A truly exceptional 3 bedrooms / 2 bathrooms 1961 post and beam Alexander home situated in Palm Springs' famous Racquet Club estates.

Orange Oasis has been entirely renovated and remodeled to the highest standards and has been featured in several publishings as well as Palm Springs Modernism week.

Walls of dual pane glass windows face amazing mountain views and the 1/3 acre desert landscape yard. Spend the day in one of the four covered lounge areas and slip into the crystal clear salt water pebble tech pool. At night watch the pool automatically illuminate with color LCD lights. The outside dinning area seats 8 guests and faces astonishing mountain and pool views. Dine under the 15 foot custom-made retractable shade and cook with a top of the line Weber BBQ with side burner. Enjoy a game of bocce ball with your friends.

Inside, the open living room is bright and colorful with white leather modern designer furnishings and features fun eclectic decor as well as original artwork. A fully functional original gas fireplace, a prized option with these homes, is a must while sipping cocktails or listening to music.
Orange Oasis is equipped with a 48 inch high definition flat screen TV, Apple TV, DVD, Rokur and a Denon receiver with 5.1 Boston-Acoustic surround sound system.

The updated high end open chef's kitchen has top of the line Jennair stainless steel appliances, a center formica counter island for meal preparation or entertaining and is fully stocked with chef's utensils and tools.

Enjoy the large master bedroom with wonderful natural lighting and designer furniture and private access to the backyard. The master bedroom features a King-size bed, comfortable linens, 32" TV and has an ensuite bathroom. The two additional guest bedrooms feature 1 queen and 1 full bed, original art and private seating areas.

Enjoy Orange Oasis indoors as well as out and relax in Palm Springs style.

Minimum length of stay and special rates may apply during certain seasonal events.

There is an optional pool heating available for a fee, (when needed). Depending upon length of stay, utility charges may apply.

Upon acceptance of the reservation you will be required to sign a Rental Agreement directly with the management company – 365 Vacation Rentals

The Palm Springs Vacation Rental Ordinance requires the following:

All persons must be at least 25 years of age or accompanied by parent or legal guardian.
The maximum number of guests shall not exceed posted limits. This includes ALL children AND infants.
Outdoor music of any kind or excessive noise is not permitted at any time.
No more than 1 car per bedroom is allowed per home. 3 car maximum.

Failure to do so will result in fines being issued directly to the occupant of the home and you will forfeit your security deposit. Please refer to your rental agreement or ask for greater detail.

Please note this home is located in a quiet residential neighborhood, this home is not a party house.

The house was fun, clean, nicely furnished, well equipped kitchen, lots of space and parking. Good proximity to downtown but not in the crowds, lots of hiking and activities in easy driving distance. Check in and out was very easy. The only downside was the rules demanded by the city were heavy handed. Probably the result of some people being out of control ruining it for the rest of us.

Easy location to get around. Beautiful landscaping and pool was great. Nice blend of shade and sun. Jerry was very helpful with any questions we had and was quick to help with an issue. Not sure if this is a California rental thing or not, there was no basic ingredients in the house, so be prepared to buy things. Also, bathrooms do not have fans but it is an older home. Otherwise, this house was exactly as we expected (clean, organized and fairly centrally located) and a fun stay with friends. We can't wait to come back!

If you're traveling to Palm Springs and you've found this house, stop searching and book immediately! Gorgeous property in a quiet and beautiful neighborhood and so conveniently located. The entire outdoor space is a dream. Owner and property manager were easy to communicate with. If you're a mid century fan, don't miss the neighborhood history included in the rental binder! Would love to stay here again.

Very outdated property, photos are years old so very misrepresented. Showers and bathroom taps were dirty, broken furniture, cupboard doors were faded and water stained. The only good thing was the outdoor area but even that was ruined when on days 2 to 7 of our stay there were 5 men replacing the roof of next door so they were overlooking us in the pool. The house that was on the other side was being renovated so they excavated the back yard on the last 3 days while we were there so we were in a cloud of dirt being kicked up over the fence. We reached out to the rental agency but he tried to make out he was unaware of renovations even though there was a fence surrounding the property with a notice saying it was taking place, which he would have seen when he left us the key.

Vacation with friends

Great house and backyard. On our 6th day the pool was growing algae, so we didn’t swim. The mattresses and sheets left something to be desired and the house sits under the flight path. Other than that we had a great time.

Beautiful Property with exceptional pool!!

Lovely home with well appointed kitchen! The furniture fit the mid century style but could use more comfortable seating in the living room. Everything was in working order, never had to phone property manager for repairs which we have never experienced before in a rental. The home was clean except for the tile floors. They could have used an in depth cleaning. The back yard was beautifully landscaped. Gorgeous pool and great outdoor comfortable furniture. We were aware of the windy conditions in that area but that was the only thing that wasn’t ideal regarding the location. The neighbour hood was lovely. We were 5 retirees that very much enjoyed our stay!!

Girls trip

This house was perfect for a group of four 40 year old ladies to reconnect. The outdoor area was where we hung out most. The pool and chairs was perfect. You may want to bring your own floatie or two, there are a few pool noodles there but that is it. Beds were comfortable and cozy. Plenty of bath towels and beach towels. House was very clean! Kitchen has plenty of pots and pans, silverware, serving dishes, cups, wine glasses, etc. However there are no grocery type items. For example, no oil, sugar, seasoning. You may want to add those items to your grocery list if you plan on cook while there. Location was close enough to dining. We were able to have groceries and food easily delivered. Only negative is the limited seating in the living room. Couch is a little small and uncomfortable. We made the best of it though. I would recommend this house and would stay there again!

Mid- century modern house, with all the amenities. Comfortable beds, great kitchen large pool, nicley landscaped drought tolerant yard, including hummingbirds with mountain views...it was magic! We would definitely rent this one again! THL Boston, MA

Desert Getaway

The Orange Oasis was an awesome place to stay. The Racquet Club Estate neighborhood was quiet with plenty of mid century modern homes to see when strolling the hood. The O.O. was well appointed, comfortable and maintained. The pool was cleaned twice a week to keep it ready for swimming. The property management team was top notch and quickly resolved an issue with WiFi. My only negative comment is that the Racquet Club Estate neighborhood is located at the north end of town which is the windiest area of Palm Springs. While we were there the winds were very strong at times which blew lots of leaves into the pool. We also had to be very careful with using the pool umbrellas and awnings.

House design and size was ideal for us. Home presents nicely with quality appliance in good condition. Big property. Unfortunately home has not been kept up to good standards and I spent the first day cleaning floors, baseboards, cupboards. Kitchen supplies were lacking, furniture dirty and worn, king size bed with queen size comforter, etc. Bad experience with property manager on pointing out shortcomings. Maybe ok for a weekend but we booked for a month. It’s a shame - with attention to detail and some upgrades could be a really nice rental.

Great Summer Stay in Palm Springs!

My husband and I stayed here for 6 nights and it was perfect for us. I wanted to stay one more night! The house feels even bigger because of the high ceilings that you can't really see from the pictures. We enjoyed the outdoor space the most and it's why we booked this property. The bocce ball court is fantastic. If you don't play, there are instructions in the very detailed binder (with pictures) of everything you need to know about the house from the history of the development, recommendations for things to do, places to eat, grocery, shopping, etc. I can't underscore Jerry's quick response time and communication whenever we had a question or needed something. You will be taken care of and very comfortable here. Thank you so much for having us, Jerry!

Die drei Stufen zum Glück

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Urlaub in diesem wunderschönen Haus. Alle Räume sind so wie sie im Internet zu finden sind. Der Ort Palm Springs ist eine kleine Oase mitten in der Wüste. Unsere persönlichen drei Stufen zum Glück waren die drei Stufen in unseren eigenen Pool. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen und ich kann diese Unterkunft wärmsten empfehlen. Die Kommunikation mit der Agentur sowie mit Nick waren problemlos.

Great Summer Stay

Everything was as advertised at Orange Oasis. It's located on a very quiet street (maybe extra quiet due to our mid-summer visit). Everything in the house worked (BBQ, great clean pool, smart TV, etc.). No real complaints - I suppose at least one queen-sized bed would be nice-- all the beds were full sized. We certainly would consider coming back to this house.

Fantastic stay in Palm Springs at the Orange Oasis

My family stayed at the Orange Oasis in July and had a wonderful time. The quiet neighborhood is perfectly located making it easy explore shops, restaurants and all the sites you want to see in the area. The property was given a fun remodel and decor update that goes well with the design of the house. We loved all the quirky art! The appliances and furniture are newer in a modern style and everything is clean. As previous guests have stated the furniture sits low to the ground but we found it quite comfortable (I have teenage boys who sprawl everywhere). The house has been set up nicely for vacation stays and Jerry came to meet us at check in to ensure things went well. We really liked the binder of info on everything from the history of the development, reccos for things to do and a handy guide to the multiple remotes for electronics. We've rented vacation houses across the country for years and this binder was the BEST one we've seen yet. We also spent a lot of time in the wonderful backyard and pool. Yes, it does get windy at times and it can be hot, but it wasn't too bad during our stay, and the house was quite comfortable. We loved our time at the Orange Oasis and would be thrilled to come back in the future. THANKS for having us!!

Great property, but NO music allowed outside!

This property was great and the property manager was communicative and helpful. Very nice house. However, this review if for prospective renters so they are aware about the rules in the city of Palm Springs. I planned my trip and did not know about how strict PS was until I booked our VRBO. I came to PS with my husband and children for a family vacation and I will not go back. We are a big music family and enjoy listening to music together. However, the city has VERY strict rules and NO outdoor music is aloud at ALL for renters--not even the speaker on a phone...you have to wear headphones if you want to listen to music outside on your vacation (which is not happening in a pool). There is a HUGE fine if you play music outside at all and I felt like I signed about 10 documents saying that I understood this rule. It was overkill. I understand that the city is trying to manage people that party and disturb others, but really? There has got to be a compromise for families that are visiting as tourists. The house was great--as I mentioned, but no music while you enjoy the pool.

Great outdoor space.

The house was nice for my family and I. Great pool and outdoor space including a bocce court. The location was close to downtown but it’s in a very windy part of town. We did not know about this and could not put up any awnings. The furniture, including the beds, was not comfortable and very low to the ground. We were traveling with a senior citizen and she had a tough time with the furniture and finding protective covering from the sun. In addition, there guest bedrooms had no drawers to unpack belongings and a lot of the light switches did nothing. We did not have control of the pool temperature and could not figure out the outdoor lighting to utilize the space at night.

Beautiful Home in A+ Location

Beautifully decorated home with sparkling pool, multiple lounging & dining areas, and bocce ball court. I went with 3 girlfriends for the weekend and we had an amazing time! The home is lavishly equipped with everything you need to be comfortable. We loved just how close we were to restaurants & beautiful hiking trails. I would highly recommend this rental to friends! I'm definitely looking forward to returning to the Orange Oasis soon! :)

Awesome Place!

We absolutely loved this modern Palm Springs oasis. I went with a few girlfriends for a quick weekend getaway. The place is spacious and definitely large enough for 6 people. We loved the backyard, and cool modern furniture and funky pop art throughout the home. Pool time was truly beautiful in the large backyard. Also, there was a great bbq and large table where we stayed in a night and cooked dinner. Everything was really clean and easy to check in and out. Close to all the fun restaurants too. Highly recommend the Orange Oasis!
