Beachy condo with garden and ocean views

As of July 1, 2025, we are a No Resort Fee property. All resort amenities, including daily on-site activities, WiFi and parking for one car, are included in the nightly rate. No surprises at check in!
Papakea H206 is a nicely appointed 2-bedroom, 2-bath condo that can accommodate up to 6 guests. Situated on the 2nd floor, you'll enjoy the views, spacious bedrooms, and a fully stocked kitchen. It has one window A/C in the living area and gorgeous ocean and garden views. The ceramic tile and Canadian Maple Laminate floorings give the unit an airy and beachy feel. Take advantage of our laid back yet elegant condo that also includes a full suite of kitchen appliances, washer, and dryer, ceiling fans, free WiFi, Bluetooth enabled speaker and TVs in the living room and master bedroom. Enjoy a huge California King size bed in the master bedroom and the second bedroom features a Queen size bed. For two more guests, there is a pull-out couch in the main living area with a very comfortable 6” thick Queen size mattress.

This unit also supplies a portable crib for families that are bringing along their infant for their paradise family getaway. If you like to play we have all the toys including putters and golf balls, board games, beach chairs and more. There is a wonderful sandy beach walking distance from the condo. Beach sand levels can vary based on the conditions. Note: parking for a second car is $5/night.

Papakea Resort offers lush tropical landscaping, koi lagoon ponds, oceanfront saltwater pools, hot tubs, shuffleboards, golf greens, pickleball, and tennis courts! It is located just North of the famous Ka'anapali Beach. Walk to nearby local shops, cafes, restaurants, and grocery stores. It is a quick drive to Whalers Village and many of Maui's top beaches like Kaanapali, Napili Bay, and Kapalua Bay.

*** Notice of Property Plumbing Project***
Papakea Resort is performing a property-wide plumbing project and you may hear some noise during this time. Standard work hours for this project will be from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday unless authorized for weekend work with any louder tasks being avoided until 10:00 am.. We have decreased rates during these dates to compensate for any inconvenience. Only two of the ten buildings are involved at any given time.The project will be completed in June 2026.

Awesome place! Stunning views and beautiful sunsets. I have nothing but great things to say. Just one negative but not a deal breaker and that is mainly the bathroom areas need a good detail cleaning. It wasn’t dirty just I am a detail person. I would definitely stay in the exact same apartment again.

Perfect Staycation!

This was a perfect staycation for me and my family!We weren't able to leave the island for my kids summer break but this was the next best thing! Location of property is in walking distance of many restaurants and shops. Our room had a wonderful view of the garden area and pond with the ocean in the backround.At night that view looks magical with the pool being lit up with blue lights in the water.My kids enjoyed the putting green and shuffle board and we got to spend quality family time together going on beach walks and dinner together. Unit was stocked with everything one would need to prepare a meal as if you were at home . During mid day bedrooms got a little warm but you have the option to open the windows letting the crosswinds flow thru the unit, we used that time of day to go and explore the property grounds. The units managment team communicated with me every stap of the way before during and after insuring me that someone was always available if i needed anything even though we were still on our home island we were treated no different and got the full vacation experience thanks to the my perfect stays team and wonderful unit and location.

We Love Papakea But…

This unit has a window unit in the living room with a timer. The primary bedroom does not have AC and is all windows with just a sheer curtain so the sun beats into it all day and we could never, ever cool it down. The AC filter light was on so maybe that would have helped, I’m not sure. Neither of the floor flans provided worked very well and were super old. We were just so hot. It would do wonders just to put black out curtains in the primary bedroom to help cool it during the day so it wasn’t such a struggle while sleeping at night. Also, the dishwasher smelled like rotten milk. We could barely open it during our stay because it made the entire apartment stink. It was also clearly very old. The location, unit, and everything else provided was great and I hate not to give someone five stars but it does need some updates.

A fantastic holiday

The room was fantastic. It is nothing overly fancy and perhaps a little dated, but it is an amazing location and very clean. We will definitely come back.

Papakea Resort

Amazing property and great amenities. We enjoyed the pool, access to the beach, putting green and shuffle board. We also enjoyed the view of the ocean and all the whales. The only issue we had with our stay was the beds. If you are accustomed to sleeping on a firm mattress you will have no issues. These beds are the most firm mattresses we have ever slept on. This was the only issue with our stay. The condo is well equipped and the views are incredible. We went back through the reviews and no one else mentioned the firmness of the beds. So it may get be just our opinion. The staff at this condo are amazing and helpful. Overall it was an amazing stay and we will definitely want to go back to this condo if we go back.

We love Papakea

Great resort and great Condo. It was a little warm in the unit as it had a direct view of the afternoon sun and the ac was a bit inadequate. I had to conduct maintenance on the ac unit. The filter was dirty and it’s much too small of an ac for that unit. My Perfect Stays was very accommodating and addressed our few issues satisfactorily. My only suggestion would be to add blinds in the master bedroom similar to the living are to help keep the room cooler. Otherwise it was a great stay and a very clean unit!

A slice of Paradise

We went as a family and had a wonderful stay. The condo is very well equipped. The beds were great. They had a few beach toys to play with. It was very helpful having a washer and dryer in the unit. The people who work the desk at the resort were so kind and helpful. On our way there our luggage did not arrive in Hawaii with us. The airline dropped it off at a different resort (I had air tags in the luggage and could see where it was) The resort staff drove me around until someone "found" our luggage at the other resort. The Ocean view was spectacular. Sunsets were phenomenal. We loved being able to listen to the ocean waves at night. We lost power one night so it was really dark and the sounds of the waves were so relaxing. They are located across the street from a little grocery store and just down the road from some great food trucks. I just wished someone would have told us about the cinnamon roll store in front of the resort sooner. (Be there early) My two complaints is are silly ones. I just wished it had something to wipe the floors down with besides a broom. The other one is I wish the cleaning people would check the sink traps. They were full of hair and the sinks would not drain. Overall this trip and condo was amazing and we would return there in a heart beat.

Great condo for a family

Overall this condo was a great stay for our family. I rated it 4/5 stars mainly due to the poor communication with the property management company. I called and emailed multiple times during a weekend to no avail. Finally I had to choose the emergency option on their phone tree to get ahold of someone. Other than that, I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean and fun development to spend your vacation at. We did the free yoga one morning which was fun. We also utilized the pool and hot tub several days/nights and it was amazing. The grounds are spotless and workers are around always cleaning so you know a lot goes into this place. Our unit had everything we needed to spend just over a week there. Great location next to food truck park and grocery store. We'd visit and stay here again if given the opportunity.

Relaxing & Fun Vacation - Highly Recommend!

Simply put, we had a wonderful vacation in Maui at Papakea Resort, staying in Suite H206. Excellent suite, resort, and location. I loved the friendly atmosphere of the resort. All the grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. We played pickleball every day and enjoyed long walks along the beach and boardwalks. We could not get enough of the view from our suite, H206. It overlooks the gardens and koi ponds as well as the ocean. A real tropical panorama! The suite, decorated in pretty blues and greens, is comfortable and has all the amenities. We especially enjoyed the well-appointed kitchen which made cooking a breeze. It features new stainless appliances, quality pots and pans, and pretty dishes! As for location, we could walk for groceries and picked up delicious pineapples and papayas at the farmer's market. We were within an easy drive of beaches for snorkelling and boogie-boarding as well as walks and hikes. With good weather to go along with everything else, this was an ideal vacation. Would we go back? Definitely.

A tropical treat!

We spent one week in H206 in the Papakea Resort. The condo was spacious, very clean and well equipped. Appliances were new and the condo even had beach chairs, sand toys and other things needed for a day out. The large lanai looks over a koi pond, with a view of the pool and the ocean. The grounds are pristine and the pool was a comfortable refreshing temperature for the weather. The hot tub was hot, which is unusual for big hot tubs allowing the jets to relax the muscles. We used the pickleball courts daily, sometimes in the evening as they are lit up. The location had easy access to a grocery store and beaches. I would definitely return in a heart beat.

H206 Papakea - A Great Condo in a Beautiful Setting

We feel so fortunate to have found this condo. It is well appointed, with contemporary decor and up-to-date, comfortable furniture. The kitchen has all the necessary equipment, dishes and cutlery. It was such a treat to cook with quality pots, pans, etc. (not what we usually find in rentals). Grocery stores and restaurants are within easy walking distance. The pool is a generous size. The pool, hot tub and all common areas are very well maintained. Best of all, it is close to the water with a stunning ocean view.

Destination Wedding

We stayed at Papakea while in Maui for a destination wedding. The unit was very clean and had a nice view of the pool and ocean. The location was excellent with easy access to all of our activities.

Beautiful stay in paradise

The location, amenities and comfort at our stay were all first rate. We had everything we needed - facilities for meals, comfy beds and views from the master BR and lanai/deck to the ocean, pool, swaying palms and putting area were amazing. We watched whales spouting and breeching from the lanai daily, and made good use of the facilities, like pickleball, the putting green, bbq, and pool/hot tub. Many beach walks, snorkeling and boogie boarding were on the menu. Highly recommended for a fun and comfortable stay by the beach!

Five Star

Condo was nice, quiet location for the most part (one night of noisy neighbors) but we enjoyed everything Papakea had to offer. Our condo had sand toys for the kids, chairs, and an umbrella which was nice to be able to use. I would definitely return for another stay.

Perfect location. North to surfing and snorkeling. South to shop. Balcony on 2 nd level facing the ocean The gardens are beautiful and love the koi in the pond. The suite was newly furnished and very comfortable. Lovely company along with a stay in Maui. Who could want anything more.

The perfect spot

We loved sitting on the lanai and watching the ocean and all the people enjoying the grounds. The kitchen is well appointed and the spacious living areas were comfy and inviting. It was perfect week in the perfect spot. We will be back!

Time on the beach

We really enjoyed our stay on this property. The property and surroundings were immaculate. The sunsets were magnificent. The grounds were beautiful with koi swimming around the water lillies in the ponds - the peaceful sounds of the fountains splashing - paradise

Very nice!

It was clean and comfortable, had everything we needed, and was conveniently located. When we had a problem with the air conditioner it was addressed immediately. I would recommend and we would stay again. Very nice!

Pool and sunset

We enjoyed our stay. We appreciated snorkeling gears and golf clubs/balls that were provided. The whole property of Papakea Resort doesn't border any swimmable/snorkelable beach, but we saw gorgeous sunset in the evening and the rainbow in the morning! We had fun trying different beach every day, all within 20 minutes of driving.

Great property and great location!

We had an amazing week at this condo. Especially loved opening the windows at night and listening to the ocean, the whale watching and the fact we saw sea turtles right on the shore! Comfy beds and well-equipped kitchen were a plus! I would stay here again!
