Fantastic home in a perfect location! Check-in was a breeze, and the house was stocked with everything we could possibly needā€”and more. The golf carts were a huge hit and made getting around so easy. We were able to reach just about anywhere local in minutes. Highly recommend!

Perfect Family Vacation

Quiet neighborhood next to the pool, hot tub, gym, and lake. Sandestin is a wonderful and beautiful place with heated pools, activities, restaurants, beach, etc. just a golf cart ride away. Golf cart has plenty of battery and is plenty fast. House is nice, clean and fully stocked if you want to cook. Destin has fantastic restaurants and tons of fun stuff to do

Number of beds matter

Pros: House was nice, the neighborhood is great. We love the golf carts and the beach equipment provided. Cons: The upstairs bedroom is 1 bed short ! It has 1 queen bed and a twin bed. It does not have a trundle bed. In the closet there is a air mattress but it doesnt hold air. The beach was completely packed, as tight as stadium seating. We found a public beach down hwy 98. It was fantastic! Huge shallow area for kids. Parking just off the road.

It was the perfect spot to stay away from the busy crowds but had very easy access to the beach, restaurants, night life, and shopping. Beautiful property

Very clean, well-stocked and spacious. We stayed with two adults, three teens and a 7 year old and were very comfortable. The furniture was new and very nice and all the appointments were first-class. Location was perfect for us as well. If I could improve one thing it would be to add air conditioning to the second floor. There's one bedroom and one bath up there and they get very very hot. But overall we loved the place. Thanks for a great stay.

Great Everything!!

This house met all our needs. Two moms, a group of 17 year olds and a puppy. The bedrooms were spacious along with the bathrooms. The boys had the upstairs and never bothered us moms downstairs. The location was perfect-quiet is the understatement-we had the pool near us and the lake directly behind us. The only issue we had is we tried to catch the tram to/from the beach and Wharf but because we didn't have an actual key to the house-we were not able to ride on it. That was a little frustrating. We will definitely be back and actually already looking at dates in the future.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Weā€™ve stayed at the Sandestin once before in a different area but I really enjoyed this area. The golf cart came in handy to go to the beach and also to travel back and forth to the restaurants at Baytowne wharf . I actually slept better at this rental than I do at my own house. I would stay here again. Also of note- they have a container out back with various pool items. Boogie boards, chairs, sand toys- so donā€™t run out and buy any.Thank you for a great stay!

Great Vacation, great property!

This was our second time renting this property. We had another great vacation. We only had a problem with the golf cart and batteries needing to be refilled with water due to old batteries and actual replacing while we were there. It kept us from using it one day and it actually died on us. Silver lining, Jason, the property manager was awesome. He did a great job helping with water, resetting the battery indicator, and actually buying all new golf cart batteries and changing them. Big kudos to the property managers. They answered our calls every time. We will definitely be back

House was ok but needs some TLC

While most everything at the house was nice there are a few areas that need some TLC. Thereā€™s stains on bathroom wall, nicks in the paint on walls and shower floor in spare bathroom under the door was gross. Towels are not the best and a bit scratchy and stiff. Carpet in living room needs to be cleaned. Showing fishing poles as an amenities but not set up or useable.

Nice place to relax from crowds!

We really enjoyed the stay. Had issues with the golf cart lights not working. We messaged the manager but did not get resolved. The other issue I had being a tall person, there are areas of the house that are not clean. Dusty areas, spider webs or splatters that would not normally be seen by someone, but a taller person has issues with. Fortunately when we were at the house, rain was frequent and helped cool the property. However, not being able to turn the AC below 72 caused the rooms to be stuffy. A few issues overall, might stay again but given the option, would stay elsewhere.

Nice house, great location

The house is very pretty and built with high quality. However our first impression when we walked in was, it smelled like a wet dog. We thought it was a pet free home but there were obviously pets there before. The sofa was very uncomfortable with a board underneath the cushions and the two chairs weren't much better. The shower in the master is very small, hard to turn around in actually. The other two bathrooms were much better. The beds were very comfortable in all 3 rooms. The golf carts were nice but the 6 seater, 2nd row seat has no leg room and wasn't worth the extra $60/day we had to pay for it. Also the front porch swing was very uncomfortable and we found a cigarette butt in it. The kitchen was very well stocked but there was no jet dry in the dishwasher which caused wet smelly dishes. We did enjoy our stay because the neighborhood is very nice and convenient to everything but we were disappointed in the house for the money we paid.

Best VRBO so far!

We rented this property for ten nights in September 2021. The house was squeaky clean, and the amenities were beyond what I read on VRBO before booking. The kitchen is comically well stocked, there is an entire bin of beach toys and chairs, and the internet was more than adequate (I tested it at around 400 mb/sec). The proximity to restaurants, the local grocery, the beach and Baytowne Wharf made this house an absolute gem. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, and absolutely gorgeous. Kudos to the property managers and the owners. Would 100% stay there again.
