Wonderful property

Beautiful condo with everything you need! Loved having the golf cart to be able to get to all the fun things you can do in Sandestin, including the beautiful beach! Check-in was a breeze, and the property manager got back to us any time we had a question. Great vacation!

Great place!!!

The property is amazing! The golf cart is a must have here. You are so close to the beach and the pool and restaurants. The condo was clean and very nice. I would recommend switching to cotton sheets on the beds or bring your own b/c polyester sheets are way to hot. Personal preference though not a make or break for my stay.

Great Vacation

This is a very nice property in the Sandestin Golf and Beach resort. We stay in a different condo each year and this was one of our favorites. Our only complaint was a slight odor that lingered on our clothes even after we got home. It’s hard to describe but it was there. Other than that it was very clean and a great location.

Don’t pass on this one!

We really enjoyed this townhome! Likes: ease of access to pool and beach, nice thick towels and wash cloths, comfortable beds, extra pillows and blankets, nice stocked kitchen, gas grill with plenty of propane, use of the golf cart which made getting around the resort super easy. Dislikes: nothing at all! We would absolutely recommend this rental for families.

Our happy place

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been traveling to Destin for over 20 years, but the past 4 years have stayed at Sandestin Resort. This unit is absolutely perfect, from the location in proximity to the pool to the back patio view. Everything was well stocked in the kitchen; we had everything we needed to cook meals. We love it here and can't wait to return! The only suggestion we have is the golf cart needs some work. Sometimes it wouldn't charge, and it is very rough riding and loud.

Nice Spot

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Bed was very hard in queen bedroom. Also very small with little storage/closet space. Condo had a huge dead bug in kitchen and sand all over master bedroom when we checked in. We cleaned that ourselves. The bathtub was clogged in one of the bathrooms. We called the one 800 number and they sent somebody to fix that promptly. The location is great.

Thank you for your feedback. We're very sorry to hear about the issues you experienced during your stay, including the condition of the queen bed, limited storage space, and the cleanliness concerns upon arrival. That’s certainly not the experience we aim to provide. We appreciate you bringing these matters to our attention, and we’re glad our team was able to respond quickly to the bathtub issue. We’re pleased to hear you enjoyed the location, and we'll be reviewing your comments with our team to improve both the comfort and cleanliness of the unit for future guests. Thank you again for staying with us.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay at Beachwalk Villa 5071 far surpassed our expectations. The property was well maintained. We loved having the golf cart to get around the property including Publix! That made shopping fun! Vacation Haven was very easy to work with. Any issue(there were just a few)was promptly addressed and taken care of. The catch and release fishing was very popular! We especially liked eating at the Beach House and the Village Door. But we loved having the grill and dinner on the patio was always special! We loved everyday of our stay!

Here come The sun

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our vacation Rental was great with the following exceptions:1. We are seniors and cannot sit on the low beach chairs that were at the rental. We would like to have had some high chairs that take us up off the sand.2. We did experience a few cockroach sightings inside the rental, which was a big negative for us.We have committed to renting this same unit for January & February 2025 and trust that these issues can be addressed.
Resposta de VrboOwner em 13 de mar. de 2024
We are glad to hear that you had a great stay with us! We apologize that you did not find our chairs comfortable. Please note that we provide two beach chairs and an umbrella for each rental home, but any additional or specialized items must be brought or purchased by guests upon arrival. We take cleanliness very seriously, and though we do our best to prevent them, our climate can make us susceptible to palmetto bugs. We appreciate your plans to return in January and February of 2025, and are committed to making your next stay even more comfortable and enjoyable.

As, always hassle free!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and I recently stayed at one of My Vacation Haven's Beachwalk Villas Condos for the third year in a row.Dealing with My Vacation Haven has always been very easy and I have never had an issue with any of the properties we have stayed at. Unit 5071 is very nicely decorated and the kitchen is well stocked. Everyone one of the 4 members of my family had plenty of room to get cozy when we needed a rest. The golf cart was well taken care of as well. If I had a single complaint it would be that the cart seems to have some sort of speed control set on it which is slower than I would have liked. Again, not a complaint as it is not my property but it was slower than carts I have had the privilege of using in the past. We stay in Sandestin every year at the end of September and thanks to my vacation haven and properties like "here comes the sun" we will definitely be back next year, God willing! Thank you to the owners and My Vacation Haven for another great vacation!

We are truly thrilled to hear that you chose to stay with us for the third year in a row and that your experience has consistently been enjoyable. We appreciate your kind words about our team's easy and seamless booking process, as well as your satisfaction with the properties we offer. It's delightful to know that the condo's decor and well-stocked kitchen met your expectations and provided your family with the comfort you needed to relax during your stay. Regarding the golf cart, we apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced due to the speed control settings. Your feedback is valuable, and it helps us improve our services. We're thrilled to hear that you're already planning to return next year, and we look forward to hosting you and your family once again!

Convenient Location. Beautiful Interior. Missing a few essentials

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Highlights - The interior, design, layout, and decor in this unit are VERY nice. The downstairs flows perfectly for a family of four. Our two kids were able to sit at the kitchen bar or on the couch while we prepared meals, and nothing was out of reach. The bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs are spacious - the guest bedroom was designed intelligently. The two bunk beds are equipped with reading lights and electrical outlets. The master bedroom is very spacious, and the shower is very nice. The unit is a two minute walk to the pool, or a three minutes golf cart ride to the beach. Baytown is around a five minute golf cart ride. The only challenge/surprise we had was the lack of some basic items in the kitchen - the was no pepper, basic spices, or a few coffee pods to get us started. This was the first vacation rental in the last three years we’ve experienced this with. Conclusion - we would definitely rent this property again.
Resposta de VrboOwner em 21 de mar. de 2023
Thanks for the feedback. We provide all guests with a starter pack of essentials, but each guest has different needs. We do not provide spices or coffee as every person had different preferences. Awesome Clean Beautiful Destin Townhouse.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved this place. Great location and the unit was so very clean and comfortable. My only problem was that I arrived in Destin around 10am & tried to kill as much time as possible but by 1pm - I wanted to check in. The unit was vacant for 3 days prior to my arrival & it was empty & yet they still did not let me get in till 4pm ( thought that was not cool & not very accommodating considering how much it cost me.) Also we had some trouble with the upstairs TV Streaming. Was not able to really watch TV upstairs for a few days. I called them on day 3 after suffering with upstairs TV & they came & fixed it immediately.I give this unit 4.3 Stars & I would give it 5+++ stars if they let me check in a few hours early & had the upstairs TV working good. The downstairs TV was perfect all the time.Still the place was so clean, Golf Cart was awesome & the Kitchen was fully packed with great cooking gear.
Resposta de VrboOwner em 7 de nov. de 2024
Larry, thank you for your review and feedback. We understand not getting early check-in can be frustrating but we are always working in the units to ensure it is up to standard for our guest and that means we can't always allow early check-in. Our maintenance technician did come at the time of the tv being reported not working, we were unable to find anything wrong with it. Otherwise, we are glad you enjoyed the cleanliness and amenities.
