Penthouse w/ Loft in Great Location Near River Run & Mountain House Base Area

Newly renovated in November 2024!

This 4 bedroom, 4 bath penthouse condo sleeps 14. The primary bedroom is on the main level and has a king-sized bed, flat screen TV and its own entrance to the private balcony. The en suite bathroom is equipped with double sinks, a walk-in shower and an oversized soaker tub. The first guest bedroom is also on the main level and has a queen-sized bed, flat screen TV and connecting bathroom.

The living area features vaulted ceilings with a stone gas fireplace and flat screen TV. The large floor to ceiling windows offer natural light and mountain views. The private balcony includes the same views where you can also enjoy the fresh mountain air. The balcony can be accessed through the living space.

The full-sized kitchen has quartz countertops and stainless steel appliances. Making a meal away from home is that much easier when the kitchen is well stocked with all the essential cookware and tableware. The dining area has a large beautiful table and additional seating at the breakfast bar.

Upstairs there are two more en suite bedrooms, each with a queen-sized bed and bunk beds. The loft area offers additional recreation space with a flat screen TV and a queen-sized sleeper sofa. The private washer and dryer are located in the loft as well.
Gateway Mountain Lodge has shared amenities, including an indoor pool and hot tub.

Please note: To reserve this property, the reservation holder must be at least 26 years old at the time of booking.

Family Summer Vacation

Great stay close to the slopes

This is a great place to stay with family or friends who want to be near the slopes. Each of the 4 bedrooms had en suites. The building included a small grocery, coffee shop, bar & grill & enclosed parking. Easy walk to the ski village. The unit was very clean & had sufficient area for relaxation.

The condo was very clean and just as pictured. The management staff at Gateway was very friendly and the amenities at the lodge were great. We enjoyed the heated swimming pool, hot tub, and gym. I would highly recommend this rental.

Wonderful

This place was perfect for our group of family and friends. Exactly as described, plenty of room, and close to the venue we were attending! Would absolutely stay here again!

Reviewer Comments: This place is nice but I wouldn’t stay here again in summer.Pros:- Spacious, clean, cozy feel- Well-stocked kitchen- Baby changing table, extra towels, etc.- Summit County Mtn Retreats has incredible staff. Katelyn especially did an excellent job of making a situation right. That alone makes me recommend it, or at the very least, a property owned by this company.Cons:- No a/c, super hot the whole time (we stayed in August)- Backs to the highway, so you can’t open windows because it’s super noisy.- Amenities (pool, fitness room) don’t open until 8 am. Super frustrating if you like to get a workout in early in the morning.- HOA Manager didn’t open the fitness room on time and was extremely rude Overall, it was an okay stay. The condo itself is very nice, but its location in the building and the lack of a/c means it’s probably best suited for a winter ski trip.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family stayed at this location and it was a total of 14 of us. In terms of space it accommodated us. But unfortunately throughout the stay we noticed many things at the property that made us uncomfortable. It was not clean and had leftover items from previous stays. There was hair on the ground of every bathroom. There were used feminine products underneath the couch. In one of the bedrooms there was someone’s shorts left behind. As mentioned above it accommodated for the number of people in our group but was dirty and made the group uncomfortable.

Ski Trip 2024

The location is great for price. The condo is in need of TLC. It was clean but felt dated. Sinks didn't drain well, beds could use new mattresses, kitchen sink faucet needed tightening, dishwasher top drawer needed attention, fridge missing some shelves/door bins. No ski locker key. Power outlets are few and some things need attention (wall plugs, lights, faucet, etc). Maintenance staff who happened to be in lobby was very friendly when we arrived and explained everything about access and location of room/parking etc.

Great location

We love it, great layout, plenty space, very clean, great location. Restaurants, convenient stores downstairs. Walking distance to River Run, gondolas, lift station and bus stop. We loved it

Great for multiple families

Kitchen was well stocked with lots of dishes and utensils. Several mattresses could use an upgrade and were not very comfortable. Loved that grocery, liquor store and restaurant was conveniently just downstairs from unit to walk to.

Needs some minor maintenance

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I stay in Keystone every year and have stayed in this building before. The master shower had very little pressure so I showered upstairs. The granite tiled kitchen counter was missing a tile. Both sinks in the master wouldn’t drain. A piece of the master shower seal is pulled out and lying in the shower. The trim under the master bath was in poor repair. We didn’t have enough washcloths for the 5 people staying. We couldn’t get the temperature cooler at night in the bedrooms so opened windows each of 5 nights. We turned the thermostat down to 60 and the bedrooms were 73 degrees all night. The carpet and floors were clean. Washer and dryer are full size and nice. I’ve stayed at several of the units at this location and this one needs some maintenance but the others didn’t have the big washer and dryer. I didn’t contact management regarding these issues during my stay.

Very nice, few small changes would make it 5 stars

We loved the location, size, cleanliness, 4Br 4 bath, single code keypad for all entry. A few changes would change our rating to a 5. New matresses, a 2nd parking spot, new bathroom grout, and a bigger outdoor gathering area. We had a great time exploring the area, the mountain coaster at Copper, and hiking. Steep brewery had delicious food, beverages, and great people.

The location was a short distance walk about 5 mind to the Keystone wine festival. It was spacious and had 4 bedrooms with their bathrooms. There were some maintenance issues and Management responded quickly. They sent their maintenance tech out the next day and completed the repairs. The place is outdated and had what we needed for our weekend stay. We enjoyed our stay.

Large, comfortable family friendly condo!

The living room was a great place to gather for our large family (9 of us...all adults with one toddler) with plenty of seating. Check in and check out was very convenient and easy. We had no problems with our stay but I know it would have been very easy to reach out with any questions or concerns. There were plenty of dishes and pots and pans to meet our needs in the kitchen. It is a good location as we were easily able to go to Breckinridge, Silverthorne, Lake Dillon, and our adult kids took an evening to go to Denver. Lots of good hikes and good shopping within good distance! This was a very comfortable, clean, and budget friendly place to stay. I would recommend this to any family and hope we have the opportunity to stay here again.

The had plenty of beds to sleep on. The kitchen is very small. Definitely needs some new frying pans as we did ask for a new one. The one we had was flaking off in our food. One of the upstairs tubs drained super slow so when showering we were standing in about and inch or two of water. Those are minimal issues. We hope to be back.

Communication with management was truly outstanding before, during, and after our stay to ensure everything was just right. It felt like VIP treatment. The location was perfect with shuttle service to both Keystone base resorts, the Steep cafe/bar downstairs, the gear rentals and storage downstairs, and pool/hot tub. The room were all sizeable and clean. We plan to stay again. The setup, location, and service can't be beat.
