Lovely villa - poor service by management company
There was a group of 15 of us from the UK who stayed at the property for 11 nights.
Positives:
Spacious villa with lovely kitchen/living area
Easy walking distance to communal pool
Easy check in process
Close to parks and Walmart so Ubers were not too expensive if you don’t have a car.
Negatives:
Unpleasant exchange with guest services at Windsor Hills when we were picking up pool bands. We were accused of breaking various rules/laws such as trespassing because Nova (management company) had not registered us appropriately. This was not in our control however we had to call Nova to get this sorted. We were also accused of breaking health & safety rules because Windsor Hills supposedly only allows 14 people per villa. Property is advertised for more than this hence why we booked it. Again, this was out of our control but were made to feel like it was our fault.
Downstairs bedroom with bunk beds is tiny and not suitable for 2 as the top bunk is not secure.
Pool heating we paid for was never switched on, broken filter cover was never fixed and pool filters were not working adequately. Towards the end of the holiday, so called pool maintenance was carried out and after that chemicals ruined jewellery and swimming costumes. Despite of 7 phone calls to Nova plus emails, our concerns in terms of the pool were never fixed. We are still waiting for a refund for pool heating charges we paid for but didn’t receive.
Property had no guest book with any information.
