This cottage is quiet but still allows you to be not too far from the local pubs, restaurants and again minutes drive to Award winning Wineries, Hunter Valley Zoo, Art Gallery and heaps more.

This cottage has 3 bedrooms all with Queen Beds so sleeping for 6 adults.
Although it sleeps up to size, we have pricing for 2 up to 6 so making it flexible and affordable.

This cottage has been renovated beautifully is spacious inside and has a great for entertaining space.

The cottage has spacious Lounge, kitchen, laundry, and a Large Bathroom with Shower, Bath, Toilet and an additional entertaining area and additional toilet.

All rooms have large wardrobes for those liking to make themselves at home for short stays or long stays.

Perfect house for work or play

Alices cottage is a beautiful little cottage.Our trip was work related 3 very comfortable queen beds and blackout curtains a must for night shift. Excellent location try the Pickled Pig butcher across road a counter meal from the Australian Pub or a pie from pie hole all within walking distance. Would love come back for the cottages proximity to the Hunter Vineyards. Thanks so much for hosting us.

Nice stay

Good communication with owner. Property is walking distance from amenities. The house was clean overall, however, when we open the door there was a very strong smell of curry and we had to keep the back door open most of our stay to get rid of the smell. Not ideal considering the cold in winter! Very comfortable mattresses and pillows. Nice to have heaters in every room. The only downside is the traffic noise from the main road in the two bedrooms at the front. BBQ was clean and kitchen fully equipped. There were biscuits and lollies and also shampoo and body wash for each person, a very nice touch from the owner. We recommend this property!

Very clean, great location

A lovely little cottage, close to shops, pubs and a short drive away from the vineyards. The place has WiFi, Netflix and Stan and all the amenities you need.

Very clean 3 bedroom accomodation

We was attending a wedding in the hunter so was looking for good value accomodation. The place was very clean and well appointed with everything we needed. Also the large mirrors in th bedroom,s were great for getting ready. The place was a little hot. There is air conditioning in the lounge and one bedroom. It was a particular hot day of 35

Wonderful for Winery Visits!

Alice’s cottage was exactly as viewed on HomeAway online.....lovely simple furniture that works. For us, it was like living life as the locals do. The kitchen was well equipped, beds comfy...no complaints! There were grocery stores nearby and wineries abound. Plus beautiful vistas on the local country roads taking us to the wineries. Alice’s Cottage . We encountered the severe bush fires and Naomi kept us up to date on fires in the area. A terrific stay!

Great Place

We had awesome time at Alice cottage and enjoyed hunter visit. The beds and lounge are comfy and tidy. The property has everything you need for a holiday, wifi, netflix, outdoor area, large backyard/play area, barbecue, parking and close to everything. I have no hesitation recommending Alice cottage.

Alices Cottage

We really enjoyed our short stay. House was clean and tidy and spacious. Also it was close to centre of town. It was a nice touch with the pamper packs on each bed and the basket of goodies in the kitchen. Would definitely stay again if we were to return to Cessnock. Only drawback was traffic noise but it was understandable as it was on main road.

Homely cottage

We enjoyed our stay at Alice’s cottage, centrally located to the attractions we wanted to see. Comfy beds and aircon warmed the house. Kitchen appliances worked well as we cooked our dinners at night, but a few more utensils wouldn’t go astray, a peeler and better tongs. Curtains on the front bedrooms would be good too as light from the street lights came through, the blinds weren’t quite dark enough. We would definitely recommend Alice’s.

Great spacious house

We had a great time staying at Naomi’s place, the house was spotless and the heating was on when we arrived which we were very grateful for as it’s such a cold time of year. The house was great and had everything we needed. We did find some of the bedrooms a little cold. But there was enough blankets and we loved the bathtub! The location was central and was an easy drive to the hunter valley gardens, (our reason for staying) The road is a bit noisy but it’s what you’d expect from the location. Other than that was a great stay, thanks.

Gorgeous cottage!

Beautiful welcoming cottage! Nice comfy beds and great linen. Little chilly and wifi was a bit temperamental but couldn’t fault communication and hospitality!!

the cottage was so nicely presented and the rooms felt much larger than the photos display! owner was so easy to get in contact with which was great! only downside was the lack of cooking utsenils but otherwise such a great place to stay!

Cute cottage house perfect location.

We had a great time staying at Alice's cottage. Everything we needed was available. 3 good sized bedrooms. Air con worked well, hot shower. Only downside was the noise being on the main road but the rest made up for it.

Great space, convenient to access wine region

Alices place is a really cute house. The room are huge and for us it was plenty of space to unwind after heading out to the vineyards in the day. There were some nice touches like the delicious cookies and everything was in immaculate condition. Thanks!

Really lovely, well presented home in a good location to the Hunter

This house was very well presented. It was very clean, modern, well equipped and spacious. The hot water was strong and long lasting. It was easy access and very close to all shopping and the Hunter. It does need stronger lighting in the lounge as another guest wrote, and a small milk on arrival would allow the tired traveller to have a cup of tea on arrival. All said and done we had a really great stay.

Clean, nicely presented but a title noisy due to the road.

The house is lovely and very clean and tidy with lovely bedding and presentation. We were a little disappointed with the presentation of the outside space as the furniture was covered in cobwebs and the cushions unclean. This outside space did not reflect the inside of the property which was spotless. The internet access was also difficult and only worked in one bedroom. They reason for not giving five stars is the master bedroom is on the road and the traffic was quite noisy early in the morning. Despite these small negatives for visiting Hunter Valley and having a base which was comfortable and well presented I would stay again.
