In just a few places in the world, at the same time, the eye is enchanted by the beauty of such a unique landscape in which the Etna Volcano and the crystalline sea are the protagonists.

Villa Frasteva is an ancient noble villa of the early 800, carefully restored and divided into mini-suite-luxury apartments equipped with every comfort to make your stay as pleasant and relaxing as possible.

Each apartment has a private outdoor space where you can dine and have lunch in the fresh air enjoying a view of the garden or the panorama.

The villa has different apartments for a total of 20 beds, furnished with love and attention to detail, ideal for groups and families who want to travel and stay together while maintaining their privacy and independence.

There is also a relaxation area on the common garden where you can make barbecues or simply meet or read a book accompanied by singing birds that are the protagonists.

All apartments are equipped with a double bed, a living room with a double sofa bed, a bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen.

Located a stone's throw from the historic center of the village of Valverde and behind a Marian shrine of 1200.

It is in an ideal position, in the center of a ring that allows you to easily reach by car the mountain areas such as our Etna Volcano, the enchanting cliffs and the numerous beaches, the historical beauties that enrich our characteristic and precious cultural heritage of the historical centers, and it is still possible to go shopping or stroll enjoying the characteristics and diversity that each country offers and glimpse.

Beautiful Property

Stayed here with my sons. We each had our own apartment which were spacious and opening onto a terrace, one onto a private garden and the other overlooking Catania (and sea) below. Very quiet with ample parking for our car. Sefania was very welcoming and helpful and overall a great host. Would come back again as we really enjoyed our stay.

Frasteva is a totally unexpected surprise. From our initial contact with Stefania to our final dinner in town everything was wonderful. You will not find a more gracious host. The apartments are spacious, comfortable and clean. Can highly recommend.

Very nice!

The apartment was quite nice, very clean, open and bright. I enjoyed the private patio and made use of the washing machine, even though it was shared with the other apartments. I loved the floor to ceiling windows! Also, the bed was quite comfortable. The neighboring town was nice for strolling and the merchants were kind to deal with, though i spoke little Italian. And there was designated parking, which is hard to come by in Italy! Overall, a very enjoyable experience.

Fantastic Apartment

The photos do not do justice to the beautiful apartments of the villa. We booked 2 apartments, a 2 bedroom and a 1 bedroom, both immaculately and tastefully made up. The beds and pillows are extremely comfortable and the place was immaculately clean. We arrived in the early hours of the morning and found Stefania waiting for us having communicated efficiently via whatsup. She is a lovely hostess, very accomodating and helpful. The village of Valverde is only a 30 minute car drive away from Catania airport, so it was ideal to visit the east coast of Sicily without the hustle and bustle of staying in a big city like Catania or Siracusa. The village has all the necessary shops on the main street just round the corner from the villa with a lovely pasticeria and panificio making sweets and bread to die for :-) I cannot recommend this place enough. It was absolutely lovely. Thank you Stefania :-)

Gode parkeringsmuligheder. God information om check in. PƦne og rene vƦrelser. Heldigt at vi havde apart. Verdone med den store terrasse, hvor hele familien kunne samles (7 Pers)! Vi havde dog ikke stole og service nok til at spise sammen, sƄ vi hentede hele tiden fra den anden lejlighed. Vi kunne godt have brugt mere plads til alle familiemedlemmer samlet. Fotos ligner en villa med mere rummelige forhold end der faktisk var. Det fungerer mere som et lejlighedskompleks og ikke en villa.

Wir haben einen Familienurlaub mit meinen Schwiegereltern SchwƤgerin Schwager und unseren Nichten gemacht, alle 8 waren wir von der Frasteva sehr begeistert Stefania ist wirklich sehr herzlich. Struttura perfetta per chi si muove in macchina

Siamo un gruppo di 12 ragazzi che hanno alloggiato presso il Frasteva Resort. Gli appartamenti erano due ognuno da 6 persone. Molto moderni, puliti e luminosi. La posizione ĆØ perfetta per chi si muove in macchina tra Catania, Taormina e dintorni ĆØ il giusto centro tra diverse attrazioni. Stefania ĆØ stata molto gentile, una persona davvero solare. ƈ stata sempre disponibile. In definitiva un soggiorno consigliatissimo!

Beautiful apartment, great location, friendly host

This is a house with a couple of apartments in it. We had the one with the round window and fireplace. What a beautiful apartment!! Own terrace, looking over a typical Sardinian scenery. The sea in the distance, the Etna around the corner. And very private. We spend the evenings in front of the fireplace, the children's room was far enough so that we did not have to worry about speaking softly. And the next morning, through the glass door onto our own private terrace for breakfast (yes, outside in February, in the sun). The host Stefania and her family is very, very friendly and will make sure your stay is as good as it can get. Location is also brilliant: close to Catania, quiet, in a beautiful village (make sure you walk the wall-painting route), and on the side of the Etna and best seaside villages. We travel regularly, but this house is one of the best we have ever had. Highly recommendable to everyone.

Where do I begin. I'll start with the amazing host Ms. Stefania. She did a great job communicating via WhatsApp and VRBO before we arrived and she was even more lovely in person. She gave us a detailed tour of the property, pointed us to the mall and grocery store and made dinner reservations for us at a popular restaurant close by. The Villa's are so beautiful and the pictures does not do it any justice. It's nice to have your own individual space, they offer a delivery breakfast and each villa has it's own outdoor area. I plan to return without a doubt and it's a great place if you need several rooms for multiple families or couples. You will not regret this amazing experience that Stefania offers!

Total service in amazing property

We booked 5 apartments and each were 100% clean and neat and very spacious. The location is beautiful and nearby to enough amenities to keep us satisfied with shops and restaurants and local cafes. Our host, Stefania, was beyond amazing. No request was too much and she went above and beyond every single time. I have never experienced such genuine care and attention from a host. Together with her husband they made it a truly memorable experience. I would give more stars if I could :)
