Whether it's a short drive to Megan's Bay for a beautiful day at the beach, a trip into Charlotte Amalie for some world class shopping, a night out to dinner at your choice of many fabulous restaurants, or just a day out exploring the island.

This place was great! Amazing views, comfortable living space, fully stocked kitchen. The bed in the primary bedroom was a little hard, otherwise it would have been 5 stars.

Carnival Vacation

We were very pleased with our accommodations. The property owners were easy to communicate with a very responsive. The property was clean and just as the pictures. Beautiful beach views, well stocked and spacious.Will definitely stay there again.

A Relaxing Stay At Down Island Time

Our thanks to Tricia and George for allowing us to stay at their wonderful condo - Down Island Time!!! From the spacious bedrooms to bathrooms with views to an incredibly well-appointed kitchen, we couldn't have asked for more! We particularly enjoyed the gas grill on the deck so we could grill our evening meals while watching the sunset. The views down island, particularly of Thatch Cay, St. John, and the BVIs were spectacular - also Hans Lollick! We often were awake for the sunrises which we watched from our bed or from our private bedroom deck. The car port parking space and cocktails in the upper pool were great! Many neighbors are full-time residents and are very friendly. We became acquainted with their dogs and toddlers during our 13-day stay. One night, we lost power. However, the condo's generator immediately kicked-in resulting in us having power and air conditioning. Tricia and George graciously arranged for an early check-in for us which we unfortunately were not able to take advantage of due to a flight delay. However, we greatly appreciated their willingness to arrange for it. They also provided excellent recommendations for local food places including North Side Grind which has awesome coffee, breakfast sandwiches, and lunches!Prior to our stay, they provided detailed written information regarding the condo and the area and they quickly responded to any questions we had. We would recommend a stay at Down Island Time to anyone!!!

Major Problem

Delays caused by landscape contractor resulted in cost impacts. I have submitted detailed Claim to AmEx. There does not appear to be any way to upload Claim files to this tool.Also, the condo kitchen was infested with ants. This was disclosed by the Owner 3 days prior to occupancy, well after all non-refundable charges were paid.

The best views!

Was perfect for what we wanted. 10 minutes to Magen’s Bay. Very thoughtfully stocked home. The views are even more beautiful in person than the beautiful ones in the photos. Spacious, open townhouse. We hope to be back!

Exceptional Property

Don’t hesitate to book a stay in this wonderful condo with one of the best views on the island. Centrally located in a gated community, the spot was terrific for visiting a bunch of different beaches to enjoy. The host had everything we needed, including beach, chairs, beach towels, a cooler and an umbrella. This is the first tropical trip we haven’t had to purchase at least something! Something also to note, power outages happen often on Saint Thomas and this property has their own back up generator, work like a charm.

Great views

All the views! It is worthwhile to stay here. I hate crowds and hotel noise. This place was solid and the community is so quiet. The views were positively heavenly. You are a ways from grocery stores and touristy attractions. But that is not a bad thing. The home does not have beach access but there is a pool a block up. It’s an island and it’s mountainous so you drive up and down to get across(on the left) Some hills are very steep. It’s not American-pedestrian friendly. Driving is your best bet. The home has everything you need. Private rooms, two baths, terraces, grill, TVs, towels, kitchen supplies. Make a pit stop at Moe’s before getting home and you’re good. We loved it. Do not hesitate. We would love to stay again. A+

Amazing property and breathtaking views

We took a spring break trip with our adult / college aged children. The property was awesome, and the hosts worked with us after a travel delay to extend our stay a day. Loved it and would highly recommend!!

St. Thomas Oasis

Incredible Location with view

The property was amazing. The pictures actually do not do justice to the view. Located about 20 minutes outside the capital this place was a quiet and comfortable escape. When we were not exploring the island we relaxed at the pool up the hill then came back to cook a quick meal, eat on the balcony overlooking the lush landscape and nearby islands then sit back and take advantage of the amble DVD collection. I would absolutely recommend this place.

Quiet stay

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Down Island Time. Condo was located about 20 minutes from the airport. Although there was no beach at the property we had a nice ocean view. The beaches, stores, and restaurants were about 20-25 minutes from the property. We rented a car during our stay which was really a necessity, I’m sure it could have been more expensive and longer times taking cans to the beaches, stores, and restaurants. There is no way we could have walked to those places on those hills. Our understanding was that the condo was part of the golf club and it had two pools. After several trips to find the golf course and the pools with no success, we asked the gate personnel for these. We were disappointed to hear from the gate personnel that there was no golf course anymore and only one pool was opened. Overall the condo was in good shape and equipped with mostly everything we needed. The air conditioner in the living room didn’t work on the first day of our stay and it kept blowing hot air. The owner acted quickly and he sent the technician the very next day to repair it. We didn’t have any issues after that. Overall the condo was clean except for lots of dust behind the bathroom and bedroom doors, and under the furniture (including dead bugs). The owners provided towels, beach towels, linens, beach chairs, and coolers which was a plus. We only wished they had provided an umbrella (which was really needed at the beaches) and some pool noodles.

Beautiful views!

My husband and I had a wonderful time at the condo. The views were absolutely stunning and the three balconies were great. The kitchen was well stocked and the condo had everything we needed for a beach day. St. Thomas is a beautiful island and this condo made our stay just perfect. It’s on the Northside of the island and it’s quiet and off the beaten path.

Estate Lovelund is a beautiful, quiet, and well-equipped condo. A real Caribbean gem!

We had a wonderful stay at Mahogany Run! The views from the condo were beautiful, complete with stunning views of the sunrise each morning. The condo was well-equipped to make home meals and having a washer and dryer in the unit was a huge plus. The central location kept everything within close driving range, and we felt very secure in the gated community. The pool was great for a quick dip in the morning when planning the day's activities, or when coming back from a full day of shopping. We loved spending time at Magen's Bay, which is just a short drive from the condo (the beach chairs and cooler were great to have available to use as well). We drove to Red Hook (about 15 minute) for several dinners, to Charlotte Amalie (about 15 minutes) for some shopping & general "touristy stuff," and we spent two very full days on St. John where we enjoyed some beach/ruins-hopping, and some snorkeling at Salt Pond Bay. We filled each day with off-site activities, but it was always great to come back to our comfortable home away from home! As hosts, George & Trisha were very responsive to any questions we had, including recs for restaurants, grocery, etc. Additionally, the neighbors we met were full-time residents of St. Thomas and they were all extremely kind and helpful. Having previously rented our own "home away from home," we surely appreciated George & Trisha sharing Estate Lovelund with us. Highly recommend!!

Another enjoyable stay on St Thomas

Enjoyed our second stay at George's VRBO on the northside of St Thomas. Beautiful views from balcony and very close to Magen's Bay beach. VRBO has beach towels & chairs, coolers, fully equipped kitchen and grill on the balcony. Everything you need for a great stay!

Mahogany Run Jewel

We have rented condos and houses in St. Thomas for the last 20 years. This condo is among the top two rentals we have experienced. Location is safe and very convenient to Magens Bay and lots of restaurants. The view is spectacular. The condo has everything we needed; appliances, beach chairs, cooler and towels, etc. Condo is beautifully decorated. Backup generator is a big plus. Owners were very responsive to questions.

Beautiful property

We loved our stay at this condo! The pictures don’t do it justice. We enjoyed coffee on our balcony every morning and watched the sunrise, just stunning. Everything was clean and well kept. We loved the coolers, beach chairs and umbrella. The owners have thought of everything. They were so helpful when the dvd remote didn’t work, they replaced the dvd player that same day!!! We would highly recommend this this property. You will not be disappointed.

We first fell in love with St Thomas while on a cruise with a large group of friends. We immediately knew it was the place for us. It is the perfect place for all of us to get away from the cold New York winters! Our original plan was to build a Villa and bought property in Mahogany Run...... but life happens and we still have the land but no Villa yet........but we do have a beautiful condo. We hope you will enjoy it as much as we do!
