coming out of the dishwasher. There was constant construction noise all day long.

Tired but nice

I was happy with the accommodations. One bad thing was as we were asleep the first night, the king bed collapsed. One of the planks slipped off the side board. We put it back on and then it happened again early in the morning. Mind you, we are small people and dont weigh much. In the morning we checked out the situation and realized that the boards (3 of them) were not screwed down and the side board looked like this had happened before because there was a chunk of wood missing. Luckily my husband is a contractor and so we ran to the local Home Depot and bought some long 1x4 boards, screws and tools to fix it. We also put some leg supports under several of the boards. Worked great for the rest of the time but it wasted a whole morning😩. Later that week we found some of the original support legs in the night stand. Sadly this bed was poorly put together from the beginning. We never called the manager because we figured we could just fix it ourselves. The other issue that I have with this rental is that it wasn’t a “Sandestin” rental. We could use the pool and go to the beach and use the shuttle, however we couldn’t use the other amenities that were there. We were told that because it was through another company, we couldn’t use pickleball courts, tennis courts, bikes, lap pool, etc. That was kind of crappy because we were looking forward to those things. Also, the linens were very tired and worn.

We arrived at the unit facility around 3 pm (check-in time 4 pm) and sent a message asking if we could go ahead and access the unit. As we waited on a reply we decided to go up and check it out. We entered the unit and checked the beds out as we do during any stay. We did a quick walk through and decided to go eat. 30 minutes after we entered the unit we received a phone call from the property manager yelled aggressively and inappropriately at us, scolding us for entering the unit. We were spoken to as if we were criminals. We had no problem paying the $50.00 for entering the room for "early check in" but as someone who works with people in a "customer service" environment it was the WORST EXPERIENCE I have ever encountered. Every question we asked during our stay resulted in a rude response including our water being shut off for 12 hours. We failed to read a tiny fine print post that there was an extremely sensitive water leak detection system. And although we never spilt or had water on the floor we were blamed for the 12 hours of no water. During that time we called the property manager numerous times. It was finally communicated to us the following morning that we were suppose to call the water failure number. Lastly, we were rudely accused of taking a yellow rubber arm band used to access the pool/beach area. I WOULD NEVER STAY IN A UNIT MANAGED BY THIS GROUP/MANAGER AGAIN. Every question/ encounter was the worst I have experienced and we love to travel.

Loving Sandestin but not the condo so much!

Hello, My review is not to discourage others from staying or the owners to think we had a bad experience. Quite the contrary. It is my opinion and that of my husbands as well. The items I'm about to mention are to inform those that read the reviews and what is important or not to someone. Also, the owner should take note regarding the condo recommendations as well as what was noticed in the building itself and should be addressed with the HOA. The condo is very tired looking. All fixtures are very low end, bulbs were burned out in two rooms. Remote in the master only works part time, the kitchen needs updating, the condo is very clean which is important but the sofa is disgusting and needs replacement(did not even want to sit on it), the plates and cutlery are gross(go to Walmart at least and buy coordinating things), only one garbage bag provided(at least tell guests what items should be brought such as toilet paper, more garbage bags), beach chairs to the side of the washing machine cannot be accessed, no detergent or bounce(again ...tell your guests to bring), no info provided about resort(get a 3 ring binder together with info on resort and surrounding area), no presence of security(nothing worked ie gate to garage, doors to building , gate to beach, who to call if something occurs?)not beachfront(you see building/other porches along with pool..beach far away), at beach all rental beach chairs take up entire beachfront, TV in living room has issues, not enough carts for taking luggage up and down, fitness center is filthy, no wipes, mats filthy, tiny, 2 treadmills and one broken, the best part was owner agreed to late checkout at 11am but as we were putting items in car at 10:05am we were locked out! When we got back to condo to get one beach chair and my handbag we discovered we had been locked out and she had the audacity to argue with me we had not agreed to this but yet I have an email stating otherwise. We had to wait for a cleaning person to let us back in. Needless to say if you are looking for a very clean place and do not care what the place looks like regarding furnishings then sure stay here but there are many other available for rent that are much much nicer. Our friends who we went with were in a gorgeous unit completely updated with incredible views of the ocean, nice furnishings, completely updated, nice everything! Building itself is fine, but beware of your neighbors. Woke up to 2 small children running up and down the hall at 6:55am!
