Location location location

This was a very lovely place. I love the location as it is out of Kailua Kona, but near enough to go into town quickly. Clean and a reasonable price.

Perfect Couple Condo

This condo was perfect for two. Clean, comfortable, a great mattress for good sleep, and stocked with everything we needed, not only to cook, but to play on the beach. Pools and common areas were beautiful. Highly recommend!

Location location location

Great location easy to get where we wanted to go. Right on the water you can hear the ocean crashing against the rocks at night. There was a coffee pot issue but other than that we had an amazing week.

Wonderful Friendly Complex

This Unit Was Exactly As Advertised. It Had All The Comforts Of Home. Very Pretty Property With Great Views Of The Ocean. It Was Whale Season And We Really Enjoyed The Whale Watching.We Would Definitely Like To Return!

Wonderful Condo

We had a marvelous time at Casa del Emdeko. The condo was immaculate and we loved how close to the water we were. Two pools and a man made beach added to our fun. Fairly close to town. The property manager, Konacoastvacations.com, were marvelous. We will definitely go here again.

Wonderful place. Near elevator but noise was NOT a problem. Few minor problems with condo but they were fixed immediately. Great customer service by Kona Coast.

Great place to stay

We enjoyed our week in Kona. The views from the condo were wonderful. The other guests long term and owners were very nice. The staff at the condo complex were helpful and pleasant. Sunsets were amazing. My only issue was the bathroom had a musty smell when we arrived. Ended up being the shower curtain. I washed it and the bathroom was fine. We will definitely stay here again.

Overall Good

Condo was nothing fancy but clean and adequate. The Casa de Emdeko has beautiful landscaping, friendly residents and visitors, an amazing salt water pool overlooking the ocean, a beachy area with palm trees for relaxing, and very cute and sweet holiday rituals. There was a big Christmas Even potluck, a group of residents played Ukuleles, and we sang Christmas Carols. Only negative was the wi-fi in #225 never worked.

Pros and cons

PROS Reasonably priced. Comfortable bed. Great saltwater pool right on ocean. Key pad access no having to carry keys. Well stocked kitchen. Fast response to repair needed. No road noice and quite except for hearing loud tenant upstairs. Beautiful court yard. Wonderful long term tenants/owners who are very welcoming. CONS Dated. Balcony too hot after 8: am until about 4:00 from direct sunlight, need's sun screen like neighbors have. Washing machine needs tub wash and rubber ring cleaned. Won't start unless door shut just right. Bathroom fan needs cleaning. No wet mop. Bathtub would be nice. Good for 2 people , would be tight with 4. Parking inside gate usually full after 6:00 pm.

Lovely garden and pool overlooking the ocean

Nice central location away from the noise of Kailua Kona for your Hawaiian vacation. We woke up to the sound of the surf crashing against the lava-rock shore and were greeted by friendly birds that fly into our lanai! We would definitely stay again!

Beautiful grounds and relaxed living

We love this property because the grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The condo was so comfortable and affordable. We also love the saltwater pool located right on the oceans edge.

This unit is located in a beautiful complex that offers a nice pool and a small beach-like area in front of the ocean. You'll find everything you need to enjoy your stay. Beach chairs, umbrella, cooler , etc.

This is a Gem!

We loved our stay! Casa de Emdeko is a gem! The complex is close to town, right on the waterfront, and central to all the activities of Kona and the big island. Casa has lovely mature landscaping and two pools and a Cabana gathering area with BBQs. The salt water pool is my favorite, just feet away from the ocean, so it feels like an infinity pool. It is a gated, secure complex and we felt completely safe. The residents shared the Aloha spirit. We enjoyed the sunset ritual of the blowing of the Pu...folks gathered at the sea wall to watch the sun set and blow the conch shells. The unit is near the elevator and very accessible, no steps to negotiate. This unit is kept in great condition, clean, fully equipped, and well organized. The A/C worked very well and we were always comfortable. The bed is comfortable and the sheets really nice for a good sleep. It was nice to have in-unit washer and dryer. The dryer was not functioning well, so I sent a note to the management and they were very responsive servicing it right away. I was very impressed. My one recommendation would be to install shades on the lanai. The heat of the direct sun makes it impossible to enjoy for most of the day. We had to draw the inner shades which only closes in the living spaces off from the lovely views all the day. I see that most of the other units have lanai shades. I highly recommend this vacation rental!

I was pleasantly surprised for the price. I prefer to spend my money on events snorkeling, fishing, etc…. I looked for something low cost, and it had so much to offer; cooler, beach Matt, portable chairs, and much more. I would stay here again. Some improvements sliding glass door a little tricky stuck, honestly the improvements did not bother me this was a great place to stay.
