Amazing beach and bay views! Has everything you need and easy walk to the beach

Three bedrooms w/ sleeping loft and three full bathrooms, outdoor shower with hot and cold water.

One of the best features is the huge deck that overlooks the beach and the bay. It offers amazing views of sunrises and sunsets. Another plus is the gas grill located on the deck (so you don't have to go downstairs to cook), plus plenty of seating.

There is great lighting and music on the deck to make it the perfect evening hang out, plus it's high enough up that mosquitoes are rarely an issue.

Another great feature is the kitchen. With a full size refrigerator and full size freezer there is plenty of room to store enough food to cook all of your meals. Plenty of pots and pans even a crockpot, ninja blender and grill plate are provided. The huge island doubles as a dining table and has seating for 8. A great place for everyone to gather around and help cook or just hang out and play games.

We want you to have plenty of things to do, so we provide a washer toss game, corn hole, bocci ball, dominoes and a shuffleboard table.

There are three full bathrooms plus an outdoor shower with hot and cold water. We have two large hot water heaters and have never heard of anyone running out of hot water. It is so much better to have three bathrooms when you are traveling with a large group and our house makes it easy for everyone to get ready quickly or rinse off after a day at the beach.

The drinking water quality isn't the best in Surfside, so we have upgraded our water filtration to 6 whole house filters designed specially for the water here…including an arsenic filter. We also have a reverse osmosis system that supplies pure water to a hot and cold drinking dispenser is also auto fills the ice maker and Keurig. We sincerely want you to feel like you are staying at a friends house...not a rental property.

Great location, great house

We loved this beach house! Very short walk to the beach. The deck with its tiki bar vibe, listening/watching the waves was the best. Plenty of room. The best amenities of any VRBO I’ve stayed at. Great communication with owners. Some really fun things which I won’t ruin the surprise of. We felt very safe. Just a great relaxing place at the beach.

Fun Family Getaway

We loved staying at this house! We had everything we needed and then some. The beds were comfortable and the deck was amazing. It was easy to walk to and from the beach. The owner was attentive and was easy to reach. This was a great house for a family getaway!

Tiki House is Perfect

Tiki House was super clean and beautifully decorated. The house was well stocked with supplies as well as things for the beach. The Host made us feel very welcome and checked in to make sure everything was going good. Grandparents, kids and grandkids had a great time. Thank you Mike for making it a wonderful get away.

Perfect balance

We loved this property. We’ve been coming to Surfside for 5 years and have stayed on both the public and private side. This is a great location. Walkable, and close enough to see and hear the ocean. It’s on the public side, but far enough from the crowd. House was adorable and well stocked.

Best Beach House Ever!!!!

Let me tell you guys the house is fully equipped. We had everything we needed from an ice maker machine up to a lighter. The house felt cozy and my family and I felt so welcome. Mike is an awesome host. Seriously he's the best. He was very attentive during our stay. He even left a welcome treat for our furbaby. I would recommend this place. 10/10

Fantastic location

Considering the property is not beachfront, it was the next best thing. We had everything we needed. The host was absolutely accommodating in every way. Great communications, friendly, responsive, and gracious. There is a golf cart rental across the street so I recommend if there is a need to make a reservation, they book quickly. Nice, quiet neighborhood, with all the comforts of home away from home.

House had everything and then some!

We had 3 families stay at this house. It was just perfect, all the kids had so much fun and the adults enjoyed all of the amenities. We took advantage of the golf cart rental which was across the street from the house, I highly recommend that. The house was a very short walk to the beach which was perfect since we basically lived at the beach during our stay. Mike was very attentive and answered my ongoing questions very quickly. He had everything that we could possibly need from beach equipment to so many towels to extensive kitchen appliances. We would definitely stay at this home again, so many great memories made!

The perfect annual beach getaway

Everything about our stay was easy and pleasant from beginning to end. Mike was friendly, helpful, and quick to respond, even before our vacation began. The house was just as beautiful and well equipped as the listing described. The set-up of the rooms and beds was just right for our two families. We had 4 adults three teenagers, and three children, ages 7-9. Everyone had a comfortable place to sleep. There were extra toiletries available in case we forgot anything at home, as well as some first aid supplies, sunscreen, bug spray, and aloe burn gel. The views were amazing, and the walking distance to the beach was just right. We loved not having to load all the kids and gear into the car to drive, and it was wonderful coming home with a mostly sand-free car. The wagon/cart was just right for loading umbrellas, chairs, cooler, and toys for the short walk. The beach was clean and enjoyable, and the waves just the right size and strength for "wave jumping", as my kids like to call it. There were a good number of small shells for "treasure hunting", lots of digging and sand castle building with the toys available at the house, and fun with flying kites that were also there. Nobody was bored! The kitchen was a great size for multi-person meal prep, and there were plenty of dishes for all of us to use. The spice cabinet was well stocked. We enjoyed using the propane grill for a couple of meals, and the breeze on the deck for evening meals was so nice.

Wonderful time at Tiki House

Wow! We had an amazing stay at Tiki House. Mike has truly thought of and provided everything a guest would need. The house was clean and well stocked with supplies. Mike checked on us throughout our stay, as well. We loved it!

Fantastic!!!

I can't say enough good things about this property and our experience staying there. It is SO WELL equipped--all the beach gear you need is there (plus more), every appliance you could imagine, basic spices and seasonings, plus the filtered water system was awesome. It is more like staying in a home than a rental, and the owner was kind, generous, and communicative, treating us more like a guest than a customer. After years of staying in various properties in Surfside, I'll now be disappointed if I have to stay anywhere else!

Perfect getaway

The house is exactly as pictured and so very well equipped. The extras, such as beach towels, burn cream, and scissors made our stay seamless. We loved sitting at the island and visiting in the mornings and evenings. Beautiful place, we will be back!

Amazing location and very comfortable beach house

We had a great time at this beach house. There were 3 families with kids and we all had a good time. Beach is walking distance and we used the beach cart to get the various items to the beach. The beach towels and they are plenty, beach toys, beach chairs were all super helpful. The portable speaker was amazing to play music on the beach The house itself was comfortable. We also spent a good time on the deck with barbeque and some family fun All in all a great rental for families

Excellent rental with everything!

Thank you! Yes everything with the house was excellent! We just ended up with a couple of kill joys in neighboring rental. That was out of everyones control and had nothing to do with the house. You and your wife have perfected this process! Definitely would recommend and stay again. -RM

Amazing!!!!

We absolutely loved the house. Everything was labeled and Alexa was set up to control everything so we weren't searching for light switches. The place was so pretty, well stocked on bedding and towels. We loved everything about it and hope to make it a yearly trip❤️

Perfect vacay house

Could not have asked for more! This house was so comfortable, clean, well stocked with everything you might need. Felt like home right away. The water filter was a game changer for surfside and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for the week. Owner was so helpful and responsive and willing to help with any questions we had. Def will be returning asap.

Beach relaxation

I needed a week away from work to just sit on the beach and do absolutely nothing! This beach house made that possible! The house had everything we could think of to relax in the house and at the beach. The distance from the house to the beach was perfect! The view was even better! Really was everything I was needing in my week away, and then some!

We will be back!

This was our first experience taking our kiddos to the beach and we couldn’t have asked for a better place. The house was so well thought out- perfect for kids and adults. We could’ve left half of the things we packed and been accommodated…the owners have thought of everything! The check in/out process was very simple and the owners were incredibly kind, welcoming, and responsive. We had zero complaints about the place and will be booking it again in the future! Thanks for the memories!

Great spot!

We loved everything about the house. I was so happy the kitchen had everything we needed to cook/grill. Beach was steps away and the kids preferred to walk vs driving. Mike was great at communicating with us.

Perfect beach house- ready to go back!!!

Where do I begin!!! From the moment we made reservations until time we returned home Mike kept in touch, shared suggestions and kept us informed through it all! Sometimes heading out on vacation we tend to keep life's busyness in mind. But the moment I walked in this beach home- my vacay mode turned on! Alexa had the perfect music playlist that put us all in the mood for vacation. We had an awesome beach view from the patio and upstairs bedroom. I would wake up in the morning to check from bedroom window if the beach was getting busy with set-ups - if so we would walk down and post up camp then walk back for breakfast. This beach house was great for the grandkids. The bunk room was a big hit for a 3 year girl who did not put up a fuss when it was bed time. The shuffle board upstairs kept our 5 year old entertained and the corn hole kept the big kids competitive with music on the patio! One of my favorite was the kitchen- spacious for cooking while the kids sat around the large table to eat and play board games. Just perfect space for a family get together. This house is well equiped-everything we needed was there and available! Ohh, let me not forget the friendly neighbors. The coolest neighbor next door said- put on some music and have fun- of course we did as we were told! :-) Mike- thank you again for sending my daughters earbuds she left behind! That was not required- but you went that extra mile once we returned home. Thanks for sharing you beach home- would for sure stay here again. Patricia & clan!!!

The property was everything the owner said it would be. We had a lovely time with family in a nice house close to the beach and some good restaurants. Would 100% stay here again.

House was purchased in 2008...then my neighbor burned my house down (he burned his too). Rebuilt it in 2013 and made it just the way we wanted it. We didn't rent it out for the first 8 years we had it but decided it was so much fun that we wanted to share it with others.

We decided to make this a "smart house". We have smart locks, AC, speakers and lights. All of which can be controlled by "Alexa" or by the provided tablet. You can have music inside as well as out on the deck...you can have different music in each area or combine them to have the same in both. Most of the lights are also controlled by Alexa...just tell her to turn the lights on or which specific light you want on or off...do you need all of that to have fun at a beach house? Probably not....but it is a lot more fun with it! Plus she can tell you the weather for the day, cooking recipes or where to go eat. We also included a full size refrigerator and full size freezer...plenty of space to store food and drinks. We use the house so we make sure it has everything you need to enjoy the beach. From beach games to a crock pot and ninja blender. We also provide beach chairs, beach umbrella and an outdoor speaker you can take to the beach. It really cuts down on the things you need to bring.
