Caryville Home w/ Dock, Steps to Norris Lake!

Hi David, thank you for your feedback! We're delighted to hear that you had a great stay. Vrbo strives to be transparent at every stage of the booking process, ensuring that all rates and fees are clearly broken down for travelers before they confirm their reservations. Please note that the homeowners don't determine the fees; they are set by the booking platform.

From the Owner: "We appreciate your stay and we are glad you had a great time. We welcome you back anytime."

From the owner: Thank you very much for your stay. You are welcome back anytime. Per our conversation, you accidentally put a 1 instead of a 5 rating. Evolve has reached out to you about how to contact Vrbo to edit that. Once again, we look forward to your stay next year.

From the owner: "Hi Renee, thank you for choosing our home for your stay. We apologize if the fire pit’s distance from the house wasn’t to your preference. Our fire pit is much bigger than the norm around the lake, and we prioritize safety and space on our 2-acre property. Evolve did a great job with the pictures showing the actual view to the water and you also have the simple 2-minute drive around the gravel lane. if you prefer not to take the 1 minute grass walk to the water. We hope to host you again!"

From the owner: "Thank you so much for your staying with us, Gregory. You’re welcome back anytime. There’s a car port on the flat part of the property by the driveway where a boat or trailer can be left. Everything in Tennessee is hilly but that's what makes it so beautiful."

From the owner: "Thank you for your stay and welcome back anytime. As explained in the guest book you can drive around the point to the dock if you don’t want to walk down. There are signs where you can park 10ft from the water, next to the dock. We are glad you enjoyed your stay."

Hi Kara, The homeowners were surprised to read your review, as they are accustomed to providing 5-star experiences, and would like to clarify the following:- The walk to the water is clearly laid out in our listing photos and referenced in our welcome book. However, for guests with mobility concerns, there is an option to drive and park within 15 feet of our private dock on the water.- The property had its carpets cleaned, including moving furniture, two weeks before your stay. After your 9:30 PM report, we promptly sent a cleaner who arrived within 75 minutes. A member of your party mentioned that the children had opened and hidden the condoms, which were likely from your group as they were not present after the last cleaning.- We apologize for the inconvenience of the light bulb issue. Our cleaner replaced the bulb as soon as we were notified.- The grill is brand new and inspected after each guest's stay. For safety, please supervise the grill while in use, as your absence triggered the neighbors' fire alarm. A grill brush is provided for additional cleaning if needed. Additionally, a new grill was delivered early the next morning for your convenience.Thank you for your insight, and please know that we strive to provide the best possible stay for our guests and take all feedback seriously to improve our services.
