Located just 2.1 miles (a quick 5-minute drive) from Okemo Mountain’s main base, this spacious Ludlow Village home sleeps 8 and offers the ideal blend of comfort, convenience, and four-season adventure. Nestled on a quiet street with beautiful mountain views, the home is just steps from the VAST snowmobile trail and the Okemo Resort shuttle stop—so you can skip the parking hassle and head straight to the slopes.

Whether you're skiing at Okemo, day-tripping to Killington, Magic, Bromley, or Stratton (all ~30 minutes away), or enjoying Ludlow's vibrant dining and après-ski scene—including favorites like The Loft, Main & Mountain, and The Killarney—you’re always close to the action. We’re proud to be a guest favorite—families and small groups return year after year for the home’s welcoming charm, comfort, and unbeatable location.

Inside, you’ll find three bedrooms: a master with queen bed, a second queen room, and a fun “Bunk Room” with four twin beds—perfect for kids or extra guests. The interior is cozy, clean, and designed for easy living. Stay connected with high-speed Comcast Wi-Fi and cable, and enjoy a fully stocked kitchen that opens to a small deck and private backyard—complete with a grill and outdoor seating for warm-weather meals. We even have a desk, monitor/printer setup for those that need to work while away.

There’s ample driveway parking for 4+ cars or 2 trucks with sled trailers, making it perfect for families, ski groups, or snowmobilers. Plus, a downstairs game room with a ping pong table keeps the kids entertained after a day of fun.

Summer and fall visitors will love nearby golf at Fox Run Golf Club, scenic hikes, Buttermilk Falls and Echo Lake. The owner's personal favorite is Long Trail Brewery which is a beautiful 25 minute drive away. Great for apres and during the spring/fall to sit out on the porch by the river enjoying live music and good beer.

Great family ski getaway

Owner is awesome and house is perfect location and nicely fit our family of 4 plus additional visitors. It’s a great way to have easy access to the mountain but still be able to have a home away from home!

joe was an amazing host. the house was perfect for our family of 6 and a few minutes to okemo mountain, ludlow rec center and the main street for shopping and restraunts. i have zero complaints. kitchen was fully stocked with utensils, cleaning supplies and hand towels. bathroom had plenty of toilet paper and towels. beds were comfy, even the bunkbeds were great. thank you joe!

Perfect ski weekend house

Perfect location and size for a family or group of friends. Very functional and while not total lap of luxury is well appointed and very livable. Loved the pellet stove!

Great stay!

We had a great stay here! Great communication from the start and super easy check in. House was clean and well stocked and in a very quiet area. 5-6 to the mountain and pretty much anything else in town. We would absolutely stay here again to ski Okemo in the future.

Great stay at Joe’s place in Ludlow

We had a great stay at Joe’s place for a ski weekend in Ludlow. The house had plenty of space and everything you need. It was super convenient to Okemo and to all of the great happenings in the Ludlow area. Joe is also a great host. We would absolutely stay here again.

What a great house

Everything was great. The instructions were very clear and helpful. The house had everything we needed and the location was close to everything but far enough that it was a nice quiet street.

Excellent location!

Enjoyed the location! 7 minutes to Okemo and 10 to Jackson Gore. Super clean house. The owner is very responsive. The game room downstairs is a good addition for the kids.

Cute little 'star' house

I stayed here with my family for a few days during winter and it was a great location - very close to downtown Ludlow and maybe 5 minutes to Okemo. The house is clean and accurately depicted. The kitchen is very well stocked! Bed rooms were comfortable and there were plenty of blankets to keep nice and warm.The bunk room is perfect for kids. My kids also loveddd the downstairs ping pong table and while we were there affectionately called the house the 'star' house. They wanted to come back to star house soon.

The host was wonderful, and the house was in a great location. It was spacious and welcoming, with all the amenities you could need, especially in the kitchen. My kids had a blast playing Mario on the TV, and we all enjoyed the foosball table and picnic table in the basement. The connected TVs in the bedroom and living room were a real treat for us (parents). Communication with the host was excellent, and the place was spotless. I would absolutely stay here again!

Great house for a party of eight!

We enjoyed our three night stay for New Year’s Eve! The house was just the right size for two families with four teens. The living room was cozy and the kitchen had everything we needed. The pellet stove was nice at night but it was difficult to start. We appreciated the quick responses to our questions. We would stay here again!

Cozy ski house

We love this place! We’ve stayed here numerous times and keep coming back because we love the house! It’s close to the mountain, easy to get to, fits our family comfortably and is perfect for a ski getaway. Joe is very accommodating and we feel at home in the house while enjoying time on the mountain. Thanks for another great stay!

Great house

The house was absolutely wonderful! Within minutes from leaving Okema we were able to relax on the cozy couch in front of a fire. Joe was wonderful communicating with us to ensure we had everything we needed. I have to say the house had absolutely everything we needed and more!! Highly recommend this home, close to everything, comfortable with plenty of space. The wi fi and smart tv allowed us to sit back at night and watch movies after skiing all day. Thanks again!!

Joe’s place was great. The location was close and easy. Everything we needed in a place to stay during our extended Okemo weekend was available without issue. Communication was excellent, and check in and out was easy.

Highly recommend the house. Came with my family (2 adults, 3 children). The kids loved the bunk room and exploring outside. House was well stocked with what you would need and very clean. This cozy mountain town has become our home away from home—a place where we come to slow down, reconnect, and soak up all the beauty each season has to offer. Whether we’re skiing at Okemo in the winter, hiking local trails, swimming at Echo Lake, or grabbing our daughters’ favorite maple creemees in the summer, Ludlow never fails to bring us joy.

We’ve created this vacation home as a place for others to experience that same magic—comfortable, welcoming, and perfectly located for adventure and relaxation. It means so much to us to be able to share this special place with fellow travelers and families looking to create their own unforgettable memories.

Our Village home in Ludlow, offers great access to both Okemo Mtn (2.1 Mi) and the VAST snowmobile trail. Additionally, our home is off the Okemo Mtn. Shuttle bus route eliminating the need to drive/park at the main base. Also, this home is extremely functional and sits on a nice private parcel while being in the village with quick and easy access to shopping, groceries and dining
