Sandys Sand Trap - Golf Villa is located in Augusta Village with in the Gates of the Sandestin Resort (Golf, Tennis, Boating, and Beach Resort) a gated community approximately three-quarter of a mile from the beach located on the bay side.

Very nicely decorated and well equipped three bedroom two bath. This villa is a one-story, freestanding unit surrounded with lots of greenery. Two Patio's one screened and one Open Air on the backside. Full-size washer and dryer in house. King in Master, Queen in 2nd, Twins in 3rd BR.

The Resort consists of 2400 Acres of strikingly beautiful property. Enjoy beautiful sugar white beaches. Full 98 slip marina and excellent fishing charters. You can bike, walk, and roller blade, all around this resort there is a tunnel that takes you under Highway 98 to the Beachside. Several lakes and walking trails. You will not want to go home.

Excellent location, comfortable stay!

This was a great home for our family and pup. The location was excellent and convenient to everything. Sandestin is a perfect resort for families with young adult kids. The only suggestion I would have is cleaner and newer patio furniture in the screened porch and back patio area. Sandra was quick to communicate with us and offer recommendations prior to our trip. Our golf loving boys had a blast playing all the courses. And our shopping and beach loving girls had plenty to occupy their time. It was one of our best beach vacations yet!

Nice home in gated community

We enjoyed our stay in your home. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity. There were no washclothes in the bathrooms which was odd, but we went and got loofahs and that did the trick. No major complaints at all. The Sandestin beach area was packed like sardines, so we drove 7 miles to Henderson Beach State Park each day and it was exceptional.

Sandy's sandtrap getaway

This home was a home away from home place. We were comfortable! The golfcart to get around was wonderful...2 pools, the wharf (like new orleans town but safer and cleaner), the marina, the shopping towncenter and publix grocery store, the beach (7 min golf cart trip under the hwy in tunnel) all accessible with the golfcart. Neighbors are friendly and helpful. We would stay here again!

Great location with access to both the bay and the gulf. Easy access to pools, walking and biking.

We really enjoyed the Sandestin resort area with the nearby shopping & restaurant area and the biking and walking trails that allow you to explore the bay, marina, and also go over to the gulf side. Parking and beach access are available on the gulf side as well. The golf cart was a great plus and how most in this community get around. The condo was spacious, clean and met all our needs. There are some incomplete renovation projects in progress in the condo but nothing that prevented us from enjoying our stay. Would love to come back again in the future.

Active Remodel Site

To say this rental was a disappointment is a complete understatement. At a minimum, we expected a safe environment for our children and dogs as the rental was listed as both kid and pet friendly. We also expected a clean space given the cleaning and pet fees we had paid. I'm sad to say that this rental did not meet any of our expectations. The rental was essentially an active remodel/construction site. There were holes in the drywall, exposed electrical and plumbing, extra window panes leaning against a wall, and one exterior door was blocked by 2x4s. There was also a thin layer of remodel dust over everything and the furniture and bedding was musty, which wasn't totally unexpected given proximity to the beach and the general Florida humidity but it certainly didn't help the situation. In the end, Sandy did refund everything we were charged and was very apologetic. She explained that she was unaware of the lack of progress by her contractor but, at the end of the day, we still felt very taken advantage of. We were able to get rooms at a nearby hotel but we had to pay more without being so close to the beach. We felt fortunate to have secured the refund and we're glad to have extra funds of our own while the refund processed. I'm sure some families would not have been in the same position, which could have been really bad if they had children or pets.

Perfect home for our long weekend trip to FL

Sandy is the best host- super responsive to every enquiry and was up front on the condition of the house, since it’s still in the process of being renovated. Since a window had just been put in the day we got there, the floors were gritty, so we vacuumed first thing. Had a few problems with appliances, but Sandy again was accommodating. I was so thankful we didn’t have to stay in a hotel! The house was our home-away-from-home, very comfortable and convenient to everything- even over 4th of July weekend, the beach was an easy trip across the road and the resort swimming pool was perfect. We also enjoyed hiking around Jolee Island, and my husband found a nice fishing spot. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Enjoyed our time here with family. The resort is absolutely amazing! Beach access is very close and you do not have to worry about finding a place to park. We forgot about the tram that can also take you to the beach. Loved Destin and am ready to go back! Sandy is very responsive and super sweet!

Sandy's Sandtrap

We have been coming to Sandestin for seven years and finally found the place we were looking for. The moment we walked in we felt as though we had found "our place" in the sun. It was so nice being in a home rather than a condo or high rise with little or no character as we had been for the prior years. Everything that was needed was at hand and we got periodic emails from Sandy on the events happening in Sandestin. The golf cart was a huge PLUS as it made it convenient to run around Sandestin, the Village restaurants and events, and everything on the Boulevard. We hope to be able to return for years to come. Thanks,, Sandy, for sharing your home. We truly had a good time.

Wonderful! Great experience

We had a great stay with our two kids, grandmother, and a dog. There is plenty of room for everyone, kitchen is well-equipped, plenty of seating for everyone. The location is excellent, very convenient to everything. Sandy is an awesome landlord, very responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend.

Great family vacation spot!!!!!

Great place had alot to do around the resort from wall climbing, pools beaches, movie theater, shopping and the house had 2 TV's in the living room so we had games on one and the other was for TV. Thanks for the great vacation

The Texans loved it!

We absolutely loved this place. It was a perfect location. Photos were exact and the agent worked great with us for the booking. Everything is close by. Beach a hop over the main road and the Bay is in the resort. Restaurants are not too far. You can travel down to Destin in minutes to see all of the attractions there too. Very clean and comfortable. Felt like home to us!
