Family Vacation

We was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful the house was, very clean, the dock was great for the kid’s swimming, we had a really great time and would definitely recommend this place to everyone, I would absolutely stay there again.

Family Vacation

My family has stayed on Long Lake and Mullet lake for decades and this was the best property location we’ve been to. Plenty of space in the house, great property, and nice swimming area

Large and peaceful

We enjoyed staying at Acorn Landing for two nights. It's located on a very peaceful lake. It was big enough to fit two families. Twelve of us all together. Nice stay.

Absolutely awesome!

Came up from South Carolina on a family road trip (3 sisters & 2 hubbys) and had an absolutely awesome stay! We have rented quite a few cabins before via VRBO and have never stayed at one that was so organized! It had everything that we needed and was so comfortable & spacious! The neighborhood was quiet & peaceful and the view from the deck & dock was fantastic! The only negative thing that we can come up with is that we should have planned for a longer stay!

Nice getaway

My family had a nice stay at this home. When we arrived we were disappointed by the lack of snow and ice removal which made the walk from the car to the house treacherous. The property management did everything within their power to resolve this quickly. This property has plenty of space for sleeping and hanging out with family. We would definitely stay again.

Everything was great, the only problem and it was very small. Give instructions to lock the door, I.

Locking the door instructions. Everything else was very nice, clean, comfortable, everything was labeled perfect.

Terrible ice storm

Couldn’t stay at acorn due to power outages. The staff worked with me and the total refund process was seamless. I’ll be back. Thanks!

Ice fishing

Very clean and well run operation. Probably the most well run rental I’ve ever used. House was very clean, smelled great, and had very nice finishes for where it was. We went up for the sturgeon festival did some ice fishing off the dock and it was a perfect set up and everyone in the group loved the place. The only issue or suggestion was that it seemed to not warm up like we’d expect. Furnace ran and the air was hot but for some reason it got very cold in the middle of the night especially in the “master”. We have stayed at many slab on grade places that aren’t as nice and stay cold all weekend and it wasn’t a problem. It just seemed strange that such a nice place seemed to struggle to stay warm. I’m not sure if it was a setting on the thermostat or if the crawl space has little to no insulation or what.

I’ve rented many VRBO homes and this was by far one of the nicest. Clean, as advertised, multiple start-up groceries. The lake is beautiful, hard pack bottom, 3 kayaks that the kids utilized. We went to Cheboygan multiple times but the Aloha camp store is close and they have great hard pack ice cream.
