As you take in the endless aqua Gulf views from the southeastern corner of Emerald Dunes 301 condominium you may find yourself counting as many blessings as there are grains of sand on the beach below. The upgrades of this Destin vacation rental which include tile floors throughout and mosaic tile backsplashes, a fully-stocked kitchen boasting a separate ice maker, large flatscreen TVs in each room and new furnishings in neutral beach tones are sure to make you feel grateful for each beautiful day spent on the Emerald Coast of Florida.

Apart from truly fantastic beach vistas, Emerald Dunes 301 has practical features to make your stay oh so comfortable- a washer/dryer, gated parking, swimming pool with deck, deeded beach access and an elevator are among the list. Plus, its location is within walking distance to award-winning restaurants, coffee shops, outdoor entertainment venues and countless beach shops.

Besides the beautiful beach with its’ expansive dunes and swaying sea oats, Emerald Dunes also has a pristine, sparkling swimming pool and a luxurious hot tub surrounded by lush palms for your enjoyment. Emerald Dunes is a private, gated condominium with amenities that include the large pool, hot tub, gas BBQ grills, boardwalk showers, bathrooms and seasonal beach attendants. Along with all amenities, guests appreciate the private low density setting (only 27 units) and private dune walkover to the beach.

GREAT LOCATION! Located on the west end of Scenic Highway 98 in Crystal Beach, the property is within walking/biking distance of local shops and restaurants. When it’s time for dinner, Camille’s, a favorite local restaurant known for their fresh sushi and intimate bar, is just steps away. During the day, Camille’s sidewalk café serves a limited menu of coffee, smoothies, breakfast and lunch items and local brews. Also nearby, guests will enjoy access to Publix (grocery store) and Destin Commons, featuring a bowling alley, movie theater, restaurants and diverse mix of shopping opportunities.

We do not rent to anyone under 25 or to students. We require 1 parent for every 2 people under 25.

Guests receive a welcome kit with small dishwasher detergent, dish soap, sponge, a roll of paper towels, and laundry detergent. There will be an initial trash liner in each receptacle and a set of toilet paper and soaps for each bathroom provided. Guests will need to replenish supplies for longer stays.

In addition to our welcome kit, we also supply basic cooking essentials like salt, pepper, and oil.

This property comes with 2 parking spaces.

We may require a minimum length of stay during the summer and over holidays.

We do not rent to anyone under 25 or to students.

NOTE: Emerald Dunes is a 100% SMOKE FREE, TOBACCO FREE property. No trailers, jet skis, RV's or boats are permitted.

This is absolutely the most wonderful condo we have stayed in and we have been coming to Destin for over 40 years. Large rooms, beautifully furnished, extremely clean, complimentary beach chairs, washer/dryer, and 2 showers (always nice at the beach) .AMAZING VIEW- corner unit with no high rise blocking view, nice breeze for sitting on balcony. Within 5 miles of our favorite Dewey’s seafood on the bay and best shopping centers are even closer . Perfect trip! We plan to stay in this condo every trip from now on.

Nice Beachfront Condo

Overall, great stay! Would stay here again. Easy check in and check out process. 95% clean - the drawers in the kitchen were a bit dirty and needed to be cleaned. Bathrooms and bedrooms were clean.

We always like to stay in the Crystal Beach area. We are very familiar with the neighborhood and there are several restaurants that we go to that are within walking distance. During our stay both, staircases were closed for several days for maintenance. We found that inconvenient since we were on the third floor and using the staircase was an option we would have used. I also wonder what would have happened had there been an emergency.We liked the idea of using a code to enter the unit, but wonder if it could be possible to have a code assigned that would be familiar to us. We were repeatedly checking our phones to read the code from the email when we returned.Thank you.

Excellent location

The best part about this property is that it sits right on the beach which gives you private access and reserved beach chairs. The kitchen is huge and we loved cooking our meals, then playing outside. It’s close to everything in Destin, which is was wonderful since traffic can sometimes be congested. There were sugar ants on the counters, and the property is getting a little run down, for the price we paid. It’s also probably time to replace the mattresses, since the king mattress was a little lopsided. But we had a great time being right on the beach, and loved sitting on the balcony, and seeing the ocean from every window! We have a large family and this property was completely comfortable for all of us.

Great Location, Lacking Cleanliness and Unkind Property Management

The location of this condo is wonderful. Right on the beautiful Destin beach and close to an adorable coffee shop/restaurant. The included beach chairs were a major plus. And the pool was very clean. This condo lacked cleanliness and felt very grimy and dirty. Cabinets were falling apart. Stains all over the drawers so much I didn't want place anything inside them. Our washing machine was not working upon arrival, and the property management was very rude to dealing with this situation. We had booked with plans is utilizing the washer and dryer unit in the condo. It was replaced by the end of the stay, but we went through a major hassle in dealing with that. There were a lot of missing kitchen utensils (like a pizza cutter and bowls and containers). There were not many blankets or towels. And not was very bare bones. Which.i didn’t expect for what we paid.

Great location, great vacation

Just got back from a week at Emerald Dunes and it was fantastic. Love going to Destin in the Sept/Oct. timeframe -- much less crowded and a slower pace. Also love the location of Emerald Dunes. Unit 301 is spacious and has great amenities, and is an end unit, so you have great views. In fact, it has one of the best views down the beach that I have ever had, and I have been staying directly on the beach in Destin for more than 10 years. The only reason I did not give this unit a full five stars is that it is a bit worn in places. Walls are a little dinged up, a piece of flooring trim was missing, screens were torn or missing from windows. None of this detracted from our vacation, but it is worth mentioning. Would rent here again!

Beautiful Place

This was a great trip. We enjoyed the clean, quiet, well-kept property very much. Owner was very responsive. The beach service was great: two chairs and an umbrella. The pool and hot tub were a great change of pace from the beach when our 4 children were tired from the waves. There are even hotel caddies and carts available for you to get your luggage up and down the elevator. There were plenty of sheets and pillows, as we filled up all the beds! The kitchen is well-stocked. The fridge kept our food cold. The ice maker was a nice touch, though we didn't use it much due to the cooler weather. There's nothing like opening your back patio door and hearing the waves and seeing the white sand beaches of Destin. We will definitely be back!

Family Vacation

Beautiful View

The condo was just as described and pictured. The view is wonderful and the neighborhood is great and surrounded by anything you need — dining, grocery and beverage stores. The room was clean and it was easy to get to the beach. Check in was smooth and effortless. We loved it and will be coming back as soon as we can.

We have stayed at Emerald Dunes for many years... this year was different the area to the left of the building has been opened up to the public so its no longer as private as it was and that is why we always enjoyed the area it was not near as busy! The area to the side of the building/public open area left trash daily and some even set up in front of the chairs & umbrella we had that was provided during the stay. The pictures were much nicer then the room actually is! Constantly had issues with the toilets during the stay needs some much needed upgrades... I would not book Emerald again until they clean up the area thats now a open flow! Were looking elsewhere for the next trip to Destin!

Great beach vacation

Stayed at this unit for a week in July 2021. Had a great time. Unit is all anyone could ever want. Very close to the beach. Pool also very inviting and family friendly. Unit was fully furnished with everything we needed including linens and kitchen. Would definitely stay in this unit again

Emerald Dunes is located in Destin, FL on the beachfront with only 6 stories. It has gated beach access and is located in the heart of the Crystal Beach Neighborhood. This is a more private resort than others in the area and provides a Tobacco Free experience. There is a pool that is heated seasonally as temperatures drop in the winter plus an outdoor hot tub. Beach chair service is setup for guests of 2 chairs and 1 umbrella each day from spring to fall.
