Unreasonably would not consider our circumstances
Friday 5th our flight to Queenstown was cancelled due to weather, I contacted Renee and she rescheduled our booking to start on Sunday 7th, unfortunately our flight was cancelled again due to Queenstown weather. I was unable to get another flight until Thursday 11th, which was not possible due to going back to work. So our whole holiday was ruined. We had everything booked through planitbnb, who were amazing and got refunds for everything booked. The most expensive part of the entire holiday was the accommodation, I requested a refund however was advised by Renee that was not possible. I find this to be absolutely disgusting as this was no fault of ours, we would have been there if we could fly in. I have spoken to my insurance and this is not covered, I have spoken to the airline who have credited the flights, everyone has been absolutely amazing except for the accommodation. If you could reconsider your decision that would be absolutely amazing. I am a single mum who had planned and saved for my son and I to have this holiday, to have it cancelled was so disappointing but to not be able to get a refund is very disheartening. I have been advised to go to Fair go, which I plan on doing but before this step, I have gone to consumers and are waiting to hear from them. I am incredibly saddened by our experience and hope you do the right thing.
