Large family home with a great yard and deck to entertain!
Very large family room. Nice kitchen and dining rooms there are board games and books available for all guests to use. There is a grill in the backyard and a converted garage which serves as another indoor/outdoor space for entertaining. We are located less than a block from the marina and family beach. Which has paddle boards and jet skis to rent.

Great house and hosts

Olivia and Nick were super responsive, flexible and helpful during the entire process of booking and planning the trip! The house was lovely and great for a group! Would definitely recommend and come again!

Great stay in Belmar

This is a great property for a large group! The house is spacious with a great outdoor space. It is just a short drive to the beach and within walking distance of many restaurants and bars in the area. Olivia was an extremely accommodating host. Previous guests had not refilled the propane tank, and upon letting her know, I was immediately refunded the cost of a new tank. We had a great time!

Renters Beware

Pros: A ton of space to spread out while hanging inside the large living room and in the backyard. They have the largest DVD collections I have seen in years if you are looking for a couple movie nights. The checkout process with linens was easy. Cons: The listing materially misrepresents what you will actually experience and as a result is borderline uninhabitable. A significant number of essential amenities that claim to be provided may not exist or work, and the owner already knows it but won't tell you in advance. What we experienced: - The oven did not work. When we reached out to the owner on our second night when we went to go use it, they stated they knew about this issue in advance and were sorry. The groceries we had purchased and the food prep we had already done almost all had to go to waste. The owner did not provide any other alternatives until I asked and they pointed us to the microwave and grill (neither of which offers the same functionality). - The propane tanks for the grill were empty rendering it unusable in addition to the oven. - The listing says utensils are provided but the cutlery was limited to seven forks, two spoons, and five knives (despite the VRBO listing claiming to house 16 people). - We had to buy our own paper towels, toilet paper, and hand soap. The listing said paper towels would be provided. - The AC in the left first floor room did not cool the room at all, and the one by the kitchen/dining room is broken. - There are cabinet panels missing by the sink. - One of the twin beds in the large upstairs room has effectively no supporting slats under the mattress. The person who went to sleep there fell through the bed three feet to the floor as a result. - The trash cans were completely full with the previous guests' trash. We are still unclear if we were supposed to have known in advance that for some reason we would be responsible for hauling other guests' trash to the street. - The freezer ice maker did not make any ice (nor did it look like it ever has) despite the VRBO listing claiming to have an ice maker. - The upstairs bathroom sink (one of the two in the house) is slow to drain making it very difficult for someone to use it to shave their face. tl;dr: The house is a fine crash pad for people in their early 20's who may not care about any of the amenities. However this is not what we had expected - our entire group elected to leave one day earlier than the length of our reservation.

Nice Belmar Getaway Home

My family and I had a great time staying at Olivia and Nicks property for the weekend. The house was spacious inside for our group of 10 and had a nice sized backyard space also. Perfect space for a weekend barbeque, playing some games, as well as exploring the Jersey shore. We definitely recommend staying there to anyone looking for a place in Belmar during the spring/summer months!

A great place to gather .

The house was big and spacious a great place for grandparents to gather with children and grandkids. I just wish it had a washer and dryer and clothes line. The dish washer was out of order and there should have had more linens. Just minor things but we servived. :)

Great Beach House, Great Memories

The house is much bigger than the pictures give credit and there is plenty of space for games if your family / friends are into playing board games or tabletop games. The kitchen does provide enough plateware, cookingware, utensils, and cups/mugs that you won't need to worry about packing anything like that if you plan on cooking during your stay. The house had plenty of other ammenities that make this house a gem of a rental. The property manager was absolutely a pleasure to work with if any issue came up during the stay and was able to get it resolved relatively quickly. If you're on the fence about booking the property, go for it, you won't regret it. Plus, you're within walking distance of Shark River, which is an added bonus for any shark lover.

Only book this property if you’re 21 and looking for a crash pad.

We booked this home because it was the only one available in Belmar that was big enough to house our extended family of 11 people for one week. Per the photos (that aren’t accurate btw, I took many pictures of what it actually looks like - trying to find a way to post them), we knew it would be basic/underwhelming, but we had no idea it was going to be so trashed. In my photos I captured details of all of the furniture that was damaged, stained, ripped, old and random. Also note that that the dishwasher is broken and there is not a washer and dryer which is crazy for a home that sleeps this many people. The only bathroom upstairs smelled like a moldy towel the entire time, we had to burn a candle to try to mask it our entire stay. We also had to request extra towels and I had to ask them for hand towels and washcloths, as they were not going to be provided. So in summary like I said in the title of this review, if you are looking for a nice place to hang out with your family for your summer vacation, this is not the place. But if you’re just looking to party and to stay at a place that you don’t have to worry about destroying, then this is your dream booking.

First, the listing is clear, there is no washer or dryer or dishwasher listed as an amenity. The house, as all our other guests state, is extremely clean. You called me 30 times about a fictitious smell in the upstairs bathroom on my wife’s birthday, I told you I was coming to investigate the so called smell, and you stated “no it’s fine.” And requested matches. I came anyway because I know the house is cleaned the day every single guest arrives by a very reputable cleaning company. So i wanted to see for myself and was concerned there may have been standing water based on your description of what you said you smelled. When my wife and I arrived, you all seemed to be having a great time eating pizza on the couch(which you spilled sauce on BTW.) My wife and I went to the upstairs bathroom to see what you were talking about and not surprising at all, there was no smell other than the candle which you said you had no matches to burn! Lmao. I explained we do not smell anything. At ALL! You said “maybe the candle covered it up” at that point I knew you were a person that was looking for some kind of refund. And the funniest part of this, is we kindly gave you an extra night for free to be able to spend time with your family. All you are is chiseler! You tried to get money and free anything! You’re the type of person that takes the silverware from the diner so you don’t have to buy your own! As a matter of fact, I should have checked my Cutlery drawer!

Beach Weekend

Large house that was great for a family getaway. Very responsive when we had questions. Great property with so much space. Listing could be more descriptive to really explain how much space the house has to offer. Would definitely stay again.

Wonderful stay!

My family of 10 adults and 5 children stayed for 4 nights & had a wonderful time! The house was much, much bigger than the pictures revealed. The big living room was perfect for hanging out and the Littles had plenty of space. The linens and towels were provided, as were beach badges and chairs. The outside decks & space were awesome, though the weather was too hot for us to enjoy thoroughly. The location was perfect for us & we went to the beach everyday. We had questions during our stay that were always answered promptly- great hosts!

Perfect for Group!

Olivia was a great host and was available with any questions we had. The house was the perfect size for our group and we had such a good time. It was so nice to have access to beach cruisers and beach badges! the house is so big and so nice. Close to everything but yet far enough where is is plenty of parking. We would definitely go back! We enjoyed our stay and had a great 4th of July weekend.

Winter Getaway

The property is in a very nice area of Belmar. Near great restaurants and easy access to 35. Huge place, definitely sleeps plenty of people and spacious to hang out. Owners are great and neighbors are very kind. Having a driveway and the back area make it perfect. Highly recommend!!

Great place to stay very short drive to the beach.

My family and I were vacated from our vacation place in the Outerbanks due to the hurricane. Olivia and Nick were very accommodating so that my family could enjoy a few more days together at the beach. The house had everything we needed and the area is very nice. This was our first time in Belmar and we loved it!

Perfect stay for a holiday weekend!

Olivia was a great host and so easy to communicate with the whole time. No problems at all and the house was perfect for our large groups. She was so accommodating and would highly recommend staying here!
