Set near Charlestown, the main town of Nevis, Nelson Spring resort offers accommodations with private pool, private parking, Wi-Fi and CableTV. The air-conditioned accommodation is 2 km from St.Kitts-Nevis car ferry and 7 km from the local airport.
The resort is situated on the picturesque west cost of Nevis, overlooking the calming waters of the Caribbean Sea. The resort was named after British Admiral Lord Horatio Nelson who was born on Nevis and watered his ships from the nearby spring during 1700s.
The condo has 2 bedrooms (master bedroom with queen bed and child’s bedroom with 2 twins), 2 bathrooms and 1 toilet. The condo has dramatic unobstructed view of the Caribbean Sea, the mountain Nevis Peak and the sister island of St.Kitts.
Elegant and spacious floor plan offers the convenience of two level living. The first floor comprises of an open plan Italian build-in kitchen with all modern stainless steel appliances (fridge/freezer, dishwasher, stove and microwave) and a spacious living room opening onto a screened dining area, ideal for al fresco dining. 2 bedrooms with bathrooms make up the second floor. The master bedroom French doors open up onto a small balcony where spectacular sunsets and stunning views over the Caribbean Sea and the island of St.Kitts can be enjoyed. Laundry facilities are located under the accommodation.
Take pleasure in the warm Nevis sun from the oversized pool with swim up bar that are step away from the white&black sands of the Clifton Beach. All this surrounded by lush tropical gardens and gentle water ways. Closest casual dining is available at the Yachtsman Grill where grilled lobsters, fresh fish and and steaks are served at lunchtime and diner. Right across the road is the Indian Summer restaurant and next door – the famous Coconut Grove Bar&Lounge. There are a lot of sport activities nearby.
There is something about this small, sombrero-shaped island that grabs you. The charm and tranquility takes you back to a time when things were simple, when life was peaceful.

Wonderful beachfront property - the best condo in Nelson Spring. Steps to the beach and the pool. Barefoot Bar next door was excellent, as was Indian Summer across the road. Get water, or refill jugs at Nelson Spring Water across the street for cheap.We couldn't believe how quiet the area was - often the only ones in the pool at high season (end Jan/early Feb).Property manager was excellent and very accomodating. Dealing with the host before the trip made me wonder, but the manager was wonderful.Excellent location on Nevis - central to everything we wanted to see and easy to get taxis everywhere.

Nice, different experience

It was our first time to Nevis—took a couple days to acclimate—but after that, we enjoyed ourselves & like the island. Good food, nice people, BEAUTIFUL scenery…….

Incredible View

This property has so much to offer. The view is the best. The proximity to the water can’t be beat. Onsite restaurant is delicious. The pool is clean and has beautiful view of beach. The property manager is amazing. He went above and beyond for us. I will be heck.

Super Location

This group of condos is directly on the sandy beach and allows for long walks both directions. There is a good restaurant on the property and an Indian one across the street. Pool is clean. We will return when possible.

The property is run down. they started doing repairs on the outside. should up date the picture of the outside it looks alot older

Dear Raymond, Thank you for your review. From the one hand you are right. The common arears were run down. And you are right to mark it as 3 stars. I have never listed it as 5 stars. But you saw yourself that HOA is doing a lot to renovate it to bring back to the standart. To change pictures every time when the palm is broken looks odd. From the other hand I didn't rent you the whole property, only my unit. Based on the price (250 usd/night/2 bedrooms/4 people, i.e. 62/night/person) you've got what you rented. I would add your own words about our unit 1A taken from our correspondance. On 22 Feb you wrote: I have to start off to see your staff are wonderful. We enjoyed our stay in Nevis. Your condo was nice. Your charming wife added the next day: the condo was nice and spacious. So, every cloud has it silver lining. Anyway, thank you for staying with us and hope to see you back when the outside territory will be renovated. Best wishes, Edward

Avoid this place do to so many things wrong

1-Ripped Screens of which I had to repair one myself and the main master bedroom was not. We rented this place to leave the doors open to the screened in room so we can get a breeze and hear the ocean. It is Day 9 and it is not fixed and not what we paid for 2-There is a note about not sleeping one night because the upstairs thermostats were not working 3- Refrigerator not working. A repairman came. After he left the refrigerator was covered in moisture and water and we had to throw out about $75 in food. (He refuses to credit) 4-A second night we did not sleep because the master bedroom sink “whistled” loud due to it being defective. 5- When we arrived the couches downstairs had a mold and mildew smell. We could not use the living room the first night because my wife’s breathing was affected and we had to stay either in the bedroom or on the porch with the broken screens 6-We had a waterfalls coming down the staircase because the guest shower was not kept up and leaked. A repairman came to put caulking. That made the bedroom and bathroom smell very bad for the night. (again, no sleep) 7-A very serious problem dealt with a 10-year-old that visited and the television. While here we did not turn on the television. We had friends come visit with a 10-year-old. We sat out on the porch and told him to turn the television on and find something to watch. After about 5 minutes he was very quiet and checking in on him we found he was watching full graphic pornography!

Dear Tab, What you did say is absolutely a lie. I have stayed myself after only 3 days after you. All was good except very small things. I can easily can find the same bugs in your home if I visit. The reason for such a review I believe that you wanted to get money back for your stay using my property. It's not fair. Edward

Nevis is a beautiful island and this exemplified by the view from the screened patio, which is excellent for watching the sunset while enjoying the breeze.
