3-bedroom apartment on the first floor with a private entrance/separate and private living area, bathroom, and kitchen.

Shared facilities with the ground floor: Coal d` Vine Chillout, laundry, driveway, backyard, and swimming pool.

The first floor is private and exclusively for your use only.

Access via keys in a lock box. Code is provided by email 5 days prior to check-in and by SMS 2 days prior to check-in.

Gorgeous pool

Had a wonderful stay the house had everything, did an amazing wine tour with a company called 'Cheers' who picked us up and dropped us back to the property.

Overseas visitors are most welcome. Over the years we have had guests from Germany, France and Ireland. Hunter Valley is blessed with several tour, shuttle and transport to vineyards. Just Google Hunter Valley Wine Country and click on TAB. They can pick you up and drop you off at accommodation. They have local knowledge, saves drinking and driving and you can purchase boxes of wine to bring home.

Workers are more comfortable than staying in a motel, hotel or caravan park as they have comfort of a fully equipped apartment. Along with WiFi to conduct business and keep in touch with family or friends.

This property is Ideal as a base or stay in the Cessnock Area. Plenty of room for groups or big family's. Once again we will be back at sometime.

Thanks Kris. May 2016 we just upgraded our heating and cooling to DAIKIN ducted air conditioning. It is so quiet and efficient. During Spring 2016 we are looking at upgrading the outdoor settings on the front and back patio plus around the swimming pool getting ready for next summer.

Great location

We come to the area for a race event and the apartment was perfect for staying as a group of what a little dated in its decor. :)The beds were comfy and we even were able to contact our host with a stupid question about heating in a Saturday afternoon. Place was clean and spacious and apart from a randomly flickering light in one room everything was pretty good. would be happy to recommend

Stay was wonderful with amazing views around and very close to the city.

Wonderful stay. Swimming was the most exciting part. We wanted to do the BBQ aswell but let’s see next time we might be able to access it.

For 8 women sharing the house we did very well even with the one bathroom 🙂 maybe another toilet 🙂

Loved the house had everything we needed for our little weekend getaway to see shanai Twain 🙂 love love the pool but some pool toys would of been good and definately another toilet .. wifi was awsome .. it worked well for us 8 women thanks for having us 🙂🙂

The swimming pool at Coal d' Vine View is a very large pool. It is the largest private pool that I have seen in someone's backyard. So heaps of space for all your family and friends. There are also comfortable outdoor chairs around the pool.

Loved it, absolutely perfect

I stayed 2 nights with my family, the kids loved it, the rooms were spacious and comfortable, kids loved watching Netflix, my niece went in the pool even though we went in winter time. The owners are lovely and helpful. My family will definitely go back, we loved it. 5 stars

Game to go in the pool at winter. Maybe in few years we will look at heating? Great place to come in winter to see Snow Time in the Gardens. Lot cheaper than going down to Snowies and close to Sydney. We also have WiFi, Stan, YouTube and free to air TV apps.

We love the warmth!

Ducted heating for the cool, crisp June weather in Cessnock is a wonderful way to come back to this home away from home after touring some of the areas best cellar doors, cafes and restaurants. Comfortable beds, comfortable lounges. Great views of the surrounding mountain range from the front verandah and watch the balloons gain height as they take off from the back kitchen window. My family and friends love staying at this house.

The house has ducted heating and cooling throughout the upstairs apartment. Cessnock can get very hot in summer and very cold in winter. So whichever season that you come, you should always be comfortable.

Excellent Property- location brilliant- great views of the mountains

A great family home of good size with excellent layout. It had every item required to make travel easy, just bring clothes and food. Great comfortable beds and easy access to wifi. We highly recommend this property to others.

Sit on front balcony with a drink and enjoy the view of Brokenback Range. Close your eyes and listen to the birds at sunrise and dusk. Even have a water view on back balcony. It is called a swimming pool. Fully equipped house for your Hunter Valley stay close to the wineries in Pokolbin and Lovedale.

Unfortunately we didn’t really enjoy our stay... could’ve been better...furniture is very old. The property wasn’t clean at all so we barely used the kitchen... beds and towels were fresh and clean. Couches and carpets had stains. Great location and specious! Very close to the shops

Furniture is actually only three (3) years old. Will follow up cleaning with cleaner. Will get carpets professionally cleaned in the next month.

Great Stay

You won't find better for the price. Some older style furnishings but the lounges and beds are super comfy! Wifi was a little unpredicable at times and could have been better cleaned but very minor cons for many pros! Central location, large property, nice pool and yard.

We offer free Wifi, Netflix and Stan. Back in 2017 our Wifi was quite slow, but these days it is a lot more reliable. So if you have bad weather, there is plenty to keep you and your family and friends entertained inside.

Thanks Brooke! Appreciate feedback. We had Telstra technician come on 14/03/17 to fix cabling for internet so now it is consistent and constant. Old copper network is being replaced by NBN in next few months. Looking forward to change.

That's all you need for a family holiday

It was a nice, clean and spacious property; the salt water pool was awesome. My kids loved the place so much that they wanted me to make a booking for our next visit. David and Hillary was very welcoming and friendly couple.

Pool is huge for group and the shallow end is very accommodating to kids learning to swim as they can easily stand up. Cessnock can be very hot in summer and the swimming pool is great relief to cool down from the heat late in the afternoon. December 2016 we had a pergola built in the back yard to enjoy BBQ and entertaining and shade from the sun. January 2017 we updated the Entertainment Outdoor Table and 10 Cane Chairs under the Pergola.

Perfect for what we needed.

Large home that slept 11 of us.If you were really fussy about cleanliness it's not the place for you. Bathroom,bedding and linen were all fresh and clean. Will definitely book again for convenience.

We normally recommend eight (8) guests maximum but have flexibility to accept few extras if guest accepts bedding configuration and bathroom. The toilet is separate to bathroom. Informed cleaner about comments.

A spacious house, with a great location as very close to Pokolbin / The Gardens. Ideal for a big family / group of friends with kids.

It was great having your family stay Lise! We can arrange discounted Hunter Valley Garden tickets with your accommodation. During spring and summer the back yard swimming pool is a treat as the weather gets hotter. Hoping to be able to upgrade outdoor furniture around the pool in the next few months.
