Great base camp near Estes Park and the greater Denver area

Beautiful home in quiet, nice neighborhood. Great kitchen area for multiple people prepping meals or to-go lunches. Lots of space for everyone to spread out and do their own activity. We enjoyed movie night and meals together. Our group (2 couples and 2 individuals) all had their own bedroom. (We would have liked room darkening window coverings so we could sleep in. The bright sunlight woke most of us up around 5:30 am everyday.)We highly recommend this home. It is beautiful and met all our accommodation needs. Property management is very responsive.

Functional, not enjoyable

check in/neighborhood is nice, very close homes with practically no yards. When we walked in we noticed an odor throughout the house, kind of like a wet dog smell. There was no such wifi listed with the name we were given. I contacted PM, they told us we could reset it in the basement. Thankfully we had a techie person with us. He was able to reset it and find the proper password so that it could be used. I was told the "last people" did something with it that messed it up. The main TV didn't work for streaming, couldn't connect to internet. Throughout the stay we were finding just little things, lots of lightbulbs burned out, baseboards loose or leaning in the walls, auto trash can lid doesn't work so you basically have to leave it open, micro turntable doesn't work so it doesn't heat quick or evenly. It is not very kept up, lots of areas need small repairs, the deck is disconcerting because it sags, a lot. There is one bath towel per person, a couple small towels and thats it. On the 2nd day, I looked under the kitchen sink to get a dish tab and there was an overflowing bucket of sludgy water that we realized was part of the smell. My husband emptied that because we weren't interested in repairs while we were there. It was a very slow leak so that tells me it hadn't been emptied in a very long time. I have stayed at a number of short term rentals and this is the worst maintained one, feels very much like give us your money and we dont care about your comfort.

Okay

Not being able to use the back porch wasn’t the best, but the house itself was solid. It got hot with the sun and limited A/C control but it was fine at night.

Meeting the New Granddaughter

The home provided ample room and beds. The furnishing are nice and we had a great home base during our stay. I was disappointed in the Mountain View’s. Like so many homes in this area- the view is obstructed by other homes. This home, more than most. There are some restrictions about the property you should check out before renting. We were able to discuss and work around them but they are different.

Family trip

We (2 adults, 4 teens, 2 children) stayed at the property for a trip to see family. The house is exactly as pictured, in a nice suburban neighborhood with a lovely park right down the street. Close to many amenities and a quick 20 min trip to Boulder. We did have one unpleasant experience with the neighbor mentioned in reviews. She gave my teenagers dirty looks and made them feel unsafe. The lower level heat or radiant heat wasnt working upon arrival and the host was very responsive, fixing it immediately. We had plenty of dishes, blankets, pillows. There is one towel and washcloth per person, but I do laundry on every trip so this wasnt a concern for us. (We also had a large group). I would absolutely stay here again!

Good location

The home was nice but a little worn down. The wrap around couch was broke in the corner. We arrived at the home a little after 3 when you are allowed to check in. About 15 minutes later a repairmen showed up to repair something in the attic. The repair man did not want to come in when he found out I was just renting but then the property manager called me directly to tell me to let him in. It was very awkward and we had planed to go out and could not leave until he was done so we were late to our event. The property manager said he was going to come but he never did. It was very frustrating. I feel they could of scheduled the repair at a time when guest were not there.

Wish we could have been out on the deck

62 degrees and a Sunny day, but we weren't permitted to use the deck. That was not know when we booked the house.

Christmas 2023

The home was nice. Missing some essentials..no toilet paper, no dish soap, hand soap dispensers empty. Not enough kitchen towels, no kitchen washcloths, just crusty old sponges. Bedding wasn’t washed, white stains on two of them noticed.

Wedding weekend

This is a nice big house in a quiet neighborhood to stay with our family for a wedding weekend. There are a few things that could be given some attention to by the hosts. They are fixable. That being said, if you have a large family and need a place to stay in this area this house was a nice size and the layout is nice and we could spread out.

Thanksgiving weekend

The manager was easy to communicate with we were allowed to check in two hours early and check out later. The kitchen had more than enough pots , pans , kitchen utensils, coffee cups and wine glasses. We would definitely stay there again.

Great Property

This was a very nice property. Well located between Denver and Estes Park. Everything was clean and well maintained. Property Manager responded promptly when we had a minor issue.

Beautiful home, perfect location!

The home was beautiful and spacious giving us all of our own space, beds and bedrooms very comfortable. We had a few questions that were answered in a timely matter, great communication! Although the weather did not cooperate and much as we had hoped the view was outstanding. Close to the airport and outdoor activities. Highly recommend this property for a family visit, we had had a great time!

Wedding weekend

We came for my nephew’s wedding and this location was close to a lot of different things. If you are looking to be in the middle of the hustle and bustle, this is not the place for you. However, if you want a quiet place to go to after a day of sightseeing or activities, this is a great place. Views are beautiful and neighborhood was a great place to run/walk. The house fit all of our needs for a wedding weekend. Very easy check in and host was very responsive.

Just like home

Very comfortable home, nice location, lots of room. Close to lions gate event center was there for my granddaughter's wedding very conveniently located.

Very Pleasant stay!

Overall, we had a great and pleasant stay! The property is located in a quite neighborhood and close to children’s park, some stores and restaurants. The property is overall well maintained but we thought there could be a more deeper cleaning specially under the couches, we wouldn’t notice it if it weren’t for our kid playing with cars.

Beautiful area

The home was nice, but could benefit from upstairs carpet cleaning. It would have been nice to have more than 4 washcloths available since we had 6 guests. I would like to have had more than 1 pillow per person available too. We had issues with nest thermostat (in the middle of the night it automatically changed to 82 degrees- not fun in the summer!) Overall beautiful home but could be improved with the above suggestions.
