Wonderful place

My husband and two small kids stayed for a wonderful week here. The place was beautiful, the staff super friendly, the host very responsive, and the location amazing. We would definitely come back!

Wonderful little gem!

Carla's place was a wonderful find! Access to the hotel amenities/pool/bar, and right on the beach- with the amazing view right from porch- perfect! Great neighborhood style location, but did wish there were more dining options a little closer, but there are a ton within like a 20 min walk. (teens get moody when they are hungry lol!). Having the kitchen is wonderful! Carla very responsive and gracious!

Just amazing

We had a great week. Everything was perfect. Location is super safe. The beach and ocean was fantastic. The condo was clean, stocked with everything you need. Carla was very helpful and easy to reach.

Loved it!

We spent 5 nights at this condo. The view is amazing and the condo was great. Carla, the host, was a great communicator and helped us immediately with any questions or recommendations of things to do, how to get there, etc. I highly recommend.

Very good beachfront apartment with services

The apartment is very comfortable and well-equipped. Carla and Lupita were attentive to all the details. The best thing is the location and the possibility of taking advantage of all the resort's services. That certainly made a difference.

Amazing Location

This place was great. It is right on the beach! playacar is beautiful and you can walk for miles on the beach. The condo was spacious and fit my family of 6. 5th ave is a 15 minute walk with tons of food options and its super easy to get a cab to go anywhere in the city. Pools and hot tub were great and the property was wonderfully maintained. Just for reference, the resort area is for an older crowd - I don't think I saw more than one other kid besides my own, but the people there were amazing. Would stay here again and would recommend to friends. Thank you for a great stay!

Great stay. There was a fresh fruit basket and a 5 gallon water jug upon arrival. Unit cleaned once during week long stay with fresh linens and water. Excellent resort staff. Pool toys, sand toys, kayak, paddle board or sail boat all for free. On site Italian dinner restaurant was ok but the welcome reception local food buffet was excellent. Playa within walking distance for more variety of dinner. Great place!

Highly recommend this place!

Our stay was wonderful. If you want to experience a more intimate resort feel thank a large cattle heard, this is your place to stay. Steps from the beach you can enjoy all the things a huge resort offers without the massive crowds. Our room was very clean, air conditioner worked great and everything is within walking distance (shops, restaurants) and easy access to taxis. Our hostess Lupita was spectacular ! She assisted us in any excursions our family were interested in, she was very attentive and hospitable. She made wonderful recommendations of places to visit and eateries. We would stay here again!

Carla was very accommodating and had excellent recommendations for travel and activities. Our teens loved the restaurant, snack bar and volleyball. We loved the beautiful walk through Fase 1 and Fase 2. We enjoyed the vibe of Playacar. Fifth Ave was an easy and safe 15 min walk from the condo. The actual condo has a lot of stair climbing required. It was a great condo for our week long family vacation.

Luxury and Paradise in Playa - This is the place to stay

This property is top notch. I can't recommend this place enough.1.The condo is so comfy. Master b/r on the top floor with gorgeous views of the CS. Priv deck on the main floor w/ amazing views of the CS. This condo has all the amens U could want. Carla makes sure all the lil deets are perf for a very comfy stay. Our kids had their own room and bthrm. very private made it easy 2 take naps or sleep in. 2.The beach here is the best along the entire RM.Lots of beautiful fine sand leading up to the classic turq H2O of the CS. The beach isn’t eroded away like U see at a lot of other places. On top of that,feels like a private beach.If U look at the big resorts, the beaches are super-packed. Not @ SF. Plenty of beach/pool chairs avail w/out having 2 wake up early and fight for a spot.3.SF is an amazing boutique hotel. U want to grab a cocktail and have lunch at the beach? Massage? This is the place. The dinner and breakfast restaurant are outstanding. The dinn menu rotates every night (French, Caribbean, Ital, Mex, etc). But, U don’t need to eat all your meals at these restaurants if U don’t want 2. Carla’s condo has a kitchen. You can make meals at home (the grocery store Ched Selecto in PDC was as nice as Wholefoods). 4.The location. So close to PDC (100s of great restaurants) but feels like it could be a 100 miles away with how low-key and quiet/safe this neighborhood is.

BETTER DOES NOT EXIST ! PERFECT ! WONDERFUL ! WE WILL COME AGAIN !

We have rented several vacation houses, but I have to say that this location is the best we have ever had !!!! First: the owners: SO KIND !! We have had lot of exchanges with Carla, before, during and after the rental. She is very available, answers very quickly to ALL questions, give advices, etc.... A WONDERFUL owner.... Second: the resort: Fishermen is heaven on earth. Located ON the beach, in a secured property, with very nice pools, pool bar, deck chair, ocean view from the pool, .... All services (except food/drinks) are included: bikes, canoe, catamaran, volley ball, yoga, aquagym, ..... All the Staff is SO NICE.... From the resort, you can walk to downtown (15min) Third: the flat. Second and last floor. A large Duplex with AMAZING Ocean view, from the living room, from the balcony, and from the main sleeping room upstairs. A/C works fine. The flat is very convenient: Media Player with music on HDD, TV with netflix, dishwasher, large fridge with freezer, microwaves oven, etc..... WE REALLY ENJOYED OUR STAY IN THE RESORT, IN THIS FLAT, AND OUR EXCHANGES WITH CARLA. WE WILL DEFINITIVELY COME AGAIN. THANKS TO CARLA XAVIER & SOPHIE

Beautiful and convenient location

We had a lovely stay at Carla's condo. The condo itself was clean and spacious. It was so nice to be right on the beach without being at a giant resort with tons of people. I enjoyed my coffee with a lovely view on the balcony, but even the view from inside was nice. My kids loved the pool. Thank you Carla!

Our long weekend stayed

We had great time at playa . The apartment was clean , views where nice , everything as described! Carla is very nice and attentive. Check in/out was easy. Apartment was clean!! We had breakfast once at the resort (extra $) options were good . The pool and beach where nice. If you walk to town from the beach is about 15/20 min . From the street is about 20/25 min . It was our first time in Playa , and we always felt safe , even at 1am !! We used taxis All the time , very safe , and normally prices are already set. And most drivers are very nice! We ate out all the time , we went to the oasis (did not like it ) we ate at tropical , it was good, but our favorite place was Karen’s , we had breakfast snacks n drinks … always very good! (All restaurants at 5th Ave) we took the Ferry to Conzumel , very easy/simply and safe. It leaves every hour. I recommend to buy only one way ticket , because coming back you don’t know which company (which there is 2 of them) will be next. Overall our time in playa was great! The apartment was excellent!!! Close to everything but far enough!!

Great venue, staff and location

Carla was an excellent communicator and took care of a few issues we had with the air conditioning. The resort is small and quaint and an easy 7 minute walk to town. The restaurant is ok - we did not do all inclusive as we wanted to be able to eat out. Met a lot of nicepeople who go theree regularly.
