Nice Getaway

Probably the cleanest and best appointed of the VRBO’s we have stayed in. Oven and grill needed a little more attention but with everything else being so good they weren’t a problem.

Family Vacation

The property was beautiful and clean! Minutes from the lake and river! Lots of wildlife including a black bear visitor! Highly recommend!

Fantastic place for myself, kids, and extended family to stay. The communication was fantastic and they were very responsive to the one question we had. The location was quiet and peaceful and incredibly close to the lake. We would 100% come back and stay here.

The 1st issue was being able to enter the home: our code didn't open the door. The owner responded within 5 minutes and gave another code to enter that worked. The cleanliness was ok but cobwebs were quite prevalent on the main floor. The refrigerator icemaker didn't work, and the refrigerator side froze the food. The grill was disgustingly filthy and had to be cleaned prior to use. The oven was also filthy and hadn't been cleaned in quite a while. There was no body wash in either bathroom, burnt out light bulbs in a few bedrooms, one inoperable flashlight. The owner was notified and he did send the cleaning person to the home to provide new bulbs and batteries. She was unable to enter the home because the dog was inside, so the issue with body wash wasn't remedied. The home itself has a great layout and is in a beautiful area. The owner did provide a small refund due to the refrigerator and body soap issues.What was nice was that the home is pet friendly, the beds were comfortable, and the host did his best to address some of the issues, and in a quick manner. The host needs a new cleaning person that is reliable and trustworthy in our opinion.

Relaxing Getaway

We had a wonderful time staying at the cabin. The location was perfect and the neighbors were so helpful. Everything was just as we anticipated and we would highly recommend the cabin to others.

Cabin Stay

Nice property in natural setting. Neighbors are close by but were nice. Did have a visit by a bear who got into our trash as cans provided were not bear proof. Was difficult to keep cabin cool when daytime temps heated up, no AC or swamp cooler. Fans provided did help a little. Little peeved that Vallecito Reservoir lake had a access cost. Overall we were pleased with our stay but felt was overpriced,

Creekside Comfort

This cabin was very cozy and equipped with fun amenities for the family. We loved the location and listening to the creek from the porch.

My family enjoyed the stay in the cabin. The cabin is beautiful and convenient location to the river and Vallecito Lake. I will definitely be booking in this cabin again.

Beautiful

A beautiful home that felt so cozy and welcoming. It had everything we needed and looked exactly like the photos. The area was gorgeous and we would love to see it in the summer or spring as well! Some of the nearby restaurants and stores are closed a couple days a week so make sure you stock up if you don’t want to drive far for food and want to enjoy more time in or near the cabin.

Amazing

Our family goes to various places for our Thanksgiving holiday and this one was definitely one for the books! Great area, Friendly people and the cabin was amazing!
