Papakea G207 is a 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom condo on the second floor and can accommodate up to 4 guests. Featuring a recently upgraded kitchen and bathroom with beautiful finishes. Unwind in the comfortable living room with new flooring throughout the condo. A sofa that converts into a queen-size sleeper with a new mattress. Stay cool with a new split AC unit and ceiling fans enhancing air circulation throughout the unit. A new 48" wall mounted Samsung HD flat screen TV and Blu-ray DVD player provided for your entertainment needs. Kitchen upgrades include a new refrigerator, stove, microwave and coffee maker. The bedroom features a CAL-KING mattress with a new 3" Novafoam Gel memory foam topper, new table lamps, and a wall mounted flat screen HD TV. The bathroom is steps away and refresh in the walk-in shower, providing convenience and style. This condo also offers an in-room safe, a washer/dryer for your convenience, and two putters and golf balls for use on the putting greens just outside in the common area.

At Papakea G207 you will enjoy spectacular ocean views! Relax on your spacious lanai where you can observe the majestic neighboring island of Molokai or catch one of Maui's breathtaking sunsets.

*** Notice of Property Plumbing Project:
- Papakea Resort is performing a property-wide extensive plumbing project and you may hear some noise during this time. Work in this unit begins August 26th, 2025, with an estimated completion for this unit projected on or around September 24th, 2025.
- Standard work hours for this project will be from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday unless authorized for weekend work.
- Contractors will be present on the property to begin quieter preparatory tasks as early as 7:00 AM.
- To minimize possible disruption, louder tasks will not start before 10:00 AM.
- Dates are subject to change. Not all units will be affected at the same time.
- We have been notified that the project is pending completion around June 2026. We have decreased rates during these dates to compensate for any inconvenience. ***

Papakea Resort offers lush tropical landscaping, koi lagoon ponds, oceanfront saltwater pools, hot tubs, shuffleboards, golf greens, pickleball, and tennis courts! It is located just North of the famous Ka'anapali Beach. Walk to nearby local shops, cafes, restaurants, and grocery stores. It is a quick drive to Whalers Village and many of Maui's top beaches like Kaanapali, Napili Bay, and Kapalua Bay. Parking is free for one vehicle; additional vehicles are $5/day. This fee is collected by the Resort's Front Desk staff upon arrival.

View from the balcony was great. AC was not running properly, ran all the time, and was noisy. Unit could be cleaned better and furnished better.

our stay in Paradise

The Papakea is a great family resort! It has spacious beautiful grounds, big pools, and lots of green space for the kids to run around. This unit had a nice view of pool and ocean it was comfortable accommodation for our young family of 4. Would definitely come back to stay here again!

Clean, nice view, needs updating

My overall opinion is stay here if you get a good rate. It was clean, comfortable and has a good whale watching balcony. My main criticism is that the listing says “many updates”. I stayed in 2 other units on the property that both had many more. This place had weird fluorescent lighting panels in the kitchen, what seemed like some sort of old vinyl flooring, and super janky carpet in the bedroom. The bathroom shower seemed new.

The only reason for not a 5 star is the kitchen has not been updated. Fairly equipped. The view was perfect. Bed comfortable. The booking agent, My Perfect Stays, was exceptional. I would book this property again.

Amazing

We loved this place! Beautiful view ! You can play some mini golf ⛳️ and swim or even relax in the hot tub ! We use the TV at night and it didn’t have cable if that was cable it super basic not an issue for us but we did hear people complaining about wanting to watch a game… Had an odd experience with the people who stayed next door we over herd them talking about our door code because they stayed their before so we alerted the front desk and they contacted the mgr and in less then 20 minutes we had a locksmith knocking on our door to reset the code!! It was kind of a bummer with the people next door they smoked cigarettes which isn’t allowed your only allowed to smoke in the parking lot they have a map where you can if you do. We loved the ABC store that was and hop and skip away they have good breakfast doughnuts and other food!! This place is a win win.

Great location

G207 offers good views of the ocean from the lanai and is close to the pool and barbecue grill area. The unit needs to be updated. My Perfect Stays came in during our stay to measure for new kitchen appliances, which are definitely needed. The carpet in the bedroom is really old and dirty and should be removed. The same is true for the area rug in the living area. The bedroom closet doors should be replaced as they are old painted wood and difficult to slide open and closed. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils, dishes, etc. Appreciated the extra paper products and dishwasher and washing machine detergent and dryer sheets provided for our two-week stay.

Perfect Location and Amenities

We couldn't have found a better place to stay with an epic view, all the amenities we needed, comfortable bedding, between all our favorite beaches and restaurants, and walkable to ABC Store, groceries and coffee!

The resort was great. It was well maintained and very clean

First, we would stay in the resort again. However, room g207 is a little dated and we never got to use all of the perks (snorkeling, golf, tennis,etc) we only got one mask and two snorkels, three putters and no balls, two tennis balls and no rackets. The ac cover would not stay closed. Finally, the day we got there at the resort in the sign in desk the lady, Honey, was extremely rude. When we got into our room the toilet wouldn’t flush. We had a repair guy come in and “fix it”. It would work once then not again. Because it was too late to have a repair man we were forced to use a different rooms bathroom in a different wing. They did fix our bathroom. Just a heads up the toilet was barely flushing and I’m sure they’ll have the same problem as we did. After all of that we still loved the resort and can’t wait for next year.

Wonderful vacation

Perfectly located, all things you need for a easy stay, everything was clean and all items in the kitchen were well organized (and well appointed). The resort amenities were also very clean and beautiful, the view from the balcony of g207 was amazing, got to see so many whales! Would highly recommend staying here, and can't wait to come back! Only constructive criticism would be to remove the carpet from the bedroom, just didn't feel great on the feet from the nice cool flooring elsewhere in the unit. Felt it kept in more heat than it needed to.

Lovely and Comfortable

Easy to check-in. Lovely condo. Great pool and Grills for cooking. Fun activities. Wonderful that it is right on beach to watch sunsets.

Beautiful Grounds and some exceptional condos

The grounds at Papakea are terrific: lush vegetation, well maintained along with the lanais. This the second year that my husband and I have rented here along with two other couples who have each rented condos. This has given us exposure to six different condos and G207 was definitely found lacking in comparison to the other five. For starters you are greeted with this negative sign: "Aloha Please do not use suntan lotion or sprays in this unit, as it may damage the linens, cabinets and furniture. Mahalo". Then six other signs telling you what not to do and threatening you with a $250 fine for any damage to the "fine linens." From my point of view the linens were nothing special. The worst of the welcoming signs is the one on the slider: "We have joined operation identification. All items of value on these premises have been marked for ready identification by Law Enforcement Agencies." The combination of signs made it so unpleasant I actually called Perfect Stays on our second day to see if they could move us to another condo anywhere on the property. Unfortunately, nothing was available. If you stay here be sure to bring your own, scissors, wine opener, rubber spatula which are not provided. I did call Perfect Stays about only having three wine glasses which limited our ability to have friends join us for cocktails. Kyle at Perfect Stays was very responsive had had six more wine glasses sent up to the room. Three wine glasses, three tall glasses, no juice glasses and 22 dinner plates plus chipped mismatched coffee cups. The dishwasher has been gerry-rigged to fit under a portion of the sink so it's limited on what it can handle. Microwave is an afterthought and takes up a lot of counter space and is past its prime. Most other units have ice makers. This unit has three hard plastic ice trays. At the least it would be helpful to have rubber ice trays that make it easy to remove the ice. Plus the refrigerator needs to be leveled: difference between right and left side is about 1-1/2 inch. We were grateful to be able to eat dinners at our friends condos at Papakea which were both well equipped. I would definitely suggest that it is renovation time for this unit and to limit your signage. That being said we enjoyed watching the whales from the lanai. This definitely taught me to be more careful and ask more questions if I rent at this location again. Our unit last year had been renovated and was well equipped so we know what they can be like.

Nice quiet resort with beautiful views

This was our second time at this resort. We found it quiet with beautiful views. Enjoyed the pools and sitting out by the ocean and catching glimpses of whales. A good location to Lahaina and Whalers Village.

Great property and unit. Very comfortable and nice pool. Easy check in. Amazing sunsets and since it was the right season we could see whales from our balcony. Nicely furnished with plenty of amenities. Would stay there again.

Beautiful Resort

Stay was very nice property in good shape . Only problems could not use kitchen

Could not use kitchen very much due to small ants all over sink area. Management treated but didn’t help. These are sugar ant and are easily controlled . Other than that loved the stay and place.

The place is so great. Meticulously kept and the staff is great. Pool and other amenities are always clean and ready. You can't go wrong with the papa!

Family of Four

This condo was a very clean and comfortable stay for our family of 4. The property is in a fabulous location with an ABC Store next door and grocery store, shaved ice and food trucks within a 5 min walk. Just a 12 min drive and you are at a variety of different beaches to enjoy. The check in process was smooth without issue. Parking was easy to find each day. The grounds are well kept (staff are cleaning and prepping daily) and the pools were always clean. Even when a large group arrived at the pool each evening, the property was quiet with the 10:00 pm curfew each night. The condo is comfortable and very clean. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking and eating. Drip Coffee maker (including filters), microwave, toaster, blender all supplied as well as all utensils and some basic seasoning (salt, etc). The unit provides initial paper towel, laundry soap, dish soap and dryer sheets which were plenty for our 8 days in Maui. They also give starter bar soap and shampoo/conditioner, but we preferred our own as they weren’t that great for quality. The unit comes with all linens, towels, beach towels, 2 beach chairs, 2 boogie boards, a stroller, a beach umbrella, a cooler and sand toys. It was sooo handy to have all of that available to enjoy during our stay. Such a bonus! The best part of this unit is definitely the view! Stunning ocean and pool views from the lanai on this 2nd floor unit (conveniently by a set of stairs). Only 30 sec walk and you’re at the pool! From the lanai you can enjoy the sunset each night … they are breathtaking! (Important note- there is no sandy beach directly in front of the property, but you can walk 3 min and you’re at one). The pull out sofa was comfortable for our two teens. The extra seating in the living area even allowed for the occasional family movie night (thanks to the smart TV). The unit isn’t overly updated, but that didn’t bother us because it was so clean and met all our needs. Only thing I recommend is to bring ear plugs- there is a mass of birds that live in the pathway outside the master bedroom and they fight and squawk very loudly in the early hours of the morning. There isn’t anything the owners can do about that, I’m sure, so I just advise bringing some ear plugs. They worked just fine for us! The correspondence with My Perfect Stays was smooth and they were pretty responsive when we had questions. This is a great unit! We would definitely return!
