Very up to date and cute decor, it was spacious and clean

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I loved my vacation stay here, I have been coming for 3 years to this same place and I really like the location and the clean rooms. I enjoyed the decor and the home feel to be able to have drinks downstairs in the nice patio furniture to the nice living area. This was an amazing family well spent vacation time.

Great place and area

We had a great experience! Condo was really nice and clean. Easy walk to the beach. The bedroom with the twin beds with trundle beds was a little tight when we pulled them out but we were able to still sleep on them. Would defiantly stay there again.

It was fine.

We appreciate the property being available last minute. Cleanliness left a lot to be desired considering I found a tortilla shell next to the shelf by the router. Also don't look under furniture because there are more food and goldfish under them. The layout is a great layout for a family. The floor in the main area is bowed so be careful walking. The Master suite was a great space but that is the worst bed I have ever slept on. It was like sleeping on the floor. I ended up sleeping on a coach for the rest of the stay. If you can get past that, it is a cute little place with a good location. Road noise if definitely noticeable (especially if sleeping in the living room).

Needs work

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I've stayed at SP many times. This is the first time I've stayed in unit 31. It needs some work. Flooring is lifted in several spots. The mattresses upstairs and downstairs are very uncomfortable. You have to consistently was silverware because there's not enough spoons and forks for a larger group.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit 31 was very good, no complaints about it. The problem was the Manager and the administration staff. There was a problem with my credit card because your system can not handle foreign credit cards (really?? a vacation resort that can not accept foreign credit cards??). I was forced to pay in cash because their system charged my credit card but since it was not reflected in their system, the manager only focused on charging and not finding a solution, she was not friendly at all and on the last day we He sent the security people very early to demand payment, even though he had already told her that I would pay in cash that day. The administration staff do not have the slightest idea of ​​how to treat a customer, they were very rude and despotic.

Worst condo/townhouse at Sandpiper Cover I've ever stayed in

Reviewer Comments: Everything in the pictures looks pretty but...upon arrival,unit's floor was so dirty my 1 year old had black feet, Nothing had batteries, only the living room tv worked, everything was cheap quality (master bed and couches were comfortable). Dining room had very dim lighting, the kitchen cabinets had no knobs ( I do not think they were manufactured to be that way) so it was very difficult to open drawers and cabinets. The trash can lid was broken, Kitchen utensils were lacking. The upstairs shower/tub was not capable of running a bath. (Maintenance did come fix that.) Floors had soft spots and laminent was coming up in areas. Unit was right near road so it was very loud. There were many holes in the walls and corners. Washer and dryer is in outdoor storage closet that smelled and had bugs. And...apparently there's new management that only allots you 2 trash bags and 2 rolls of toilet paper for a 12 person unit for a week long stay. We also filled out rental paperwork online to be told the office does not print it from online so we had to redo it in the office. The positives were the layout, amenities, beach service included, large living room, best refrigerator, stove and microwave of any unit we have stayed. We have been coming to Sandpiper cove for over 10 years and have stayed in all different condos. We love it there but we were displeased with this unit and new policies. Management was professional when I voiced my concerns but Maintenance did not remedy any of our problems during our stay except the tub and cleaning our unit again.

We stayed at the back of the property and the location was across the street from the beach. We felt safe and there were many other families there in spring break too. It’s a very family friendly place! The beach is beautiful! Some downsides were the age of the residence; they need to wash the comforters and change out the smoke detectors and check on the quality of the roof and some of the plumbing was plumbed backward. Otherwise we had a lot of bonuses, we had our own private space and laundry on site! Thanks sandpiper cove for a great stay and we would recommend your place to friends for a low key spring break!

Tennis courts and Pickleball courts are beautiful to use since the weather was too cold for swimming in the pool. Having access to kitchen and laundry is always a nice bonus on vacation. Check-in staff were wonderful.

Disappointing

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I hate to even say this because Sandpiper Cove is very nostalgic for my family. We have been vacationing here since we were children and now bring our own children. BUT... this condo was not cleaned very well at all. There was an ant/bug problem of some sort that seemed to be coming from what smelled like something stuck in the disposal. It would be clusters of about 30 tiny bugs hanging out on the counter. I cleaned it, then they would return. The floors were not cleaned with chips still on the rug near the coffee table and dust in every corner. The unit was extremely uneven which I totally understand because it is an older unit and had been remodeled, but it actually felt unsafe. There were paint cans and other construction type tools in the cabinet under the coffee station that my toddler was oh so happy to continue to open. The tv in the spare room didn't work. The headboard in the other room wasn't connected and was shaky when you sat against it, it was basically freestanding. I mean it sounds picky now, but all together it just wasn't great. At the very least it needed to be cleaned properly.

Only issue we encountered was that it is very close to Gulf shore Drive and at times faintly noisy. Beds are very comfortable which is important to us. Overall we highly recommend this unit.

Not sure if unit is still in process of upgrading, but attention to detail was lacking as well as poor repair job to multiple water leaks. Definitely could use some sort of sound proofing as you can hear EVERYTHING within the unit as well as all outside noise.
