Give yourself a beach holiday like no other. An elevated site, nestled in the trees. You will wake to bird song and a full unobscured view of the beach. The property features 3 rooms with beach views, a very large open living area and expansive deck perfect for a BBQ. The house is naturally sheltered from the predominant westerly wind meaning you can make the most of the outdoor space. The beach is only a 5 minute walk away and the stream provides safe swimming areas for children.

Our favorite VRBO

This was by far the most exquisite stay we’ve had in a VRBO rental. The views were out of this world and the amenities were perfect to make our stay comfortable and convenient. The place made our whole trip and would highly recommend!

Loved this property. Amazing views and just a lovely place to spend a few days relaxing. The driveway is a little challenging with a big car but we got used to it. Great communication from the owners.

Stunning view & great hosts

Perfect weekend away at Cooks. The host sent the best instructions on how to make the most out of the coromandel/Cooks. Luxury and comfort with unmatched views. Mind the steep driveway though (worth it for the vista).

Relaxing views

We had a terrific break at Cooks Beach. The house is situated high up in Cools Beach and has amazing views of the bay. It had all the amenities necessary to relax at home. The kayaks were great to use also. The owner provide recommendations that were really useful

Amaaaaazing!

Wow what an absolutely awesome place! The house has the most incredible view and this is such a great spot for a relaxing family holiday. For those who like to cook, this kitchen is superb and has everything you need. Great walks close by to the beautiful beach and up to some amazing lookouts. Lincoln was a great host with excellent communication for easy check in and stay. Highly recommend. Don’t scroll any further and book this place now!

Excellent communication and host

We were really looking forward to staying at this accommodation however Covid-19 lockdowns meant that we were unable to travel out of our home city. The host was extremely prompt, understanding and helpful in his replies and suggested solutions. We highly recommend this Cooks Beach home because of this and absolutely want to book again!

Great spot!

Overall, 4.5 stars. Great place! Pros: view is gorgeous. A 5-10 minute walk from the beach. The place was clean and pretty well furnished. Very quiet and very nice. Cons: not having a dryer is a bit of a bummer because it takes forever for towels to dry. Also, the driveway is very, very steep. Just be aware that you have to very carefully navigate it to exit and enter.

the view is actually better than in the photos. Its an Absolutely outstanding sweeping vista of the bay. House is modern and immaculate. Upstairs does get warm and the driveway is steep and tight but we would stay here again without hesitation. Lincoln was responsive and helpful. . five stars for sure.

Amazing house in Cooks Beach

Our family enjoyed our time in Cooks Beach. The house was beautiful with a great view of the ocean. It was convenient to many activities in the Coromandel, including a sail to cathedral cove, zip lining, ocean kayaking and relaxing at the beach. The hosts were responsive and helpful. I highly recommend staying here if you make it to New Zealand.

Stunning place

Great communication from the owner. Property is even more beautiful than the pictures. I’m a lovely quiet spot up on the hill amongst native bush but still very close to the beach. Very clean, plenty of amenities and very comfortable beds. We would love to come back next year if available!

Stunning and breathtaking

Such a stunning property where the photos just don’t do it justice. Breathtaking views and the kids commented, “who needs a TV when you can just watch the scenery change all day!” Has all the comforts of home and more! Amazing, well equipped kitchen - much better than we expected. Beautiful, clean, spacious, relaxing property. Like other reviews mentioned, the driveway is very steep and access to the house not suited to people who find hills and steps difficult. But it’s so worth it for the stunning view. Would be a lovely cosy warm house to stay in even in winter (with both a wood burning fireplace, heat pump and plenty of throws/blankets to keep you warm). We will be staying again I’m sure. Owner also is really great and responds very quickly to any questions. Very lovely to deal with.

Amazing spot

Beautiful stay amongst native bush looking out with fabulous views to the beautiful bays. A bit of a daunting drive way and access as it is perched up on a hill but worth it for the views. Lovely modern property with great areas for family to relax and chill. Short walk to a local cafe and in to town and beaches. Also very close to the ferry to Whitianga. Only challenge during our stay (which was not related to the property) was being able to get in to places to dine - would recommend researching a head of time and making bookings.
