The Aloha Spirit is Alive and Well in Maui! It's absolutely beautiful. The best beaches , clean air, amazing sunsets, rainbows, humpback whales and wonderful hiking, along with the best restaurants. The people are the best! Lahaina is gone but memories will always be with us. We are surrounded by the beauty everywhere you go on Maui .

Our condominium has been called by our numerous return guests as their Maui home away from home. The Palms at Wailea is nestled in-between Mil$ homes with beautiful tropical landscaping in the Wailea Resort. This is a 2nd floor unit so there are stairs.

My wife and I have been residents of Wailea since 1980. We live right across the street from the Palms so if anything should arise we are right there to take care of it. It is a short 10-15 min. walk to the Shops Of Wailea (great place to relax and people watch. Newly remodeled mall with outdoor seating everywhere, top restaurants/shops) Wailea Hotels are nearby and the best walking/running path along the Ocean. We are 10 min. walk down to the best beaches in all of Maui and 10 min. walk to the Andaz hotel and 15 min. to the Island Gourmet supermarket at The Shops At Wailea with a DELI that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner that you can take out or eat while there.

The location is great! Sunset Views from the Club House and pool /jacuzzi area. Everyone loves The Palms At Wailea. It is a wonderful low rise complex, beautifully landscaped, Only 2 floors and the large lanai's do not connect to another lanai ,so, it makes it very private. Also, the living room/dining room has a wide open floor plan and are not boxy and long like most other condo's in the area. It has a very spacious feeling. Lot's of window's and screen door to let in the breezes.
Just steps to the pool. 5* location.BBQ's are located by BLDG. 4, nearby.

Lot's of new upgrades. Brand new Vinyl wood flooring. New split air conditioning system with 2 units. One next to 2nd bedroom in hallway that cools the entire condo and one in the master-bedroom. 1200 square feet of luxury, wide open floor plan. There are also fans through-out. Beautiful 24"x24" tiles on the lanai and entryway.

The kitchen has everything from rice maker to juicer , coffee grinder & blender. Brand new LG dishwasher and microwave/oven combo by LG along with Granite counter-tops Newly installed reverse osmosis water purification system by the sink.

New sinks ,faucets and plumbing in both bathrooms.

New bedding in 2nd bedroom. New mattress pads in both bedrooms. Mattresses have been professionally steam cleaned and sterilized. Sunken living room with vaulted ceilings. Comfortable furnishings with lots of art work, bright and cheerful. Immaculately clean, non-smoking unit.

Please see what we supply so there are no surprises. We are not a hotel and supply just enough for the first 5 days of your stay. Anything else you will have to supply.

Pool and deck area has ocean views from the Club House. Unit #608, 2nd floor.Condo faces Haleakala, no Ocean Views from the Condo .Set back from the street. Some traffic noise but if you're out and about during the day it is fine. At night it is quiet . We compensate by giving a great rate compared to everything else in the area. One bedrooms go for what we charge.

Large outdoor lanai , with seating for 4 and 2 loungers. There are barbecue grills by Bldg. 4 for your use. We provide 4-Tommy Bahama beach chairs, 1 beach umbrella , beach towels , 2-boogie boards, a skim board, noodle. . Two flat screen TV's ,WI-FI, and High speed internet , Cable TV and all the comforts of home.

Our condo accomodates 4 guests comfortably. We do have a sleeper couch in living room with an added cost for a 5th person.

Wonderful property, excellent location. Owners are committed to making sure their guest have everything needed for comfortable stay. The communication with Owners was excellent as well. Would recommend strongly for anyone looking to stay in the on Maui, with walking access to some of the best beaches on the island. Elise and Bruce were very hospitable and we truly enjoyed our stay. This location is fantastic and gives you easy access to fantastic restaurants located at the resorts to the south and the location also has easy access to Kihei and all it has to offer. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful property. Worked great for our needs. There was a lot to do that was walkable and we appreciated the beach items we were able to borrow. The washer and dryer were very handy with a toddler. The owners were lovely.

Very Spacious

Condo is very spacious. We were 2 couples and there was plenty of room for everyone. Well equipped kitchen and even had laundry soap supplied. Pool was awesome and found out on last day that we could watch the sunset from there. We went to a different location each night looking for the perfect spot to view the sunset. Would definitely stay here again.

Thank you Bruce & Elise! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your lovely vacations home. Communication was excellent, check in process was seamless. This home has a new dishwasher, convection microwave and oven which we used frequently, and we also enjoyed bbqing on the lanai. The new beds left us well rested and ready to take on the day! Would definitely stay again if we go back to Maui!

We enjoyed staying in this area, however, the home was a bit dated. Here are the things that need updating: TV (sound is off on current), add a Keurig coffee maker, upgrade beach amenities like snorkeling gear (mask was broken), and have more than 3 coffee mugs for a place that sleeps 5. The remote AC worked fine during our stay in January. The location was great and short walk to the beach.

Beautiful stay at the Palms Wailea

Eliseā€™s property was lovely. The condo was clean and well appointed with all of the items you would require for an extended stay in Hawaii, from kitchen implements to sand toys and beach items, this condo had it all. The condo does back on to a busier toad which does result in some traffic noise which is easily reduced by closing the large windows. The property is excellent for children and we were happy that there were toys and a pack and play available during our stay. Elise was quick to respond to any questions and concerns. Highly recommend.

Our host, Elise, was incredibly helpful in our communication, while Bruce promptly addressed any wear and tear issues. The place was excellently furnished, providing everything one could desire for a beach vacation. Frankly, it surpassed the experience of staying at a hotel. We apologize for the presence of a little sand here and there, as we visited Mākena beach state park, which did not have showers. We only discovered the pool shower option later. We made an effort to vacuum, which also came in handy for removing the sand from my camera equipment. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Elise and Bruce for ensuring a wonderful stay!"

Beauty of Wailea

This property was exactly as described. Elise and Bruce were very helpful and wanted to make sure our stay was the best it could be. The condo was cleaned and ready for our arrival. All the windows and doors opened up for a lovely breeze and to cool the place down. One thing to note is this property is adjacent to the street and as a result you will hear cars on the road. We slept with the windows opened one night and decided against doing it again because of the road noise. Not overly horrible, but you will hear it. Other than that the location is awesome. It is a short walk to some great beaches and Wailea markets and resorts. We had a fabulous time and this place worked out perfectly. Check in and check out was super easy. We didn't have to do anything on check out which is great. It always seems silly we get charged a cleaning fee then have to do all the cleaning before we leave, but not with this place. Awesome all of that was taken care of! :) Great location at a great price!

Roomy condo in pretty setting in busy area

This condo is in The Palms condominiums in Wailea and is in a great location with easy access to Kihei and shopping and restaurants nearby. The condo is clean, but when we arrived, it had been shut up and was quite hot although the owner was on hand to help open up all the windows. However, it had not cooled down past 82Ā° by the evening, so we turned on the air conditioners which were nice to have. The flooring is new and there are a couple of new appliances, but many items did seem dated such as curtains, wobbly lamps, dusty faux plants, flat sofa pillows, etc. A set of plastic storage containers would be very helpful to add to the kitchen for guests who have meals left over and would like to store them. The kitchen had ample supplies in the pantry for things like sugar and oil, salt and pepper, which was a nice thing to have. There were lots of terrific beach towels and beach chairs so you have no need for any of those beach vacation necessities. One concern, though, is that the condo is located right at an intersection where there is a lot of traffic. This can bring noise and headlights that shine through the master bedroom window at night and makes enjoying the lanai more difficult. Blackout curtains would be a good addition.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Maui. This was our third visit, so we were familiar with the area. The location of the property was convenient, although there was some noise from the nearby street due to frequent traffic. The property itself could use some updating, and the kitchen was not very well-equipped. We suggest adding an electric kettle and providing more cutlery, as we found the current quantity insufficient and having to use the dishwasher daily was inconvenient. Additionally, it was a bit annoying that there was no baking paper for the relatively new oven. We were also disappointed that there was no barbecue on the balcony, even though it was shown in the pictures. During our stay, the lanai was quite dirty, and we had to clean it with water because our feet got very dirty. It was also surprising to discover that the smaller bedroom did not have air conditioning, which was not mentioned in the description. This was particularly uncomfortable, as the room would quickly become hot, especially at night. The curtains in the master bedroom were very thin, allowing a lot of light in early in the morning. Around five days into our stay, we ran out of toilet paper and paper towels (which were already only half full). We were informed that only two rolls of toilet paper are provided per room, but more were eventually brought to us. Overall, our experience was decent, but considering the offerings of the property, we believe it is overpriced.

Easy access to all your Hawaii Needs

Restaurants close. Pool is clean and beautiful. Itā€™s a little walk to the beach but after the first day we learned parking is very available at the little beach lot. Every time we went their were at least 3 of the 10 spots open. This was nice hauling all of our beach gear, chairs, etc. The owners have thoughtfully stocked all you need on their lanai; umbrella, chairs, bucket of kid toys, a small cooler. We loved our stay. One very small thing to note is traffic is a bit loud from the intersection but we may be more attentive to this because we come from very quiet mountains. Most may not even notice it. Overall we would absolutely stay again.

Beautiful condo!

Throughly enjoyed our 11 night stay here. Loved the Relaxing Comfy bed, clean condo, awesome large lanai. Bruce called upon our arrival to ask if anything else was needed. We walked to the Shops at Wailea, Keihi and beaches everyday. We used the beach chairs and umbrella. Only downfall and has nothing to do with the condo or owners, The Outrigger loosely manages the pool and hot tub. One evening we were in the hot tub when a teen arrived and whispered to the pool attendant. Shortly after 10 of his friends joined him in the hot tub basically squeezing 4 of us paying guest out.We asked where they were from and one said he was born in Maui and lived in Maui. We reported this to another pool attendant when we left. Another evening 2 backpackers came in thru the back gate and got in the pool. The pool/hot tub is not locked, anyone has access and there's free unmarked parking slots. And you bring your own towel, no way to distinguish guest from non paying self invited (or authorized by pool attendant) guest.

Loved Grilling on the Lanai!

As all the other reviews indicate, Elise was great to deal with, their condo is beautiful, in a great location (easy access to our favorite beaches), in a complex with a great pool, and we greatly enjoyed our stay. The kitchen is exceptionally well-appointed, based on our experience for a rental such as this. They even have a coffee grinder, so bring your own beans! The grill on the Lanai was great, as we love to cook for ourselves when in Maui. Both beds are higher-quality than any bed we've slept on in Maui, and the sheets were the most comfortable as well. Though, being from Alaska, we found it interesting there are down comforters on each bed. We traveled with our 11-mo old daughter, and were quite pleased to find out that the condo has a Pack and Play-style crib so we didn't have to pay to pack one, or purchase one upon arrival, and it was even set up in the Master Bedroom for us. The only reason this review is not 5 stars is because, as noted in other reviews, there is quite a bit of road noise, primarily during the day, from the nearby intersection. This was only an issue for us because of our baby's naptime needs. We are from Alaska, so we like to have the windows open and soak up the fresh warm air as much as possible, but that just didn't work for the baby. The good news is, the air conditioner in the Master Bedroom worked great, and we were able to keep those windows closed during naptime and at night, while keeping the room comfortable. We would recommend this condo to anyone looking for a place to stay on Maui.

Great location, good layout, clean, pool = ok!

We stayed at this place for just over a week and really enjoyed our stay. The owner was very attentive in preparation of our trip and checked in on us while we were there which was much appreciated. The condo is located in a great location in Wailea, our favorite location in Maui. The condo lay out worked well for our family of 4, it was clean and the master bath is gigantic. However the condo was nestled somehow and protected from the trade winds which was disappointing because it was really really really hot however there is an AC unit in the master bedroom and an extra fan in the second room which helped us sleep. Beds were comfy and there was plenty of sheets and towels available for use. We also appreciated the beach chairs, boogie boards, and other items that were available for use. The condo is also very dated, the lanai furniture is old and could use an upgrade. The pool and the pool area was okay but beware the property doesn't allow alcohol in the pool area!

We chose to buy at The Palms At Wailea because it was a quality complex and we live right up the street from the complex. It is one of the only solid concrete condo buildings in all of Wailea. surrounded by mil$ homes. We have owned it now for nearly 20 years. It is a great location and I think one of the best condo complexes to stay in in Wailea. The other complexes are older, smaller and have narrow boxier rooms. The Palms At Wailea has a very spacious feeling, a wide open floor plan with high ceilings, bright and cheerful unit.
The location is great too, right in the heart of the Wailea resort, near everything.The pool and Jacuzzi are beautiful with ocean views . Beautiful tropical landscaping through-out the complex. This is a low rise two story complex with a Mediterranean feeling with wide open spaces.

O que faz essa propriedade ser Ćŗnica?

It is a 10 min. walk down to the beach, depending, with restaurants, and shopping center near-by. A 5-10 min. drive to all the beaches in the area. The best beaches are in Wailea & Makena . Also, a 5 min. drive to Kihei, beach town next to Wailea. Safeway, Foodland, shops, restaurants, tennis courts, skateboard park.

The Palms have large lanai's. The lanai's are not attached to another condo lanai, so it makes it more private. Beautiful 24X24" white tiles on lanai and entryway floors. New rattan outdoor dining set . We have a full size barbecue on the lanai too. Also, you do not hear any noise coming from the condo next door. Condo is all concrete. Lots of condo's back up to the next door unit and you can hear everything but you will hear some traffic noise but quiet at night. If you're out and about during the day it won't matter. When the air is on you don't hear anything.
